Corruption hides in darkness, only transparency can expose it. Minnesotans are anxiously awaiting the full details of the Uniparty’s big government budget proposals decided in private backroom meetings that have been separated into 14 different bills. Most of these bills will be massive, unconstitutional, left wing garbage spending or policy omnibus bills amounting to billions upon billions of wasted tax dollars. Unfortunately, our state is left in the dark as ZERO finalized bills are available to be seen by the public and 3 out of the 14 bills do not even have drafts publicly available! 3 other bill's drafts were not available until around 8PM Saturday night.
The Special Session is taking place on Monday, just 36 hours away (as of writing), and huge pieces of the deal remain hidden. Action 4 Liberty previously reported that legislative leaders plan to steamroll all 14 bills through both chambers on Monday by asking legislators not to speak or give amendments on the floor! Aside from trying to block legislators from legislating, legislative leaders are also leaving the public and their caucuses completely in the dark!
Since the GOP controls the Speakership and shared-majority in the House, one might expect transparency on all bills that are given House File designations. However, the House has more bills that are not publicly available for the special session than what is available! As per the Uniparty agreement, 9 of the 14 bills will be House Files. Of the 9 bills, 7 are unfinalized drafts and 2 of which are still total mysteries (modifying free healthcare for illegal aliens and data center bills)!
A Senate webpage lists out the available omnibus bill drafts for the Special Session which can be viewed here. As per the Uniparty agreement, 5 of the 14 bills will be Senate Files. Of the 5 bills, 4 have public drafts of the bill. Like the House Files, none of these bills have final versions of the bill publicly available.
As seen on the website cited, there is no mention of the three non-omnibus bills for the special session listed in the Uniparty agreement which includes a data center bill, a technical revisor corrections bill, and a bill “Modifying MinnesotaCare for Undocumented Adults”. To make sure we check all pockets of the MN Legislative website, we went to the MN House Bill Information webpage under the ‘94th Legislature, 2025 First Special Session’ search result only to find no bills listed! Bills will eventually be listed on that webpage, but for the time being, we do not get to know the contents of bills set to pass in just a few days. See below:
The debate surrounding illegal aliens receiving free, taxpayer-funded healthcare has been a major point of contention with very little transparency. Action 4 Liberty has stayed vigilant on this question and reported when RINO Speaker Lisa Demuth began to flip flop on the question and adopting language such as “undocumented Minnesotans” when talking about criminal illegal aliens in our state. A4L then reported that the new plan from the Uniparty was to remove the policy proposal from the Health omnibus bill for a stand-alone vote.
Drafts are not final versions and the the small conglomeration of power in Walz, Demuth, Hortman, Murphy, and Johnson can still change WHATEVER they want in these bills.
This stand-alone vote could lead to Democrats not providing the votes or Walz choosing to veto. On the other hand, since the public has no access to the legislation, we have no idea if it truly will eliminate all funding for illegal alien free healthcare. Considering the title of the bill uses the word “modifying” instead of “eliminating”, skepticism must always remain high when dealing with corrupt politicians.
As always, A4L will continue to hold our government accountable by keeping Patriots informed. Corruption must be exposed and A4L will never hold back the truth. The corrupt deal struck by Walz, Lisa Demuth, Melissa Hortman, Erin Murphy, and Mark Johnson will be remembered not for ‘bipartisanship’ but instead for a crooked Uniparty silencing legislators in order to pass the 2nd largest budget in Minnesota history.
NOTE - Since publishing, a few supposed final versions of bills are listed on this House page. As previously noted, leadership could unilaterally still change these bills.
