MNGOP Email Calls for 'Unified Front' Around Incumbents; Discourages Challenges

The Minnesota Republican Party sent out an email to statewide activists, lecturing them that the "time for infighting is over" and how they must join them in a "unified front" to support Republican incumbents. While there's no doubt the Democrats are showing how bad their agenda is and why they need to suffer at election time, there are plenty of RINOs, or liberal Republicans, who are also advancing the leftist agenda. According to the "geniuses" at the MNGOP, you and I should turn a blind eye.

After 16 years of failing to elect a statewide candidate and a recent election where Republicans lost all branches of government, they are in no position to lecture anyone. Especially when it comes to calling for supporting the same incumbents who continue to FAIL at advancing conservative principles in this state. More importantly, the Party desperately needs NEW PEOPLE and better marketing to be effective in future elections.

No one ever accused MNGOP "leadership" of being smart. Corrupt Chair David Hann has shown he's willing to do what it takes to help the incumbent reelection racket for the Swamp - even if it means the Party remains the status quo. Just last year, he cut off data access for a handful of Republican endorsed, conservative candidates who were primaried by establishment backed challengers.

The call for unity from Establishment Republicans is always a one way street. We either "unify" with their failed policies and failed tactics, or we're the ones creating division. It's never the other way around for them. But that's what is desperately needed - unity around a new, fresh conservative, grassroots movement.
