RINO Wayne Johnson Considers Ridiculous Governor Campaign

While Tyrant Tim Walz has not yet announced a third term re-election bid, all signs seem to point that he will do so. This presents a unique moment for Republicans in finding a challenger following Walz’ humiliating debate and campaign performance as the VP candidate for Kamala. A strong Republican challenger could mount a serious challenge to Walz, instead, RINO Wayne Johnson (41A) appears to be considering a ridiculous run for Governor.

Johnson has posted a few things on social media that would seemingly indicate that he is considering a run for Governor, if not openly floating it. See below:

RINO Wayne Johnson is one of the most liberal, big government Republicans in the MN legislature. He has been a consistent vote for the Establishment and has lied repeatedly when confronted over his vote to oppose the Never Again Bill on the House floor. In response, Action 4 Liberty organized a successful Day of Action in Johnson’s district to inform his constituents that he voted to sideline an anti-lockdown, anti-mandate, pro-freedom bill. Seeing all the pictures of Johnson posted wearing useless masks, his opposition to the Never Again Bill is no surprise!

Lying has become a standard practice for Johnson following the 2024 41A GOP endorsing convention. Johnson pledged to abide by the endorsement before the convention and even sent an email to delegates following the convention that he would not run. See below:

Johnson then abandoned the GOP and planned to run as an Independent, which would almost certainly cause the GOP to lose in this swing district. Considering the district’s Senate seat was lost by less than 1% of the vote thanks to RINO Tony Jergens endorsed radical leftist Judy Seeberger over conservative Tom Dippel. Johnson is friends with Jurgens and was clearly considering a path to also destroy the GOP’s chance of victory. See below:

Sources tell A4L Wayne Johnson would not commit to vote for Trump after he became the Republican presidential nominee.

While Establishment RINOs might feel comfortable with Qualls for Governor (despite the mailing issue with his campaign and the MNGOP), one reason Johnson may be hesitant to back him is because Qualls endorsed Wayne’s GOP primary opponent, Grayson McNew. This could explain for why Johnson is not backing Qualls and floating himself as an option, see below:

As we’ve previously reported, former MNGOP Chair RINO David Hann is considering a run for Governor. Wayne Johnson will give Hann some serious competition in determining which campaign is more clownish!

Walz has become increasingly unpopular and did not look good when testifying to Congress about Minnesota being a sanctuary state for illegal aliens. While KSTP and their poll numbers on Walz should be viewed skeptically, Walz will be a tough opponent and conservatives will have to have a candidate capable of unifying grassroots conservatives behind their message which RINOs David Hann and Wayne Johnson would have no chance in doing!

UPDATE: Since publishing our article, Wayne Johnson has took to social media to say he will not run because he does not think conservative delegates statewide can endorse someone "electable"! Johnson is openly opposing the endorsing process! See below:

Action 4 Liberty will keep Patriots informed as the race develops with more candidates. Potential candidates are listed in previous A4L reporting. See all announced candidates below.

Announced candidates:

Democrat - none

GOP - Kendall Qualls, Phil Parrish, Brad Kohler, and former Saint Cloud city councilman Jeff Johnson (no relation to previous GOP Governor candidate Jeff Johnson)

Independent - Adam Kedrowski

Independence-Alliance Party - Christopher Seymore
