New Gov Candidate Emerges; Businessman with Ties to RINO Tom Emmer

The crowded GOP primary to take on Tampon Tim continues to grow as Walz’ legacy has become defined by fraud and habitual lying. With Walz having vulnerabilities like plummeting approval numbers, Republicans hold the opportunity to take control if they can motivate the over 1.5M Minnesota Trump voters to turn out and vote again.

A new candidate for Governor has emerged onto the scene named Patrick Knight. As a businessman and political outsider, Knight’s candidacy may draw attention from the grassroots and mainstream media. While lacking name recognition, Knight appears to have led a successful business career and may be able to put his name on the map with big fundraising.

Patrick Knight served in the Marine Corps for more than twenty years and retired as a lieutenant colonel. Knight is the CEO of Waymouth Farms and sells products like organic nuts, seeds, and dried fruit. The company’s Linkedin page states they have 51-200 employees and online estimates of their annual revenue ranges from $15M to $30.5M.

Knight announced his campaign on Thursday, Nov. 6th via a campaign video release. While the video and Knight’s campaign website appear to be a bit bland, predictable, noncontroversial, and milque-toast, conservatives across the state have an appetite for an outsider, non-politician, businessman who can straighten up our state government and Knight will be looking to fill that void. For whatever reason, Knight appears to have deleted his YouTube channel where the video was hosted besides his social media accounts.

Unfortunately for conservatives, it is unclear how conservative he truly is. His campaign website lists his priorities, which are so generic that it could be the platform of any candidate in a swing district of either party and no questions would be raised. According to Knight's FEC records, he has donated to Democrats Dean Phillips’ and Anthony Brown’s congressional campaigns, including donations to both just two days following J6.

Since 2019 to June of 2024, Knight has donated $1,800 to Globalist RINO Tom Emmer’s campaigns. As many know, Tom Emmer has a horrible voting record and has attempted to shape-shift as a MAGA conservative since President Trump’s return to the White House. However, Emmer has been a big government RINO throughout his career and has become one of the ringleaders of the Swamp as the GOP Whip, meaning he holds even more responsibility than most Reps for the innumerable examples of corruption, fraud, and America Last policy passed through Congress. Knight has interestingly also given money to his now-opponent, Kendall Qualls, in Quall’s failed 2020 Congressional campaign and has donated to conservative Congressional candidate Tyler Kistner. It is unclear if these donations were part of doing business or where Knight’s genuine positions are.

Action 4 Liberty will continue providing Patriots with information that they cannot get anywhere else. We will not waiver in our mission to protect liberty for the next generation and will continue being the microphone for the grassroots conservative movement in Minnesota by holding all politicians’ feet to the fire and protecting our Rights enshrined in the Constitution.

Let’s hear Mr. Knight out. It’s all very well to say you stand for “Truth, Justice and the American Way,” but these days, we have to ask what you mean by that. What are the principles by which Mr. Knight will govern? In particular, where will he draw the line of where government should not be involved? How will he reduce the per capita cost of government? Minnesota state and local government is among the most expensive in the country, even surpassing Illinois. What will he do to defend Minnesota’s women and children from the abortion and gender-quack businesses, and how will he explain the moral necessity of doing so? This is just a start of the questions we should ask our gubernatorial candidates.
