While the liberal media, far left Democrats, and spineless RINOs in the legislature have protected RINO Rep. Ron Kresha (10A) from PPP fraud allegations, the walls are closing in on Kresha and A4L reporting on this matter has stood the test of time. Since June, A4L has exposed the over $300K Kresha allegedly received fraudulently for his business Golden Shovel Agency. With A4L on top of it and exposing this info to the public, there was no excuse for legislators to not do the same.

State Rep. Elliott Engen (36A) announced his concern with this matter following his State Auditor campaign announcement, seemingly timed for political benefit. Later, Kresha announced he will not seek reelection for the House. In following A4L’s lead, Engen suggested the Kresha loans be investigated by the GOP-controlled House Fraud Committee.

As seen in previous A4L reporting, Walter Hudson has gone to bat for RINO Ron time after time politically, even on the PPP loan fraud. Hudson sits on the Fraud Committee alongside Chair Kristin Robbins (37A), Patti Anderson (33A), Marion Rarick (29B), Isaac Schultz (10B), and Democrats Dave Pinto (64B), Steve Elkins (50B), and Emma Greenman (63B). 

Despite members of the public reaching out to the Fraud Committee members and providing evidence through their portal, the Committee refused to take public action. It was not until this weekend that Walter Hudson admitted that the GOP members of the Fraud Committee had a “huddle” to discuss the Kresha fraud allegations. As seen in the above exchange, Hudson claims that Kresha’s PPP loans have already been litigated in court. That is NOT TRUE! Hudson has even come to admit he was wrong about that, likely because he uses sloppy Twitter A.I. as his legal research tool instead of reading primary sources like Kresha's loans and contradicting court testimony, which A4L has continued to provide to the public in our reporting. How could he even be under such a false belief if the GOP had a good "huddle" on the issue already? Hudson has proven he is an extremely unimpressive politician that spends more time on social media than doing anything productive for the conservative cause. Hudson has ingratiated himself into the St. Paul Swamp and is a loyal cultist for his RINO colleagues who seems to lack the "tremendous character" it takes to break away from group think. Hudson wants to purge A4L supporters from the MNGOP but does not want to purge the corruption out of the party!

Hudson’s admission of a “huddle” with GOP members appears to be a blatant violation of Open Meeting Laws (MN Statute 3.055) and MN House Rules! According to House Rule 6.21 committee meetings must be open to the public if there is a quorum present (with a majority being the quorum) and action is taken. Rule 6.24 requires meeting minutes that include the time, place, present members, name & address of testifiers, language of motions, who made motions, roll call votes, the bills, and other important matters of the committee. Rule 6.23 establishes protocol in cases of a violation where an individual can file a complaint to the MN Speaker of the House where the matter can be referred to the Ethics Committee. With Demuth’s newly launched Governor campaign, this could be a test for her to hold her own party accountable.

Action 4 Liberty will never waiver in our mission to protect liberty for the next generation and we will never back down from that fight. We demand that our government be transparent, truthful, just, and protecting our God-given liberties. Walter Hudson’s admission of violating open meeting laws and rules with other GOP Fraud Committee members to protect RINO Ron Kresha from credible allegations of PPP loan fraud is just another example of the Swamp protecting the Swamp.
