Republicans sit with a 67-66 Majority in the State House yet the leadership has allowed the Executive and Judicial branches to overrule their legislative body as childish Democrats no-show. While the House GOP initially claimed the Speakership, they have since caved to the liberal Supreme Court’s ruling (that had no formal writ) and have submitted to more Democrat demands than the court even asked of them.

After over a week of repetitive press conferences and House sessions consisting of Tyrant Steve Simon falsely asserting power, a change finally happened when Majority Leader Harry Niska (31A) spoke up and fought for his motion to be heard by Tyrant Steve Simon on the floor. To that point, only Rep. Drew Roach (58B) had vocally challenged Simon’s corruption on the floor. 

Following Simon’s false claim that no quorum was present, Niska spoke at the microphone and moved to have a motion considered that purportedly would compel the attendance of absent members. It does not appear that the motion, in writing, has been released in any public fashion. If the motion was the same as the previous motions Niska has brought forward to the desk (but never spoke to on the floor) then the Democrats would be fined/have salaries removed rather than being truly “compelled” by law to appear in the House chamber.

As Niska made the motion and made it clear to Simon that he must recognize a motion from the body, Simon spoke over Niska and called the body adjourned (a power he does not have). As seen in the “MN House Info” YouTube livestream, once Simon hit the gavel and called the House adjourned, background music began to fade in and prevent Minnesotans from hearing any more. This move made it crystal clear that the House media services are working on behalf of Tyrant Steve Simon and the Democrats.

Media services, such as audio and video recording of floor sessions, are meant to be a nonpartisan role that allows citizens to be informed. This intentional cut-off shows that the House media staff is not working on behalf of We The People or even the House, they are blocking legislative business and transparency of our Constitutional Crisis. The media staff also prevented Rep. Drew Roach’s war of words from being captured on January 27th.

The House Public Information Services Office is tasked with recording and documenting floor sessions and failed to “inform the general public of legislative actions” as their website claims they do by withholding critical information and floor actions from public viewing. The biased actions of the House Public Information Services Office should result in House Republicans taking immediate action to FIRE bad actors.

House Republicans are also engaged in a lawsuit against Simon that will have oral arguments taking place tomorrow (2/6/25) but as discussed in our previous reporting, this case may not be a cure-all. The liberal Supreme Court is not looking to give any help to the GOP and like Niska’s motions, the suit may not truly “compel” attendance from Democrats. In the lawsuit, Simon even alleges to have never seen the motions previously put forward by Niska.

Conservatives across our state have become fed up with tough talk that has zero action. The WWE-style politics where RINOs pretend to fight Democrats for the crowd when they’re actually good friends backstage is becoming exposed. Self-titled “Majority Leader designate” Lisa Demuth (13A) was previously unwilling to negotiate with no-show Dems but has since restarted talks with radical Melissa Hortman, making Patriots question if Demuth is truly fighting for them. A4L has received word from individuals inside the Capitol that the GOP has begun whipping votes for a liberal “power sharing agreement” that will seat Brad Tabke completely and concede their Majority.

Niska fighting Simon on the floor is a start but he, Demuth, and other GOP leaders must reclaim power. Just as A4L told the GOP to do on the first day of session, the GOP must do the same thing again. They are currently hypocrites who have given power to Simon but must flip-flop back to the side of truth! The House GOP has a quorum and a Majority no matter what the RINOs tell you, now they just need the WILL to overthrow Tyrant Steve Simon again.
