End Walz' Emergency Powers

Governor Walz is crushing our economy and limiting our freedoms by issuing unilateral orders! It's time to get Minnesota's economy working again. It's time to let Minnesota businesses determine how to safely and reasonably open their doors by ending Walz' destructive emergency powers.

To Governor Walz and legislators:

Whereas, one person does not have the legal authority to remove the rights of Minnesotans protected by our Constitution and Bill of Rights;

Whereas, Governor Walz' emergency powers is devastating our state economy and killing the heart of it - small businesses;

Whereas, the "Stay at Home" order is turning neighbors against neighbors using Walz' hotline;

Whereas, free people can make safe and reasonable accommodations to open businesses during a crisis while still adhering to good medical advice;

THEREFORE be it resolved, We The People of Minnesota demand Governor Walz immediately end his emergency powers;

Be it further resolved, if Governor Walz won't comply, We The People of Minnesota demand the legislature removes his powers and we demand a recorded vote on all motions and bills pertaining to ending Walz' emergency powers.

Our current breaking point is about a failure to lead and not about a reaction to a pandemic.

Any toddler would have known we as a society should have placed our resources to protect the immune compromised and elderly at the time of the economic shutdown.

Instead Governor Walz perpetrated FRAUD by paying a group of undergrads at the University of Minnesota to model a COVID scenario. The UMN model was made over a weekend and based on the Imperial College of London model which was debunked six-months ago. Walz had claimed to base his decision to begin a shutdown on the UMN model which he initially wouldn’t even release for review.

In contrast from recent CDC mortality rate projections for anyone under 50-years old is less than a 0.02-percent chance of fatality from COVID.

0 to 19 years old 99.997% survival

20 to 49 years old 99.98% survival

50 to 69 years old 99.5% survival

70 + years old 94.6% survival

The only legitimate response would have been to put all resources into quarantining immune compromised individuals, the sick and elderly. Walz did the opposite by discharging infectious patients directly into elderly assisted living centers. This is a SHAM.
