A RESOLUTION
Impeaching Governor Timothy J. Walz of the State of Minnesota
WHEREAS, the Minnesota Constitution provides that the Governor is subject to impeachment for malfeasance, nonfeasance, or serious abuse of public trust; and
WHEREAS, the Governor is responsible for the faithful execution of the laws and the proper oversight of executive branch agencies; and

WHEREAS, audits, investigations, and prosecutions have documented widespread fraud, ignored warnings, and systemic oversight failures within agencies under executive authority; and
WHEREAS, these failures persisted over an extended period despite clear indicators of abuse, demonstrating a pattern of executive nonfeasance and mismanagement; and
WHEREAS, such failures constitute a serious breach of fiduciary duty and have severely undermined public confidence in state government;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Governor Timothy J. Walz is hereby impeached for nonfeasance and failure to faithfully execute the laws of the State of Minnesota; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that articles of impeachment be prepared and transmitted to the Minnesota Senate for trial in accordance with the Constitution.
