Fmr. MN Sen. Majority Leader Admits They Just Say Things to get Elected

Conservative voters are often disillusioned by politics once they discover that Republicans often do nothing to fight for their interests once they get elected. Grassroots Patriots are sick and tired of promises from crony politicians that never pan out.

A greater example couldn’t exist more than Paul Gazelka. Despite residing in a safe red district, Gazelka continually caved to the Democrats, grew government, refused to hold Walz and other Democrats accountable on Covid era tyranny, and let conservatives down. As Senate Majority Leader, Gazelka proposed a budget that increased state spending by a whopping $4.2B or a 9% increase, increased AG Antifa Keith Ellison’s budget by $8M or a 17% increase, and pushed a FAKE bill on ending Walz’ Emergency Powers that would’ve ensured a lose/lose scenario.

As we have previously reported, Gazelka attempted to stay relevant with Kamala’s selection of Walz as VP by writing a book to grift himself as some kind of fighter against Walz! Gazelka has now admitted another truth about politics; Republicans just say things to get elected and don’t actually intend on governing as the grassroots wants! See his post on X below:

Gazelka is suggesting that even when Republicans are in a majority, they will not perform well with a liberty score because you need to govern with Democrats. Gazelka is using the budget fight in DC as an example for his thinking, which perfectly highlights his swampy instincts.

The United States is in massive debt and we continue toward the point of no return thanks to corrupt politicians robbing our country’s future away. A true conservative would never vote to raise the debt ceiling or pass legislation via massive multi-subject continuing resolution, omnibus bills but only 34 Represenatives opposed the bill. While the original budget bill was much worse, pressure from Elon Musk led to a shortened, less spendy bill. This is proof that pressure works but the deal did not satisfy the needs of the American people. If a government shutdown is the only way to prevent our country from going further in debt, conservatives should flex that muscle. While Don Jr. and the Trump camp argue that this budget deal is the best that could be struck, principled conservatives should always put the People first, not their own political interests.

Interestingly, all of MN’s Congressional delegation from Emmer to Ilhan to Stauber to Angie Craig, voted in favor of the debt-ridden deal because they all seemingly get some benefit out of the swamp staying open.

Paul Gazelka admits the quiet part out loud, politicians do not care what you think and will do whatever they think will keep them in office. The grassroots must remind politicians that if they do not fight for their interests, they will fight to replace them.
