Minneapolis and State Democrat Parties Feud Over Mayor Race

The electronic voting system used at the Minneapolis Democrat party endorsing convention was so rigged and flawed that state party leadership investigated and nullified the party’s endorsement of Socialist Omar Fateh. Despite this, the Minneapolis Democrat Party is appealing this ruling and demanding Fateh remain the endorsed candidate.

The convention’s flawed voting system allegedly did not count hundreds of participants. Attendees do indicate that the flaws existed throughout the convention but some also say that Frey supporters were directed by the Frey campaign to leave the floor once they realized they did not have the votes to continue. The convention had many Somali Muslims participating and the schedule planned several interrupting Muslim prayer breaks.

Interestingly, the convention required an I.D. in order to attend yet Dems oppose voter I.D. laws to ensure ballot box elections are secure! Fateh argues that Establishment Democrats are against him because he is a true progressive and it appears the Minneapolis Democrat Party stands with him still. The appeal of the endorsement retraction will appear before the Democrat State Executive Committee and it is unclear when or if they will rule on it. What appears most likely is they stand by the previous state party ruling that retracted the endorsement since Walz' people are running the show.

Fateh will always spout the furthest left position he possibly can including making Minneapolis a sanctuary city for illegal aliens, would not cooperate with I.C.E. deportations, would allow drug-addicted homeless to infect the streets, shutting down the Hennepin Energy Recovery Center (which produces energy from trash) while Hennepin County has zero landfills, defunding the police, and thinks almost half of 911 calls do not require police officers and could instead have unarmed counselors/social workers deal with the deranged criminals instead! Besides attacking white people in the legislature, Fateh reportedly threatened Democrat leadership that he would vote no on major legislation (alongside Republicans) that would block the budget's passage unless they pass his Socialist takeover of Uber.

On the other hand, Walz-endorsed incumbent Mayor Jacob Frey is a little man who is a puppet for his donors, special interests, and ultra-woke causes. Left wing discontent with Frey largely appears to be his maintenance of the status quo, some squabbles with the Socialists on the city council, his refusal to abolish the Minneapolis PD, and a general desire for change. The growth of Islam and the mass-immigration of Somalis has completely changed what Minnesota is. Unfortunately, Somalis in our state have become best known for participating in and running mass fraud organizations (like Feeding our Future) funded by tax payers given by the Walz Administration.

Despite Frey’s attempts to suck up to the Somali constituency (that often doesn’t speak English), they along with Socialists and Gen Z voting blocks are still favoring Fateh as a Minneapolis Mamdani (Fateh is desperately trying to recreate the TikTok strategy of Mamdani). Minneapolis’ changing demographics point to a shift but political observers largely expect Frey to retain his seat due to the lip service he gives the left. As an example, in a press conference that Frey turned into a gross campaign speech immediately after the recent horrific Catholic school shooting committed by an unhinged transgender, Jacob Frey said “Don’t just say this is about thoughts and prayers right now”, undermining legitimate ways good people grieve. So Christians will look at the ballot box and see the choice of someone who rejects God and a Muslim, and then they’re told to support the lesser evil. If Frey thinks he has conservative voters locked down he may be in for a surprise.

Beyond Frey and Fateh, there are 13 other candidates running for Mayor. Minneapolis voters will get to rank their top three choices. If a voter’s first choice is eliminated their vote goes towards their second choice and then to their third. The first candidate to receive over 50% of the vote will be declared the winner in the November election. See info on each candidate below:

A4L encourages voters to research candidates and vote for who they believe will shrink the size and scope of government to protect our God-given liberties.

NOTE - You may notice in this piece and others that A4L refuses to call Democrats by their preferred acronym (DFL) since they are a phony and insulting representative of any value, principle, or position of farmers or laborers. We encourage all to reject the false language and to simply call Democrats what they are. Former MN Dem Chair Ken Martin now runs the DNC who has become one of the least effective or competent national party chairs in history and has proven that there is zero separation in platform from the national party to the state party.
