Minnesota’s fraud scandal was exposed nationally yet crooked politicians like Tim Walz and Keith Ellison are doing nothing to end the scheme funding these fraudsters. As previously reported by A4L, Walz and Ellison were compelled to testify in front of the U.S. House Oversight Committee to answer for the waste, fraud, and abuse of tax dollars seen in Minnesota. This testimony happened just two days after Keith Ellison announced he would sue the Trump Administration for withholding $243M for Medicaid payments to deter fraud.

While Walz has exited the Governor race, radical Socialist Keith Ellison is still running for Attorney General despite being even more intimately close to the Somali fraudsters than Walz was. In typical partisan political theatre, Ellison and Walz were grilled about the various elements of MN fraud by Republican members while given a pass by Democrats. While Globalist RINO Tom Emmer does not sit on the Oversight Committee, he was given speaking time by some other GOP committee member to performatively trash Walz and Ellison. Emmer made sure to attack Keith Ellison for his connections to Somali fraudsters but conveniently failed to mention that he partnered with Ellison in Congress to form a Somali Caucus! Emmer berated conservative constituents who dared to question the mass Somali migration into St. Cloud and even argued that Somalis are one of the fastest assimilating cultures in the world. Emmer partnered with Ellison to send U.S. dollars to Somalia in a program that Treasury Sec. Scott Bessent brutally attacked (remittance program that funded Muslim terrorist group Al-Shabaab) and partnered with Amy Klobuchar to waste tax dollars funding welfare to Somalia!

As seen in previous A4L reporting, President Trump taunted Emmer for his love of Somalia during a Congressional speech stating “He’s a big fan of Somalia”, which took place shortly before Emmer deleted the above press release. As many may remember, this is not the first time Trump has swung at Emmer. When Emmer desperately wanted to become Speaker of the House, Trump put out a Truth Social post that labeled Emmer a “Globalist RINO” and argued he is “totally out-of-touch with Republican Voters.” See post below:

During Emmer's Speaker bid, Charlie Kirk labeled Tom Emmer as "the worst of all of them". 

Tom Emmer is as phony as they come on the Somali issue. He had nothing to say about the Somali fraud scheme until it blew up nationally and he couldn’t avoid it. Some Republicans will be fooled by Emmer’s new-found tough rhetoric while true conservatives see through the flip-flopping. As the GOP Whip, Emmer has whipped votes for continuing resolution bills that fund all kinds of fraud nationwide! Emmer is not whipping votes in Congress for the conservative political position, he is whipping votes for the Uniparty’s political position!

There is only one way to eliminate fraud but Tim Walz, Keith Ellison, and Tom Emmer are ALL opposed to it. The abolition of pork-filled, multi-subject, fraud-ridden omnibus bills is the ONLY way to gut out the fraud. Massive bills that spend money every which way with no accountability is the root cause but Walz, Ellison, and Emmer all love over-spending omnibus bills. The government should only serve legitimate, Constitutional purposes and the federal government may have to defund Minnesota to make that message completely understood.

Emmer currently faces Marine veteran Mike Foley for the GOP endorsement and as seen in previous A4L reporting, Foley confronted Emmer at a BPOU convention about his unwillingness to engage on a veteran-related issue. Foley argues on social media that Emmer has backstabbed the Somali community. Constitutional conservative, 2024 CD6 GOP candidate, and professional golf caddy Chris Corey tells A4L he is still exploring another run against Emmer.

Action 4 Liberty will continue to advocate for the taxpayers that crooked politicians continue to screw over. Walz and Ellison are not going to be held accountable by blowhard politicians in DC, they are going to be held accountable by grassroots action. It was not Congress that exposed the MN fraud scandal, it was an independent journalist named Nick Shirley.
