Big Money Koch Brothers Network Announce Support for War Hawk Nikki Haley

The Koch funded political organization, Americans for Prosperity Action, is getting heavily involved in the presidential race and supporting war hawk Nikki Haley.

In a press release, AFP Action writes:

As many of you know, AFP Action has never engaged in a presidential election before, but as we said in February, to write a new chapter for our country, we need to turn the page on the past. Donald Trump and Joe Biden will only further perpetuate the country’s downward spiral in politics. Furthermore, a significant majority of voters want somebody new. The American people have shown they’re ready to move on from the current political era, so AFP Action will help them do that.

The release further states that their pick in "somebody new" is Nikki Haley:

Nikki Haley is a far cry from representing change in Washington D.C. She's a career politician who has served as a State Representative, Governor, Ambassador to the United Nations and most recently, a Board Member of major defense contractor, Boeing.

But most concerning is her hawkish stance on global politics and her position on support and American tax dollar aide to proxy wars in Ukraine and Israel. She most notably uttered "this was not just an attack on Israel, this was an attack on America."

Inflation Takes its Toll with 73% Saying They're Experiencing 'Financial Stress'

If rising prices are hurting your family and causing stress as we enter the Christmas season, you are not alone. According to a new survey published by Empower, a financial services company, 73% of the 2,034 respondents said they are experiencing "financial stress."

Rising prices of goods and services is not some natural phenomenon with an unknown origin. Our federal government has run up record budget deficits by recklessly spending on wasteful government projects. And when we were hit with the COVID pandemic, politicians believed we could spend our way out of disaster.

The large spending in Washington did not come directly from taxes though. Politicians turned to the Federal Reserve Bank and its printing press to create new money out of thin air and buy up our government's debt. Inflating the money supply, devalues the dollar, because there's now more money in our economy without an equal increase in the supply of goods and services. That puts upward pressure on prices.

The government's inflation policies were a hidden tax on the American people and it was about a 20% hit to our bottom line over the last four years.

The Empower survey found that a third of respondents said a "relatively attainable gain of $15,000 would make a meaningful impact in their lives." Using an inflation calculator, if a family made $75,000 in 2019, they would need to make $90,259, or roughly $15,000 more, to have the same standard of living today. Although, the real number is likely worse since the government's measure of inflation takes out the rise in food and fuel prices.

If we want to get out of this terrible economic situation, government has to shrink, eliminate the deficit and start paying down the debt.

Legislators' Office Building to Cost Over $700 Million - Is this a Scam?

Politicians are going to get a very expensive makeover to their office building, at a price WAY higher than similar projects. The State Office Building on the Capitol grounds is where members of the Minnesota House have their office. The building also hosts the Secretary of State's administrative office and has committee rooms. But politicians say it's outdated and want taxpayers to renovate it for them.

The renovation is coming at a cost of $498 Million with an additional $200 Million or more in private financing (interest) for the project. Which means this building is going to cost taxpayers a whopping $700 Million.

We spoke to an expert in building construction and renovations and found out that new construction on a government building is about $591 per square foot. The State Office Building is 290,136 sqft currently, and there will be an additional 166,000 sq ft added in the project. That means new construction of a building would be $270 Million - a figure less than half of what's being done.

With roughly 2.5 million taxpayers in Minnesota, the cost for politicians' new luxury office building is $280 per taxpayer. And there's only 134 members in the Minnesota House, so that means it costs taxpayers more than $5 million to house one legislator.

All of this comes at a time where prices are skyrocketing and hurting families due to inflation. We're also seeing property taxes rise significantly in the twin cities area. Plus, Democrats just raised taxes on gas, license tabs, sales and deliveries.

We have to ask...with this project being so costly and being privately financed, is this some sort of scam against Minnesotans? How could this project cost us this much money?!

Walz Proclaims November 20th 'Transgender Day of Remembrance" in Minnesota

Governor Walz continues to get things wrong on the biggest social issues of the day. Most notably, he signed a bill into law that allows a child to receive irreversible hormone treatments or genital mutilation surgeries against the wishes of a parent.

Now Walz has proclaimed November 20th as "Transgender Day of Remembrance." The new day is aimed at "celebrat[ing] our family, friends and neighbors who identify as transgender, non-binary, gender non-conforming and two spirits."

Here's his tweet:

When Walz was elected, many thought he would govern as a moderate Democrat. But he's been the most destructive, polarizing, radical leftist Governor in Minnesota's history.

