RINO Wayne Johnson Teams Up with Democrat; Tony Jurgens 2.0

The residents of State House district 41A (and Senate district 41) have been forced to endure radical left Democrats and RINOs that align with Democrats. RINO Tony Jurgens was soundly defeated by conservative Tom Dippel in the GOP primary for the SD41 Senate race by winning with an over 20% margin of victory. Instead of unifying behind Dippel’s candidacy, Jurgens endorsed far-left Democrat Judy Seeberger. Now RINO Wayne Johnson is partnering with radical Democrat Karla Bigham, someone who voted for just about every radical left policy under the sun.

SD41 was the closest State Senate race (a 0.7% margin of victory/321 votes) in the state and gave Democrats full trifecta control in 2022. Had Tony Jurgens not endorsed Seeberger, the State Senate could’ve removed burglar Nicole Mitchell from office and passed conservative agenda items. Even after costing Republicans control of the Senate, Jurgens and Johnson happily posed with Democrats including Angie Craig, Karla Bigham, and Judy Seeberger in a ribbon-cutting ceremony. See below:

One of Jurgens’ big supporters was RINO Wayne Johnson, the now-State Rep. of district 41A. See below:

Johnson is following in the footsteps of Jurgens as he scored a pathetic 41.67% on the A4L 2025 Scorecard and has ingratiated himself into the RINO Establishment with votes for all kinds of corrupt, unconstitutional, liberal omnibus bills. In addition, Johnson is also following Jurgens’ footsteps in regards to cozying up with Democrats!

Wayne Johnson recently announced he would be doing a joint "listening and learning" town hall with radical, big government Democrat Karla Bigham! Instead of listening to and learning from the conservative voters that elected Johnson in the general election, he is running to the Democrats for their opinions! See below:

It is no surprise that Johnson doesn’t respect Republicans. Though Johnson ultimately broke his word by refusing to abide by the endorsement pledge he signed, he briefly left the GOP in a hissy-fit after losing the party endorsement. See below:

It doesn’t end there, Johnson has long been connected to Bigham and Democrats. As seen in the photos below, Johnson has sucked up to other Democrats like Amy Klobuchar, Tina Smith, Angie Craig, and more! Also seen in the photos below is Wayne Johnson’s love of covid masks:

Action 4 Liberty has known Wayne Johnson is a liberal RINO from the jump and has refused to stay silent on it. A4L even held a very successful Day of Action in district 41A so constituents could be informed of Johnson’s big government record, particularly on his rejection of the Never Again Bill (preventing any future Governor from imposing covid-style lockdowns again). Johnson's partnership with crazy Democrats is something no regular Republican would do, this is the St. Paul Swamp mentality.

Johnson running to the Democrats is no surprise, he is out of touch with conservatives in a district that has been through the ringer. Johnson has proven himself to be Tony Jurgens 2.0 by sucking up to the far-left instead of holding his ground. A4L will never waiver in our mission to protect liberty for the next generation and will keep Patriots informed with news that they cannot get anywhere else.

There’s nothing wrong with holding a Senate District town hall, even if the other legislators are from the opposite party. If opposite party legislators are excluded, then it is misleading to call it a town hall; it is a partisan forum. Such was the case when Senator Nick Frentz (D-18) and Representative Luke Frederick (D-18B) held “town halls” excluding Representative Erika Schwarz (R-18A) prior to last year’s election. They would only take written questions from the audience (unless they personally knew the questioner), and screened out any that were uncomfortable for the DFL narrative. This is a stark contrast with the town halls the late Representative Jim Hagedorn had, in which he took verbal questions, even hostile ones.

Representative Johnson could be faulted for many things, but holding a real town hall isn’t one of them.
