RINO Tiffany Liemaster Defeated for GOP Senate Endorsement on First Ballot

The MN Senate District 15 GOP endorsing convention took place on Saturday, March 21st and featured a three person contest for the State Senator endorsement. Incumbent RINO Gary Dahms chose to retire so local Republicans were given the opportunity to elect new blood. While this convention ultimately anointed Braxton Seifert, the son of career politician Marty Seifert, it also resulted in a resounding defeat of crooked Tiffany Liemaster!

Tiffany Liemaster-Knott is the CD7 GOP Chair due to herself and other corrupt CD7 GOP officials unjustly removing conservative Bret Bussman from the Chair position that he was elected to by CD7 delegates. Bussman became chair by defeating a staffer of RINO Michelle Fischbach. Following this, Fischbach’s puppets feared Bussman would act NEUTRALLY and allow for a fair CD7 endorsing convention that does not ensure victory for Fischbach. With U.S. Air Force veteran Major, grassroots conservative, and 2016 & 2018 CD7 GOP nominee Dave Hughes competing against Fischbach for the GOP endorsement, the RINOs are clearly fearful of the growing dissatisfaction of Fischbach to amount in her ousting.

Tiffany has done the bidding of the RINO Establishment in CD7 for years. As seen in previous A4L reporting, Liemaster is responsible for blocking Otter Tail delegates from attending the 2025 CD7 Convention that they were duly elected to! Local conservatives even compared Liemaster's antics to that of a self-appointed Queen. Liemaster may have been installed as the Establishment’s preferred puppet for CD7 Chair but it appears SD15 Republicans don’t want to give her any more power!

Liemaster was resoundingly DEFEATED on the first ballot in this race with her opponent Braxton Seifert winning over 60% of the vote! She is proving herself to be so toxic that even certain wings of the Establishment know she is nothing but trouble!

Beyond Liemaster and Seifert, former January 6th political prisoner Brian Mock also competed for the Senate endorsement. While Mock clearly represented the anti-establishment, America First wing of the GOP, he was unable to gain major traction due in part to the small time window of his candidacy.

SD15 conservatives will have to keep on Braxton Seifert, who is just 22 years old. As the son of the former RINO Minority Leader in the State House and two time Governor candidate, Braxton can step out of the shadow of his father by championing the cause of limited government. Seifert was the hand-selected choice of outgoing RINO Sen. Gary Dahms with many suspecting that this switch-a-roo was long planned. Seifert announced his candidacy right after Dahms’ announcement of retirement and had a fully prepared campaign video that featured scenes that did not appear to be filmed in the winter month of January (when the candidacy was launched).

Seifert, an auctioneer and bank loan officer, has released a series of videos describing his view on various policy positions. In one video, Seifert admits that tax dollars fund abortion but misrepresents how and why. Like most Establishment Republicans, Seifert points to Doe v. Gomez and falsely argues that the only way to defund abortion is by overturning that case.

Seifert will soon learn he is dead-wrong because his likely soon to be colleague, Sen. Nathan Wesenberg (SD10), introduced an amendment on the Senate floor to defund all taxpayer spending on abortion and it was recognized as a legitimate vote/proposal by ALL members in the Senate (nobody objected to the vote). Sen. Weseberg is able to do this for several reasons, notably: A court cannot compel a legislator to support or oppose any given policy. Additionally, Doe v. Gomez does NOT require abortion be funded with tax dollars, it compels that the legislature must fund abortion if they are funding pro-childbirth options for women. This means that if the legislature does not fund pregnancy centers, they do not have to fund abortion! See portion of the MN Supreme Court’s opinion on Doe v. Gomez below:

Because we agree with plaintiffs and because the State has not convinced us that the statutes in question are necessary to promote a compelling governmental interest, we hold that the challenged provisions are unconstitutional. Our decision is only based upon this court's determination that a pregnant woman, who is eligible for medical assistance and is considering an abortion for therapeutic reasons, cannot be coerced into choosing childbirth over abortion by a legislated funding policy.

Braxton Seifert clearly has a lot to learn and it is to be seen how he will operate with power. Action 4 Liberty will continue to be straight-shooters who provide liberty-based reporting that MN Patriots cannot get anywhere else.