Xcel's Green Energy Project Skyrockets to $1.14 Billion; Customers to Pay for It

It looks like we have a glimpse of the first real costs of Governor Walz and Democrats' reckless "Carbon Free 2040" bill. There's a proposed project to build power lines from southern Minnesota's wind turbine and solar panel fields and run it up to the retiring Sherco Coal plant to feed the Twin Cities power grid. According to the Star Tribune the price tag just doubled to $1.14 Billion.

According to Xcel's website, the project helps with the companies plan to reduce carbon by 2030 and be completely carbon free by 2050. Of course, the Democrat's passed a bill this year that MANDATES power companies supply carbon free energy by the year 2040. This bill passed with no scientific data that shows what impact that costly move will have on local or global temperatures.

Here's a map of the project:

As the Sherco coal plants begin to shut down and come off line, Xcel plans on putting in solar panels at the site. All these costs, as one can imagine, will inevitably be passed onto the customer. Yet another way government has increased the cost of living for Minnesota families.

INSULT! Walz Gov't Recognized as 'Evidence Based' Leader by Nat'l Governor's Association

The National Governors Association and a group called Results for America recognized Minnesota's state government as a leader in using "evidence and data to guide decision-making." I guess everyone really does get a trophy these days!

What an insult to Minnesotans who have seen the lack of evidence being used to guide decision making of the biggest decisions under Walz' tenure. Walz infamously, and illegally, shut down Minnesota's economy and locked us in our homes despite no evidence suggesting it would stop COVID. Ever since the rollout of the experimental jabs, Walz has pushed for citizens to roll up their sleeves even though there was evidence available to suggest the vaccines had adverse effects and don't stop the spread of COVID.

Once Democrats took over the entire state government in 2023, key decisions were made that impacted our lives that were clearly not evidence based. For instance, Walz signed into law a bill that requires all of Minnesota's power to be produced by renewable sources by the year 2040. There's no evidence that that monstrous transition will do anything to change temperatures in Minnesota or the rest of the world.

Even more alarming, Walz and Democrats passed a bill that allows children as young as 6 to be given hormone treatments or genital mutilation surgery against the wishes of a parent. They passed this law with growing evidence that subjecting a child to gender treatments has a devastating impact when they get older and no longer identify with the opposite gender.

If anything, Walz and his cohorts in the state government should be given the award for "Governing by Emotions;" not for leading by evidence based decision-making. What a joke!

The Crony Spending Bill that Congress Just Passed to Avert Gov't Shutdown

In his first real test as Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson resorted to the old tactics of kicking the can down the road to address our country's looming debt problem. Last night, his Continuing Resolution (CR) garnered support from nearly all Democrats and a slim majority of Republicans.

Think for a second - what kind of conservative leadership gains support of the radicalized Congressional Democrats??? It's very obvious that Johnson's Continuing Resolution does nothing to limit the size and scope of the behemoth federal government.

What H.R. 6363 does do is fund the bloated federal government at the same unsustainable levels until early next year. The I.R.S. is still fully funded. Planned Parenthood continues getting our tax money. And every other objectionable, fraudulent or unconstitutional program is still getting federal funding.

We're currently running a whopping $1.7 Trillion budget deficit, which is being financed by more money printing. This is a HUGE PROBLEM! Here's why...

Congress' reckless spending is having a devastating affect on American families. The rising prices of consumer goods is a direct result of the federal government adding trillions upon trillions of dollars in new debt in the last three years. The Federal Reserve has purchased that debt with newly printed money, which causes inflation and is an indirect tax on you and me.

We knew this money printing operation was going to lead to higher prices and wrote about it on March 18th, 2020.

Failing to balance a budget and running massive budget deficits have REAL consequences for American households. Democrats do not care at all about this problem, even though this policy most adversely impacts the poor and elderly. The latter are on fixed income and can't keep up with inflation.

This problem isn't just some manufactured right wing conspiracy, as the elitists will have you believe. Moody's just downgraded the credit rating of the United States from "stable" to "negative!"

Johnson's CR had 93 Republicans voting against it. Some of the most vocal conservative members of the Freedom Caucus criticized the bill because it contained "no spending reductions, no border security, and not a single meaningful win for the American people."

