Lisa Demuth is currently listed on the Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC) website as the Vice Chair of the Executive Committee. Up until at least late April 2026, Demuth was the Finance Chair of the RSLC. Though it would seem to be a MASSIVE conflict of interest with Demuth in a leadership position for the organization, the RSLC has donated $150,000 to the Super PAC, Restore Sanity, that is supporting Lisa Demuth’s Governor campaign!

While there does not appear to be language in statute that would specifically outlaw this corrupt behavior, a similar concept can be found in MN statute 10A.176 which has to do with coordinated expenditures as opposed to coordinated donations. If similar language applied to expenditures, Demuth could be in violation of the law. 

Super PAC Restore Sanity has primarily been funded by out-of-state billionaire Dick Uihlein to the tune of MILLIONS of dollars. Lisa Demuth would have no chance at winning the GOP primary without the massive amount of special interest money supporting her.

In contrast, campaign finance receipts show that Mike Lindell and Kendall Qualls do not have shady PACs bankrolling TV commercials and mailers. Instead, both campaigns have relied on grassroots individual donations. Lindell and Qualls have also taken no lobbyist money for their campaigns while RINO Lisa Demuth has taken nearly $10,000 of lobbyist money! Demuth has chosen to run her campaign with her puppet strings seen clear as day!

The RSLC’s choice to donate massive money into a Demuth-supporting SuperPAC while she sits on their Executive Committee shows that the Establishment is willing to be corrupt right in front of our faces. They do not respect the endorsement process, the will of the people, or the interests of grassroots conservatives. They simply want to shove a liberal like Lisa Demuth down people’s throats.

Minnesota Republicans will ultimately decide who they want as their next Governor in the primary election on August 11th. The special interest money being funneled to Lisa Demuth proves that she is bought and paid for. Lisa Demuth is the status quo. She voted to waste your tax dollars on Somali fraud, abortion/Planned Parenthood, increasing radical socialist Keith Ellison’s budget, and cut backroom deals with Walz and Democrats causing the 2nd LARGEST budget in MN history as Speaker. The RSLC donation she appears to have given to the Super PAC shows just another way she is shady and only out for herself.
