Whereas, it’s a human right to travel, conduct trade, assemble and the Declaration of Independence recognizes the right to pursue happiness, and;

Whereas, elected officials take an oath to uphold people’s rights and are duty bound to that oath, and;

Whereas, Gov. Walz has violated a number of laws with his executive orders, and;

Whereas, Gov. Walz' illegal orders have destroyed businesses, jobs and livelihoods, and;

Whereas, Gov Walz has violated specifically the 14th Amendment that states “nor shall any state deprive any person of life, liberty or property, without due process of law"

THEREFORE, be it resolved, that we the people of Minnesota DEMAND A RECALL of Gov. Tim Walz for his repeated offenses against his oath and the people & businesses of Minnesota.

Early on in the pandemic I applauded his efforts, as time went on and knowledge of the virus and its transmission grew he did not adjust his policies to reflect the changes. By summer it was clear to me that even with the occupancy limits and social distancing guidelines being followed by small businesses his closures of bars, restaurants, gyms, and others was draconian at best. We new by then that Covid liked densely packed humans with a “hot” carrier to transmit. It was not a casual transmitter like our yearly influenza. Knowing this he kept small businesses closed and put thousands out of work with no known end date. Our neighbors hurting financially, socially, mentally, and physically by his decisions. One must ask are his decisions out of love for the people or are they about power intoxication.

Walz had the opportunity to stop the damage in mpls via police force, instead he did nothing, now he expects tax payers to pick up the tab

Definitely needs a recall. He has kept our state in a perpetual state of lockdown to destroy businesses. Also has kept the people of Minnesota hostage with mask wearing and lockdowns. A constant state of fear porn! From what I understand, every governor in every state, was somehow involved with corruption in the 2020 presidential election. Minnesotans deserve better!