There is a solution, but the attitudes in Washington D.C. MUST CHANGE rapidly. Our federal government has to be cut, and not by a little, but by a lot. Balancing the budget would stop the future debt load that is costing us nearly a trillion dollars a year to finance. That's bigger than our entire military spending! The reduction of government would likely unleash huge economic growth and lead to higher revenues that would help pay down the debt with budget surpluses.

If we don't fix this issue now, we're heading for a situation where the financing of our debt will lead to either a default or an unsustainable money printing operation that will lead to hyperinflation. Neither option is good.

It's time to put America First!

New Face - Steve Boyd Launches Republican Primary Challenge to Rep Fischbach

A competitive primary race has emerged for Minnesota's deep red 7th Congressional District. Business owner Steve Boyd launched his campaign recently to a crowd of 200 gatherers in Alexandria.

He's seeking the seat currently held by Rep Michelle Fischbach, who first won it in 2020. Although claiming to be a conservative, Fischbach has been a career politician and voted for countless unconstitutional omnibus bills while serving in the MN Senate. Her lifetime score with us was an F (50%).

In his press release, Boyd argues that we don't need politicians in Washington D.C. voting for "business as usual." I had a chance to chat with Steve Boyd to learn more about his run for Congress.

Boyd told me his campaign will have a "difference in focus" than Fischbach's. "There’s been business as usual, go along to get along, we have to have people who are willing to choose principle over party, over politics, and address the more pressing issues" said Boyd.

Steve Boyd is a small business owner, doing lawn maintenance and fertilizing in the Alexandria area. He's married and has five children, including three who were adopted. Those adoptions led him to working with a non-profit called Safe Families for Children.

He's also a "constitution coach" for Patriot Academy that teaches youth about our founding principles. Which seems to be a good fit for Boyd, a patriotic, Christian who homeschools his children.

Boyd see this campaign as an opportunity to be a "liberty catalyst" for the 7th District. "I’m not going out asking for money and a vote, we’re going to be asking people to step into a committed role of citizenship" said Boyd. "I won’t go around promising that I alone can change everything for them as a Congressman. We need people taking the power back in their hands so the politicians don't have it."

RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel Rigging GOP Primary, Vivek Calls Out Her Lie

Grassroots conservatives undoubtedly want a fair primary system by the Republican Party, instead of backroom deals and rigged rules. Our own MAGA Jesse recently reported how the RNC rigged the debates against Perry Johnson and Larry Elder. Now it appears RNC Chairwoman, and niece of Mitt Romney, Ronna McDaniel is doing her best to stop the surge of outsider Vivek Ramaswamy.

In his opening remarks on Wednesday night's third GOP debate, Vivek called for the resignation of McDaniel. Recent interviews with Ramaswamy has given us a closer look into the reason for that statement. He alleges she not only has a record of losing since her tenure began in 2017, but she's also rigging the primary for the donor class' preferred candidates.

One example offered by Ramaswamy is that he was told he wouldn't be allowed to attend a debate if he did a non-RNC sanctioned forum with Chris Christie on Fox News. Yet, Ron DeSantis is scheduled to debate Gavin Newsom on Fox News later this month outside of the RNC sanctioned debates.

Following the debate, Ronna McDaniel went on Fox Business and lied about Vivek voting for Barack Obama - a statement that certainly would make many in the GOP question Vivek's conservative bonafides if true.

According to Vivek, Ronna was booing him during the debate which he equated to a ref choosing sides in a game. Her job is to stay neutral.

TimCast reports that McDaniel was overheard saying Vivek won't get "one cent" from the RNC.

We have a breakdown of the third debate below and how Vivek did a great job exposing the WWIII warmongers on the stage.

MN Supreme Court Dismissed Case Against Trump Ballot Removal; BUT Could Bring it Back

The Minnesota Supreme Court just dismissed the petition to remove Donald trump from the primary ballot in Minnesota. We wrote last week about the court hearing and the questionable legal representation on the Trump side by the Secretary of State and MNGOP.

This case focused on the 14th Amendment's language that bars someone from holding office who engaged in an insurrection. The subjectivity of that issue complicated the Supreme Court's ability to make a ruling, which would ultimately end up at the U.S. Supreme Court.

Also, the Court's opinion is that the law does not preclude a political party from nominating someone in their internal primary who is ineligible.

Despite this good news, the justices allowed this case to be brought back up when dealing with the general election ballot. If they were to rule on that matter in favor of barring Trump to be on the ballot, Trump would only be able to win by a successful write-in campaign.
