End Walz' Emergency Powers

Governor Walz is crushing our economy and limiting our freedoms by issuing unilateral orders! It's time to get Minnesota's economy working again. It's time to let Minnesota businesses determine how to safely and reasonably open their doors by ending Walz' destructive emergency powers.

To Governor Walz and legislators:

Whereas, one person does not have the legal authority to remove the rights of Minnesotans protected by our Constitution and Bill of Rights;

Whereas, Governor Walz' emergency powers is devastating our state economy and killing the heart of it - small businesses;

Whereas, the "Stay at Home" order is turning neighbors against neighbors using Walz' hotline;

Whereas, free people can make safe and reasonable accommodations to open businesses during a crisis while still adhering to good medical advice;

THEREFORE be it resolved, We The People of Minnesota demand Governor Walz immediately end his emergency powers;

Be it further resolved, if Governor Walz won't comply, We The People of Minnesota demand the legislature removes his powers and we demand a recorded vote on all motions and bills pertaining to ending Walz' emergency powers.

Minnesota is tired of the lies about actually sick people who tested positive and those with no symptoms! Tired of being held hostage! Your cure has long ago become more dangerous than the virus.

The actions you’ve taken have closed hospitals, furloughed nurses, and decreased our ability to care for the elderly and immunocompromised in case of serious illness. Rather than protecting the vulnerable, you’ve killed our small business and put our most vulnerable at risk without the necessary care they need.

Stop spending so much time stressing the importance of masks and social distancing, and focus on the importance of living a healthy lifestyle, eating well, taking care of our bodies. Do you know how many people still think choosing a slice of white bread is healthier than a vegetable or high quality protein?

If you want to mandate things, consider mandating all stores discontinue the sale of highly processed junk food, and candy and sugar for the duration of the pandemic.

Give us true, honest information. What will help more than masks is healthy people. Be honest about the thing we know work (Food, exercise, vitamins when appropriate,etc) and the things we hope will work (masks,etc) and the things we know make it worse (junk food, lack of sleep, isolation, depression, etc) and let us interact with each other in our comfort zone.

Something to keep in mind- many have stopped listening to you and don’t know your latest mandates, because it has gotten so absurd.

Every business that has been closed, needs to open their doors and get on with their lives!! What are they going to do? Arrest everyone? Businesses must stick together and fight back! We need To petition Walz and Ellison out of office.
