When radical leftists like Tim Walz, Keith Ellison, and Ilhan Omar have power, they use it to its fullest extent to impose their Socialist agenda. They do not care what the public thinks and they do not care how dishonest they are in defending it. Democrats have shown that when given power, they bring sweeping change for the worse. When Republicans are given power, they cave to the left and maintain the corrupt status quo.

Democrats are driving Minnesota the wrong direction at 100 miles per hour. Republicans are driving Minnesota the same direction, only slower. This couldn’t have been made any more obvious than in Tim Walz’ ridiculous, final State of the State speech on 4/28/26. Anyone who thinks they can stomach the full speech can view it here.

In Walz’ speech, he flaunted that the impacts he has made will last decades. This is true; The culture of waste, fraud, abuse, and Socialism was not established overnight and it will take a methodical strategy to return Minnesota to normalcy. Unfortunately, the GOP has failed to hold Walz and radical Democrats accountable despite controlling the State House.

With 67 votes in the House, the GOP can block any and all leftist policies. Instead, the GOP, under the leadership of Lisa Demuth, passed the 2nd LARGEST budget in Minnesota history. This budget funded unprecedented levels of fraud and gave budget increases to Keith Ellison and woke groups like the LGBTQIA2S+ Council.

Fraud was well known. Action 4 Liberty suggested during budget negotiations that the GOP play hard-ball, shut down Walz’ government, and force Democrats to shrink government and repeal their radical policies. This is basic political logic: You must use every tactic at your disposal when battling politically with radical leftists.

This year, RINOs have backstabbed their constituents and supporters by partnering with Democrats to pass unconstitutional gun control. Conservative voters who put Republicans in office are getting nothing in return for their votes, in fact, they are getting things that they do not want. Additionally, Demuth has continued meeting with Tim Walz in closed-door, private meetings to negotiate how deep they will put our state in debt with an unnecessary bonding bill.

The GOP is set to help Democrats pass supplemental budgets through unconstitutional omnibus bills, which means wasting away even more of your money! They do NOT have to do this!

The GOP politicians in Minnesota need a wake-up call. Democrats are using and abusing the government and most Republican politicians won’t fight back. Minnesota taxpayers are being taken advantage of by big government Socialists on both sides of the aisle. 

Republican House members have done NOTHING to excite the conservative base.  This WILL result in a DFL Trifecta in 2027.  Of course Republican politicians will try to blame real conservatives for their electoral losses.  But the reality is that GOP politicians have failed to deliver for their base once again and their base will stay home this November unless something changes and changes fast.  It's time the politicians look inward and realize their inevitable losses are their own fault.

Action 4 Liberty is popular among grassroots conservatives because we are unwilling to waiver in the fight for liberty. Lip service is not enough, Constitutional Patriots are demanding the GOP take action. A4L will continue leading the conservative movement in MN and provide Patriots with liberty-based reporting that cannot be found anywhere else.
