National Republican Exec. Director: Grassroots is Vital; Can’t Just Install Candidates

President Trump’s historic White House victory paired with GOP majorities in the U.S. Senate and House show a clear mandate from the American people for the America First, MAGA agenda. Trump faced media opposition more than any politician in history yet won more votes than he did in 2016 or 2020 this time around. Voters have rejected the neocon, business as usual establishment starting with Trump’s landslide primary victory, a debate that eliminated Joe Biden from the race, and then he defeated the Democrat propaganda machine yet again with their new puppet Kamala! Now, President Trump has announced a flurry of Cabinet appointments, some of which gives liberty minded Patriots a lot to be excited about!

With these victories in mind, it is clear that the base that got Trump over the finish line was grassroots powered. Establishment candidates who are forced down the throats of voters have proven to be massive failures. This strategy and thinking appears to have permeated into the top ranks of the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC). The Executive Director of the NRSC, Jason Thielman, joined former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer and discussed the importance of candidates being grassroots, in part saying that $600M had been lost over the last 18 years trying to flip Ohio and Montana until they successfully did it this year. He argued that a candidate cannot just be dropped in and then endorsed by Trump and the NRSC and be expected to win, the grassroots has to support the candidate. See below:

If only Globalist RINO Tom Emmer was aware of this critical knowledge! Emmer forced carpetbagger Joe Teirab onto CD2 voters despite many obvious signs he would lose; The first being his lack of connection with the grassroots. Emmer hand-picked Teirab and set up a coordinating fundraising PAC (Emmer Majority Pac). Teirab spent over $2.3M throughout the race (not to mention outside groups). Teirab lost the CD2 endorsing convention in a landslide to Tayler Rahm. Despite Teirab pledging that he would abide by the endorsement, he backtracked and continued on to the primary. Emmer then weaponized the Trump campaign to get Tayler Rahm to QUIT the race and take a phony campaign position for the MN Trump campaign (run by Emmer). Despite being the Republican nominee, CD2 MNGOP refused to endorse Teirab all the way through. Teirab went on to lose to incumbent Democrat Angie Craig by a massive margin. Teirab and company also got a third party “Constitutional Conservative” candidate to drop out even though his name remained on the ballot (their combined totals was still less than Angie Craig’s total).

The NRSC appears to be taking a step in the right direction and allowing the grassroots to steer the future of the GOP. Bad faith actors like Tom Emmer installing puppet candidates like Joe Teirab after clear rejection from the grassroots is a sure-fire way to lose against an entrenched incumbent. If you want to defeat establishment, fake moderate Dems like Angie Craig, you must have a candidate of, by, and for the grassroots! It is the grassroots who decides which candidates win or lose. The populace has spoken and if the GOP does not recognize what voters truly want then they will continue to lose.

The NRSC Chair from the U.S. Senate has changed hands after Sen. Tim Scott (SC) won it unanimously. Previous leader Sen. Steve Daines (MT) did not seek reelection to the post. Daines took the position after Sen. Rick Scott (FL) dropped the ball for the GOP in 2022. Daines previously criticized MNGOP Senate nominee Royce White despite Royce clearly being the grassroots choice and outperforming all previous opponents to Klobuchar. Daines and the NRSC supported unendorsed He/Him RINO Joe Fraser in the primary. In response, Royce White called Daines a RINO, Neocon, and “Mitch McConnell’s b*tch”. On the House side, the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) saw no change in leadership with Rep. Richard Hudson (NC) winning a second term as Chair. Hudson included Teirab in a NRCC “Young Gun candidate” list and helped support his failed candidacy. The first name on the “Young Gun” list, Nancy Dahlstrom, is a 67 year old candidate from Alaska who also lost.

To localize the issue even more we need not look any further than the House Republican Campaign Committee (HRCC) which spent tens of thousands of dollars on behalf of unendorsed incumbent RINOs in deep red districts like Ron Kresha (10A), Greg Davids (26B), and Brian Johnson (28A). The grassroots was narrowly defeated in two of these races but RINO Brian Johnson was retired by his constituents and replaced with a more conservative candidate, Jimmy Gordon. If the HRCC continues to operate as an anti-grassroots, incumbency protection racket then their connection to the base will completely diminish.

The MNGOP and HRCC must heed the advice of the NSRC and embrace the grassroots rather than work against them. If Republicans seriously want to take control of Minnesota they would have to actually fight for the America First agenda that people are craving! These wishy-washy, big government RINOs are the blockade between the party and the grassroots. If you want the grassroots to vote for you, you have to actually represent their interests!
