To Governor Walz and legislators:
Whereas, the right to keep and bear arms is a fundamental right of this country and that right shall not be infringed:
Whereas, criminals do not obey gun laws, which makes them useless and only a means to disarm law-abiding citizens;
Whereas, gun registration, state-run licensing, banning of semi-automatic firearms, universal background checks and removal of firearms without due process leaves law abiding citizens unable to provide their own defense;
THEREFORE be it resolved, We the People of Minnesota demand Governor Walz and the legislature STOP all attempts of passing Red Flag gun seizure legislation, Universal Background Check legislation and all other gun confiscation, licensing or registration legislationÂ
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, We the People of Minnesota demand Governor Walz and the legislature expand gun rights in the state by passing constitutional carry and Stand Your Ground legislation.
