Corrupt DC politicians have made millions upon millions of dollars due to insider trading. Politicians profit off of the crimes that would lock up normal Americans. This behavior won’t only be found with Nancy Pelosi, we can see this with Minnesota’s own CD3 Congresswoman, Kelly Morrison. Despite Morrison being in her first Congressional term, it didn’t take her long to find ways to get rich.

CD3 Republican nominee Tyler Bass has exposed some of the stock trades that Morrison has made in Congress, including that Morrison has made 116 total trades in Congress, some of which are defense contractors. What Tyler Bass shows on his website is that Kelly Morrison profited off of war!

Bass points to a stock purchase by Morrison on 3/11/26, just nine days after the US entered the war with Iran, into a company called Saronic Technologies, a defense contractor building autonomous naval warships for the Navy. Bass further states that Saronic had just been awarded a $392M production contract!

While members of Congress are supposed to disclose financial trades, Bass says Morrison failed to do so eight times! Bass states that Morrison’s trades were worth somewhere between $1.41M and $2.91M.

The Star Tribune reported that Morrison had more trades in a three-year window than 490 members of the House and Senate were. They further said that Morrison’s net worth is valued at $41M. Despite being a leftist news outlet, Morrison refused to answer questions from the Star Tribune. Instead, Morrison blamed the trades on her investment advisor and put out a statement saying that she would divest ownership from individual stocks while simultaneously and ironically attacking “unfathomable levels of corruption and self-enrichment coming from the White House”. Despite her previous stock trades, Morrison claims to support legislation banning elected officials from trading individual stocks.

Tyler Bass became the GOP nominee by defeating never-Trumper Quentin Wittrock. As seen on Bass' campaign website, Bass states that Wittrock personally told him that he voted for Hillary Clinton in 2016, Joe Biden in 2020, and Kamala Harris in 2024. Despite Wittrock having the party endorsement and a major financial advantage, over 55% of CD3 GOP voters selected Tyler Bass to be their nominee.
