Radical left Democrats just retook total control of Minnesota. This was not a small win, the results show Democrats winning every statewide position, obtaining a 39-28 majority in the State Senate, and taking back control of the State House with a 77-57 majority.

Minnesota Republicans continue to lose because RINOs fail to inspire their base. In the U.S. Senate and Governor race, RINOs propped up the most left-wing candidates they could find, Michele Tafoya and Lisa Demuth, only for both to lose to corrupt Democrats by double-digits.

Caving on core conservative principles does little to win over new voters, instead, it just chases away the America First voters that propelled Trump to retake the White House in 2024.

Hundreds of thousands of Trump voters in Minnesota stayed home and did not vote. The Republican candidates failed to inspire conservative voters, and in doing so, they have lost in dramatic fashion.

Despite the fake news spin, Tafoya and Demuth were terrible candidates. Tafoya undermined the pro-life movement and Demuth voted to fund Somali fraud, abortion, and big government as Speaker. While Tafoya made it clear from the start that she did not care about the will of Republican state convention delegates, Lisa Demuth claimed she would abide by the endorsement, only to backtrack on the pledge as soon as she lost at the state convention.

The highest number of votes that any Republican has ever received was for President Donald Trump in 2024. Unlike Tafoya and Demuth, President Trump was able to excite the GOP base and turn them out to the polls. Many disenfranchised, first-time voters are a part of the coalition that allowed Trump to recapture the White House. However, these voters will not just turn out for any politician, especially RINOs like Tafoya and Demuth who openly oppose the America First movement.

Voters who watched Minnesota’s only televised Governor debate saw two unimpressive politicians and chose the one that they knew for longer. The debate was Demuth’s ONLY chance to show that she was smart, capable, and competent and she glitched out like a robot! 

The bottom line is this: Uninspiring RINO candidates will not save Minnesota. They are actively destroying it and blocking real conservatives from power.

If conservatives ever want to win in Minnesota, they will have to recapture the Republican Party first.
