Give It Back

--

The state of Minnesota overcollected taxes by more than $4 Billion. This is YOUR money and should be returned immediately before greedy politicians in the St Paul Swamp spend it. GIVE IT BACK!

To the Governor of Minnesota and legislators:

WHEREAS, the state of Minnesota has overcollected taxes, exceeding current biennium spending by nearly $4 Billion;

WHEREAS, the bulk of that money is sitting in a historically high reserve account for future government spending and not being used in the private sector to grow our state economy and create jobs;

WHEREAS, there are 2.4 million taxpayers in Minnesota which would greatly benefit to have more money for their families;

Therefore, be it resolved, We the Taxpayers of Minnesota demand you pass a tax refund immediately for the whole surplus to be returned to usand;

Be it further resolved, we the people of Minnesota demand a recorded roll call vote on the tax refund bill and any procedural motions related to it.

    Democrats only know how to spend. A new thought, if you want to spend on a project, the money should be taken from areas already on the books, not raise taxes, called a balanced budget. In my house if a window gets broken, I can not go to the neighbors and get money, I have to cut back someplace in my budget, like the cost of food, government must do the same………….

    The goverment should should never hold a surplus of the citizens money!!! They should only have 10% to 15% more than budgeted for the years opperation!! Give it back to the citizens who will spend the money and the goverment can collect there taxes the right way it would be a great way to stimulate the states economy, not only that but will help people pay off debts and loans before the economy tanks, if Democrats get back in the White House. Or another idea is start funding the fire department service and get the fireman the gear they need to be safe, right now the amount of depts with expired gear per NFPA and OSHA is insanely out of control because small towns, townships, and county’s can’t afford to aid because taxes are already out of control. The government should never be in control of a surplus of money!!! The citizens have lost all control and input on this once great state!!
