End Walz' Emergency Powers

Governor Walz is crushing our economy and limiting our freedoms by issuing unilateral orders! It's time to get Minnesota's economy working again. It's time to let Minnesota businesses determine how to safely and reasonably open their doors by ending Walz' destructive emergency powers.

To Governor Walz and legislators:

Whereas, one person does not have the legal authority to remove the rights of Minnesotans protected by our Constitution and Bill of Rights;

Whereas, Governor Walz' emergency powers is devastating our state economy and killing the heart of it - small businesses;

Whereas, the "Stay at Home" order is turning neighbors against neighbors using Walz' hotline;

Whereas, free people can make safe and reasonable accommodations to open businesses during a crisis while still adhering to good medical advice;

THEREFORE be it resolved, We The People of Minnesota demand Governor Walz immediately end his emergency powers;

Be it further resolved, if Governor Walz won't comply, We The People of Minnesota demand the legislature removes his powers and we demand a recorded vote on all motions and bills pertaining to ending Walz' emergency powers.

Need to stop this! He’s killing Minnesota. He let the the cities burn to the ground. Every crime is up. Murder really!! Burn down police headquarters. He should not be paid for his worthless actions! But he doesn’t care about all the people that keep America going! He offers nothing and I’ll do whatever it takes to get this worthless politician out of office! He doesn’t understand that people have to live. As long as he’s fine. He’s telling us that bars, restaurants, gyms are spreading the Covid. Millions of people walk through Walmart, target, Home Depot. Every day? That’s not a concern? He needs to go!!!!

It is time that the people of Minnesota take back their freedoms and end this abuse of power. We elected our Legislators to represent us, the Executive is not a representative of the people. We need to pressure our Legislators on both sides of the aisle to do their job and start following the actual science which shows none of these measures work. Those who lived through the 1918 Spanish Flu pandemic knew more then than we do now 102 years later. They knew that despite their efforts, viruses spread, especially aerosolized ones like SARS-CoV2 is. Stop with the fear porn and start with recognizing we are a free people. Politicians serve the people, not the other way around. They serve at the will of the governored, we do not serve at the will of the government. Walz has no authority to suspend the MN mask law that makes wearing a face mask illegal in public, only the legislature can do that. Any suggestion, council, or forced rule telling someone they can break a law is, in fact, illegal in its self. It is time for large scale civil disobedience, live your lives, and tell the government to stay out of your own personal decisions which are rooted in freedom and enshrined in the MN and US Constitution.
