The issue of redistricting has become a major political battle across the country due to Republicans combatting long-standing Democrat gerry-mandering. In states across the country, Republicans are not winning an equal amount of congressional representation as their statewide voter percentage. For just one example, Trump won over 36% of the vote in 2024 in Massachusetts yet all 9 of their Congressional seats (and two Senators) are far-left liberals! That is happening in blue states across the country.

Republicans are beginning to realize that when you have power, you’d be a fool to let it go to waste. GOP Governors and state legislatures have been introducing new congressional district maps in order to combat Democrat gerrymandering. With the 2026 midterms coming up, Republicans are looking for prevent Democrat control of Congress. As many know, the party in control of the White House typically comes out on the losing end of midterms.

In the Republican controlled state of Indiana, a Republican intra-party battle has exploded and is gaining national attention. In short, a contingency of RINO legislators opposed the Republican’s plan for redistricting, effectively blocking any chance for the plan to pass. This is getting pushback across the country and from many prominent conservative voices including the Vice President of the United States. See examples below:

Minnesota Republicans should take a valuable lesson away from the pressure campaign that is being mounted in Indiana: It is a good thing to pressure Republicans when they are not fighting for the interests of conservatives! If there is no push-back in the GOP, the party will stand for absolutely nothing!

As seen in previous A4L reporting, this mentality is growing and was even showcased by former Trump Press Secretary Sean Spicer on the issue of funding Planned Parenthood. Spicer, like the average conservative, knows that the party must be held accountable to the base that elected them!

MN conservatives are fed up with RINO politicians that fund abortion/Planned Parenthood, seat Democrats like Brad Tabke despite more ballots thrown out than the margin of victory, cutting backroom deals with Walz, or any other garbage RINOs do that shrinks liberty and/or grows government. Action 4 Liberty will continue to be the megaphone of the grassroots and will never waiver in our mission to protect liberty for the next generation.
