There are an estimated 20 million semi-automatic weapons in our country. There are an estimated 717 million firearm magazines that hold ten rounds of ammunition or larger in the U.S.

Banning semi-automatic weapons and large capacity magazines is unconstitutional and turns law abiding citizens into criminals. This far left policy has been gaining ground among Democrats and it is now advancing through the state legislature.

SF3655 is an unconstitutional, anti-gun piece of legislation that would send Minnesotans to prison for owning a semi-automatic firearm or a magazine that holds more than ten rounds. This bill appeared in front of the Senate Judiciary and Public Safety Committee on Friday, March 13th and was advanced to the Senate Finance Committee by a party line vote.

Another bill, SF3836, makes certain data of firearm permit holders available publicly. This is a violation of Minnesotans’ 2nd and 4th Amendment Rights yet Democrats advanced the bill to the Senate floor in a party line vote. Several other gun control bills also appeared before the committee. Swing district Democrat Judy Seeberger (SD41) sits on the Judiciary Committee and votes like every other deranged leftist Democrat on the committee for any vote of substance. Despite pretending to be a blue-dog moderate, Judy Seeberger has done the bidding of the big government, leftist Establishment her entire political career and voted with Democrats on all gun control bills in Friday’s committee meeting.

By voting for radical gun control, Seeberger is voting to illegitimately turn some of her law-abiding constituents into criminals. Seeberger is constantly supporting far-left policies in a district that she won by just 321 votes in 2022. Now that she is up for reelection, Seeberger’s fake moderate image is a tougher sell. Seeberger endorsed radical Socialist Omar Fateh for Minneapolis Mayor, voted to allow transgender mutilation for kids of any age, passed a bill that protected pedophiles in the MN Human Rights Act, and voted in lockstep with Democrats on fraud-ridden spending and far-left policies. 

Judy Seeberger is no moderate. She is a gun-grabbing leftist tyrant and her latest actions on gun control prove that thoroughly. 

Republican Tom Dippel is now the State Representative for district 41B and is running against Seeberger in a rematch for the Senate seat this year. RINO Tony Jurgens backstabbed the GOP and endorsed Democrat Judy Seeberger in 2022, which has given the Democrats a one vote majority.
