As a retired realtor, I met with many senior citizens who were no longer able to stay in their homes because of sky high property taxes. One example is someone I know whose property taxes were $964 a year when the house was purchased, now they are $4,064. For someone living on social security, $338.66 a month in property taxes is not sustainable. Something must be done about property taxes, and, may I add, taxing social security income.

I’m retired and being squeezed out of my home by skyrocketing taxes and insurance. My mortgage takes more than half my social security. This madness needs to stop.

We the people demand it!

My dad is getting raped by his property taxes. Worked his ass off his whole life only to get fucked over on his property taxes and insurance which ultimately will force him out soon! Minnesota, its county’s and city’s are crooks!!

Taxes are way too high!
