After having his worst electoral performance in his seven Congressional runs, Globalist RINO Tom Emmer now faces a conservative challenger for the GOP Whip position in Congress.

Emmer has rebranded himself since Trump’s second term. As seen in previous A4L reporting, Tom Emmer founded the Somali Caucus in Congress with radical socialist Keith Ellison. He further worked with Ellison and Amy Klobuchar to send American dollars to Somalia, which was funneled to terrorist group Al-Shabaab. When Emmer tried to become Speaker of the House in 2023, President Trump labeled him a Globalist RINO and blocked him from winning. More recently, Trump trolled Tom Emmer by saying he is a "big fan of Somalia".

Despite red state redistricting of Congressional maps, Republicans faced devastating losses around the country and lost the Majority. The House will be controlled by Democrats and some Congressional Republicans believe new leadership is needed to correct course.

Emmer currently holds the GOP Whip position and is seeking reelection to that role. The job of the Whip is to twist the arms of their party’s members to vote as they are told by the Establishment. Emmer has used the Whip role to force Republicans to block the release of the Epstein Files, pass continuing resolutions under Joe Biden that increase the national debt, and spend $175 Billion for the Ukraine War. 

Tom Emmer has allowed Establishment RINO party bosses to determine how the GOP votes instead of doing what the Republican base elected them to do.

Texas Congressman August Pfluger has announced that he will challenge Tom Emmer for the Whip position. Pfluger is the current chair of the Republican Study Committee, a conservative group that fights to shrink government and lower taxes. Pfluger is a Colonel in the Air Force Reserve, was a National Security Council advisor for President Trump, and was first elected to Congress in 2020.

One key vote where Pfluger and Emmer voted differently was the certification of Joe Biden in 2020. Pfluger voted to block the certification of Arizona and Pennsylvania while Tom Emmer voted to certify Joe Biden. Despite the widespread examples of election fraud, Emmer sided with Democrats to let Sleepy Joe destroy our country for four years.

Pfluger has focused his run for Whip on how new leadership is needed and how Republicans missed many opportunities, including stopping welfare fraud. As the Chair of the Republican Study Committee, Pfluger has experience developing Republican legislative priorities and would seemingly push the GOP House caucus to the right if elected.

The Whip position is not the only leadership spot up for grabs. Mike Johnson has announced that he does not intend to run for GOP Minority Leader. Two individuals who have previously sought the job, Jim Jordan and Steve Scalise, have both announced that they will run. Scalise will be the choice of Establishment RINOs while Jordan will be the choice of the more conservative members of Congress.

After the GOP faced big losses nationwide, it has become apparent that the RINO Establishment’s agenda is not popular with the grassroots. Conservative voters are demanding that Republican politicians actually represent their interests. The Uniparty does not want conservatives to capture power but it is the only way Republicans will ever have a chance again.

The House GOP caucus is scheduled to elect their new leadership on Tuesday, November 10th.
