End Walz' Emergency Powers

Governor Walz is crushing our economy and limiting our freedoms by issuing unilateral orders! It's time to get Minnesota's economy working again. It's time to let Minnesota businesses determine how to safely and reasonably open their doors by ending Walz' destructive emergency powers.

To Governor Walz and legislators:

Whereas, one person does not have the legal authority to remove the rights of Minnesotans protected by our Constitution and Bill of Rights;

Whereas, Governor Walz' emergency powers is devastating our state economy and killing the heart of it - small businesses;

Whereas, the "Stay at Home" order is turning neighbors against neighbors using Walz' hotline;

Whereas, free people can make safe and reasonable accommodations to open businesses during a crisis while still adhering to good medical advice;

THEREFORE be it resolved, We The People of Minnesota demand Governor Walz immediately end his emergency powers;

Be it further resolved, if Governor Walz won't comply, We The People of Minnesota demand the legislature removes his powers and we demand a recorded vote on all motions and bills pertaining to ending Walz' emergency powers.

My husband and I were small business owners in the state of MN for over 20 years. There are enough challenges as it is to stay afloat let alone the battle of limiting contact with customers who are the life blood of our business. A reminder that small businesses are the backbone of the U.S. that create jobs and drive the economy. There is a massive ripple effect that impacts families when their is no income coming in. This leads to many other potential health fallouts that likely far out weigh the impact of Covid.

Walz needs to go! Period! I’ve had covid and it was no different than any other flu like virus I have gotten, and I followed all precautions. Don’t believe the hype. Walz is the worst type of politician alive and he is backed by the biggest piece of racist garbage Keith Elison who doesn’t even have the decency to say thank you to the state troopers that have been protecting him through all this. Keep using that back door out of your office so you don’t have to face the people protecting you Keith you worm. MN needs to be cleaned up from the top down.

This needs to end. Anyone can go to the stores, malls big box stores etc. but sports, and restraints are fully close. Those place and activities have done everything they can to do what is needed. Yet you go to Wal-Mart and its gross, anyone can go, show up and shop for as long as they want. Makes 0 sense.

I own a small business that will fail if this continues. The Governor’s that are putting these mandates in to play, are they collecting a full paycheck? Have their children been laid off or hours cut sure to lack of income? Just wondering? If the shoe was on the other foot, if all works be the same.
