If you are afraid to say things as they are, you can never get the job done.
Our country and state have been forced to endure millions of illegal aliens pouring in with hopes of freebies from Socialists in government. While President Trump has taken up the cause of deportation, states must remove all incentives for illegal immigration. Unfortunately, MN Republicans are failing to follow in Trump’s decisive attitude.
Things are worse when GOP leaders are afraid to utter the words “illegal alien” or “illegal immigrant”. RINO Speaker Lisa Demuth (13A) has even gone as far as to adopt woke language like “undocumented Minnesotans”, laying out a false impression that illegals are innocent angels instead of criminal invaders.
House Majority leader Harry Niska (31A) has also joined Demuth in softening language on uncomfortable truths by exclusively using the term “undocumented immigrants” in a House floor speech. Out of touch House Republicans shared this speech on their X account, highlighting how they will cave to liberal demands over “offensive” words. The truth is sometimes offensive and we cannot be scared to say it. Accepting false framework and language from Democrats hinders the mission. Rep. Jeff Backer (9A) even corrected himself as he spoke on the topic while sometimes saying "undocumented".
The contents of the speech otherwise sounds fine, until you realize, as detailed in our previous reporting, the bill agreed upon by Uniparty leaders in the special session deal leaves a loophole in place for illegals receiving taxpayer funded care. The bill (HF1) is a scam and did not do what Republicans were told it would since it leaves a provision of law that serves as a loophole.
Words have meaning and Republicans exchanging the word “illegal” for “undocumented” is just one of many ways that elected RINO politicians have sold out the conservative cause. The conservative grassroots does not want weak-kneed RINOs backing down from the America First agenda. A4L will continue to expose the corruption of our state and serve as the standard-bearer for conservative principles in our state.
