Corrupt politicians use every bit of power they have to tilt the scale, rig the game, and punish their enemies. When Democrats play these dirty games, one would expect Republican legislators to stand unified in opposition. In Minnesota, that is almost never the case thanks to spineless RINO leadership by politicians like Lisa Demuth.

As seen in recent KSTP reporting, a court ruling struck down a part of the 2025 transportation omnibus bill (HF14) due to it being unconstitutional. This provision was pushed by radical Democrat House leader Zack Stephenson and sought to take about $6 Million from Anoka County and give it to the city of Anoka. The county called it political revenge, evidenced by text messages between Stephenson and the Mayor of Anoka, Erik Skogquist. In part, they wanted to punish the county for trying to build a jail.

One detail Niska does not tell people is that he and the Republican House leader, Lisa Demuth, voted for the bill that contained Stephenson’s revenge politics! 

When HF14 was debated on the House floor, Niska proposed an amendment to resolve this issue (see video). Lisa Demuth and several other legislators chose not to vote at all on the amendment, causing it to fail. Demuth was not absent, in fact, she was presiding over the House with gavel in hand. Then, Niska and Demuth voted for the corrupt, multi-subject, unconstitutional omnibus bill KNOWING this sneaky provision was in there! See bill vote below:

As seen above, 44 out of 67 House Republicans voted no. In the State Senate, all but one Republican voted no. Despite the vast majority of elected Republicans demanding the Democrat revenge politics be eliminated, Lisa Demuth and 22 other RINOs gave the Democrats exactly what they wanted. Demuth is either the worst negotiator on the planet for conservatives (incompetent) or she isn't actually conservative (a fraud).

This bill was a part of the corrupt backroom deals that Lisa Demuth cut with her Uniparty fishing buddy Tim Walz.

Despite RINO Lisa Demuth killing Niska's amendment and voting for the corrupt unconstitutional bill, Harry Niska was spotted at the MNGOP state convention sporting Demuth for Governor apparel like many other RINO legislators. The very person who failed Republicans is who Harry Niska wants to give more power to.
