Minnesota’s out of control fraud problem has been exposed and now politicians must root it out of the government. Some government programs such as the Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) are beyond repair, as we have seen our tax dollars fund shell daycare operations, often run by Somali migrants.

Some in the legislature have had enough of the fraud and are taking action!

In the House, Rep. Drew Roach (58B) introduced HF4336 as the chief author which would defund and eliminate the fraud-ridden CCAP program. As seen in previous A4L reporting, Sen. Nathan Wesenberg (SD10) introduced this bill in the Senate as the chief author. The Senate version, SF4421, became publicly available on Friday, March 13th and the House version, HF4336, became publicly available on Monday, March 16th.

The House and Senate bills have identical language and are the guaranteed way to eliminate child care fraud in Minnesota. A4L has been exposing CCAP fraud with reporting back to 2019 and 2020 but RINO politicians have continued funding the fraud-ridden program alongside radical Democrats.

Rep. Roach is joined in the House with the following co-authors on the bill: Reps Ben Davis (6A), Max Rymer (28B), and Isaac Schultz (10B). As seen in previous A4L reporting, Sen. Wesenberg also has three co-authors on the bill in the Senate. The maximum number of bill authors, including the chief author, is five in the Senate and 35 in the House. Conservatives can find and contact their legislators to ask why they have not signed onto this bill.

The bill will go to the Children & Families House Committee where legislators must fight to defund fraud or be exposed for protecting fraud. With GOP control of the House, it would be a failure of Lisa Demuth if she cannot get the GOP caucus to pass this bill.

Action 4 Liberty will continue leading the MN conservative movement with liberty-based reporting that you can’t get anywhere else. The Democrats and RINOs must be put to the test on fraud and the Sen. Wesenberg/Rep. Roach legislation is the best way to do so.
