There is no profession more deceptive than that of a politician. Half-truths lead the public to have misconceptions of reality. RINO politicians sell themselves as limited government conservatives while doing the opposite in office. 

Unlike the political establishment, Action 4 Liberty is a principled organization that refuses to waiver in shrinking the size and scope of government. RINOs like Lisa Demuth cannot say the same thing and are forced to tell voters half of the story.

Lisa Demuth has a campaign literature piece that her campaign has presented to delegates and alternates at local GOP conventions that touts herself as a co-author of the Never Again Bill (HF26) despite the fact that she KILLED the bill on the House floor and refuses to sign the Never Again Pledge! Since she has FAILED to deliver on the Never Again Bill, it is odd that it is mentioned as an example for how she embodies "Leadership That Delivers". See highlighted bullet point below:

As seen in recent A4L reporting, support for A4L’s signature piece of legislation, the Never Again Bill, is a top priority and litmus test for conservative voters. The Never Again Bill prevents future tyrannical lockdowns and mandates imposed unilaterally like Tim Walz did during Covid. This bill requires the House and Senate to both pass the Emergency Powers Resolution with a 2/3rds vote or the Emergency is not declared.

Republican legislators, including Lisa Demuth, have noticed the grassroots support for this legislation so they’ll sign on as a co-author to give themselves cover. However, it was not the Never Again Bill that Demuth decided to push but rather RINO Kristin Robbins’ watered-down, FAKE version of our bill. Robbins’ bill even INCREASES the amount of days a Governor has unilateral Emergency Powers!

An amendment was proposed on the floor to replace Robbins’ fake bill with A4L’s Never Again Bill and Demuth ruled it out of order to avoid a floor vote and to protect RINOs from being exposed as Uniparty swamp creatures. A vote was held on Demuth’s ruling and the RINOs got their way.

After killing the bill on the floor, never giving it a proper up and down vote, and refusing to sign the pledge, Demuth has to trick voters into thinking she is a real supporter of the legislation. A true supporter would not be dragging their feet but would be kickstarting the bill, whipping votes in support, and giving it an immediate floor vote. 

Demuth is the Speaker of the House. She has the power to bring legislation forward. If she wants to use the Never Again Bill to boost her campaign, she needs to do the leg-work involved with passing the bill.

Action 4 Liberty will continue to keep the public informed with liberty-based reporting that cannot be found anywhere else. A4L will continue to champion the Never Again Bill and will lead the fight to protect our liberty for the next generation.
