The 16 year incumbent that's never actually shrank government just said the quiet part out loud on X.  Rep. Mary Franson admitted on X this evening that the members of the Rules committee will KILL articles of impeachment that have been filed against Keith Ellison and Tim Walz.  

The rules committee is comprised of two Republicans, Harry Niska and Elliott Engen, and two Democrats, Athena Hollins and Jamie Long.  

Harry Niska and Elliott Engen COULD choose to actually fight their committee members to get articles of impeachment out of committee.  Or any member of the body could make a motion to discharge Articles of Impeachment out of committee and force a floor vote.

One would think Elliott Engen, who's primary message as a State Auditor candidate is "accountability", would at least put up a fight.  

But that's too much work for Mary Franson and her RINO colleagues that refused to support Articles of Impeachment against Walz 5 years ago when I originally authored them.

So Mary is throwing in the towel already and she knows that's exactly what Niska and Engen will do also.  But should we even be surprised?  Franson wore her precious little mask every day during COVID.  She votes for bigger government and bigger budgets all the time.

The problem with Minnesota Republicans is they have NO FIGHT in them.  They're so scared of losing that they don't even know how to win - electorally or legislatively.  

What I do find comical though, is just 3 days ago Franson was expressing her envy about the new MN Freedom Caucus on X.  She was clearly emotionally charged by the fact that she wasn't accepted as a member of the MN Freedom Caucus.  She even went so far as to pull from the radical left's playbook and accuse the Freedom Caucus of being sexist against women...simply because she wasn't chosen to be a founding member.

Of course the reality that I suspect is that the Freedom Caucus actually has standards - you know like voting conservatively or favorably towards freedom.  I may be taking too big of a leap here with this assumption but something tells me the Freedom Caucus promotes...Freedom, less government, smaller budgets.  And that's not what Mary's legislative scorecard looks like with her 33% 2025 voting record.  

What Mary Franson and her colleagues ought to be working on is holding the Walz administration accountable for the BILLIONS of dollars of fraud that's occurred under his watch.  She should be locking arms with the MN Freedom Caucus and going to war with them to Impeach Tim Walz, Impeach Keith Ellison and defund the CCAP program.  That's what liberty-loving Minnesotans want!

We're done being taxed into oblivion and watching pale, palpitating mounds of political Play-Doh like Mary Franson get so squishy and fearful of taking meaningful action.

Tell Mary and her worthless, weak-kneed, cowardly RINO friends to either FIGHT NOW or get the hell out of the way so someone else can.
