The Minnesota House voted on Monday to ban discrimination on the basis of hair.
HF1315, the so-called “Crown Act”, adds language to the Minnesota Human Rights Act that redefines the term race to include “traits associated with race” which includes “hair styles such as braids, locks and twists.”
Here’s the entire bill:
This legislation was created under the guise of racial equality for black people. In reality, this is identity politics and government control over businesses. Business owners have to make their own hiring choices, using government coercion on the basis of hairstyles is beyond ridiculous!
The radical leftists behind this insane legislation that aims to liberalize hairstyles in private businesses are the same people who want private businesses to fire the unvaccinated!
Look at this bill for yourself and decide if Minnesota citizens are clamoring for new business regulations relating to “braids, locks, and twists!”
One potential damage from this insanely iditoic legislation is that the military will no longer be able to have a uniform standard for haircuts, unless the institution is willing to violate the Minnesota Human Rights Act. It of course won't do that.
What’s even worse about this insanity is that it’s bipartisan! The vote was 104-26 with all of the DFL members and a majority of the GOP members.

In our upside down government, they are focused on hair discrimination instead of IMMEDIATELY refunding the $12 Billion surplus or stopping vaccine mandates!
No need for government intervention, individuals can make their own employment choices. Action 4 Liberty opposes all wasteful spending and laws. This bill fits the bill. It’s now up to the Senate GOP to stand with the Left’s “Social Justice” or they can fight it and brush it off.
