End Walz' Emergency Powers

Governor Walz is crushing our economy and limiting our freedoms by issuing unilateral orders! It's time to get Minnesota's economy working again. It's time to let Minnesota businesses determine how to safely and reasonably open their doors by ending Walz' destructive emergency powers.

To Governor Walz and legislators:

Whereas, one person does not have the legal authority to remove the rights of Minnesotans protected by our Constitution and Bill of Rights;

Whereas, Governor Walz' emergency powers is devastating our state economy and killing the heart of it - small businesses;

Whereas, the "Stay at Home" order is turning neighbors against neighbors using Walz' hotline;

Whereas, free people can make safe and reasonable accommodations to open businesses during a crisis while still adhering to good medical advice;

THEREFORE be it resolved, We The People of Minnesota demand Governor Walz immediately end his emergency powers;

Be it further resolved, if Governor Walz won't comply, We The People of Minnesota demand the legislature removes his powers and we demand a recorded vote on all motions and bills pertaining to ending Walz' emergency powers.

This is a ridiculous power grab by the DFL. The governor has intuited this power grab so he can tell everybody that he wants done. The last time I looked he was the governor not the King of Minnesota. This whole cabal was was and is a power grab. He has no legal power under the constitution. The powers he is saying he has are the powers of the federal that are granted to the constitution. Besides that by the time he makes up his mind what the state should do it has been to late the damage has been done. He has waffled on any thing that should have been done immediately, i.e. Locking down the state, suppressing the riots after Floyd, death, allowing the freeways to be shut down,. This crisis is a product of the DFL controlling not only the legislature, but the state bureaucracy also which is controlled by the DFL representatives in the legislature.

The people of this state are being led by a bunch of know nothing bleeding heart country bumkin liberals. The older this country gets the drummer our politicians get. When the constitution was written and there was no part that said that all people is the United States were guarantied the right to three hots and a cot, plus free college level

education. Declaration of Independence sated the were have the right yo pursue happiness. but there was no guarantee that you would get it. Always remember this if you tax the rich and give those proceeds to the poor eventually there will be nothing to take from the rich because they will get tired of having to give their money to people who have not had to toil to get it.

Walz, you work for us. We have the knowledge and common sense to do what is best for our families, business, customers and friends. We don’t need you/government health officials telling us how to manage our health/lives. Get out of our way.

You need to work to reduce the size of government and taxes. You need to spend more time weeding out ineffective/inefficient departments and the people that run them.
