Socialist activists took to the streets on Monday to both celebrate Minnesota’s far-left agenda success, while also demanding more out of the Democrat Trifecta in St. Paul. They took their march to Lake Street in Minneapolis. 

Independent journalist Rebecca Brannon shared pictures and videos on Twitter which showed the far-left crowd obstructing motorists. Some protestors can be seen carrying communist flags, while others carry signs with slogans such as “trans rights are human rights” and “fund abortion, not fake clinics.”

Brannon reported that many protestors demanded passage of the “NorthStar Act,” which would make Minnesota a sanctuary state for illegal aliens. 

Also present at the protests were BLM marshals, who illegally blocked off roads for the protests. These are the same style of instigators that participated in the 2020 George Floyd riots.

There’s no official headcount, but it seems as though hundreds of protestors took to the streets to demand more of their legislators. This only goes to show how ravenous the far-left can get, even when Minnesota has never seen such crazy legislation ever passed into law.

Emails revealed to the StarTribune show that the Minnesota National Guard was ready to deploy in response to the 2020 George Floyd Riots nearly 12 hours before rioters burned the Minneapolis Police Precinct to the ground. Their reporting is based on emails obtained through the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).

The 2020 riots were sparked by the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis, and involved weeks of severe civil unrest in the Twin Cities. The riots began on May 25th, days before 500 guardsmen were activated in response to the collapse of Minneapolis’ Third Police Precinct on May 28th.

According to emails from the Pentagon, the National Guard was ready to be deployed by 8:30 on May 28th. Police were ordered to surrender Minneapolis’ Third Police Precinct by 10pm that day, allowing it to burn down through the following morning. Only then, did Walz call for the Guard’s help. By the time the guardsmen arrived at 4am, most of the rioters went home and the Third Precinct had been burning for hours.

The StarTribune also reported that Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey asked for the Guard to be deployed on May 27th, though Walz “did not say yes.”

Governor Walz’s complete lack of inaction until the last possible minute cost the city of Minneapolis millions of dollars in damages while driving small business owners out of the city (and out of the state). 

If Minnesotans did not flee thanks to restrictive COVID-19 lockdowns, sloppy leadership from Minnesota’s Commander in Chief sure did not encourage people to stay. 

The Pride of Treasure Coast, a gay pride organization in Florida, has announced that their annual “Pride Fest” will be cancelled this year due to a new law that prohibits the participation of children in drag shows.

This new law does a few things. Most notably, it prohibits individuals under 21 from being present at drag events.

Before the bill was even signed on April 20th, The Pride of Treasure Coast announced that they would be canceling their pride event. This was certainly not a coincidence, as they cite the Florida bill as the reason for their cancellation. 

“After multiple meetings with city officials, it is with a heavy heart that Pride Alliance of the Treasure Coast has to announce that this weekend’s Pridefest will now be a 21 and older event. The city has decided that with the likelihood that the Governor will sign the latest bill into effect this evening, that we will need to be on the side of caution and has required us to make this necessary change.  We are obviously upset and dishearten that it has come to this. We also regret to announce that we will have to cancel our plans to bring back our beloved parade.”

The event was previously set to take place on April 22nd. According to the group’s Facebook page, the group has since disbanded. 

It would be funny if it weren’t so shocking. By canceling their pride event, they all but admit that their sole intention for these events is to attract young people. Yet, the Left will continue to claim it is right-wing fear-mongering.

Do not let your guard down. Many of these LGBT organizations and politicians are coming for your kids.

Governor Tim Walz signed Rep. Leigh Finke’s HF146 into law on Wednesday, which officially designates Minnesota as a sanctuary state for child genital mutilation surgeries.

This means that a disgruntled parent can drag their child to Minnesota for irreversible surgeries and hormone treatments with no repercussions. The state will not recognize court orders or wishes from the other parent in this regard.

Meanwhile, Minnesota’s neighbors have taken strong stands to protect children from genital mutilation. Iowa, South Dakota, and North Dakota have all banned genital mutilation for minors. This means that many deranged parents will be coming to Minnesota to abuse their children.

Last night, Leigh Finke and other radical leftists at the Capitol tried to sneak pro-pedophilia language into the Omnibus Judiciary policy bill (HF447) and hoped nobody would notice. This would change the Human Rights Act of Minnesota.

This language was from the “Take Pride Act” (HF1655) and removes the section in statute that states “Sexual orientation does not include a physical or sexual attachment to children by an adult.” Additionally, gender identity now has a woke definition that suggests that anyone can identify as a man, woman, or neither! The House GOP took note of this blatant support and judicial cover of pedophiles by Democrats and proposed an Amendment to fix it. Representative Harry Niska (HD31A) proposed the A5 Amendment which provided a new section of law that reestablished the language that adults with a physical or sexual attachment to kids is not a sexual orientation. This Amendment was adopted unanimously by a vote of 126-0 as Democrats could not defend pedophilia publicly. Had this Amendment not been passed, a court could potentially have bought the evil sexual narrative of a pedophile! A major bullet was dodged, but we can never forget where Finke and others' real intentions lie. 

Contact your Senator and tell them to oppose this woke bill! The gender language is still in the bill and we cannot allow nonsense to go into our state statutes! In this backwards world, we need to defend truth, liberty, and justice!

No, this is not 1984. It’s worse; Democrat-controlled 2023. 

Minnesota Democrats successfully snuck a provision into the Minnesota Public Safety Omnibus bill (HF2890/SF2909) that would create their bias reporting system that was debated earlier this year. Action 4 Liberty first called this out in January.

This provision empowers the Commissioner of Human Rights to collect data on “bias reports” throughout the state, and assemble it into a database that is available to law enforcement. Instances of bias include “perceived race, color, ethnicity, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity,gender expression, age, national origin, or disability.”

Representative Vang, the author of this provision, was asked on Wednesday night if the author of an article on the origins of COVID-19 would be put into this database. Here was her response:

"It can be considered a bias incident."

It’s becoming clear that this is not about “bias,” but really about questioning the mainstream narrative. The second that you disagree with the mainstream media narrative, you get put on a watch list.

Do not be surprised when Democrats seek to escalate this further and try to segregate those with perceived “bias” from society. They almost got away with it with the vaccine mandates during the pandemic. Do not think for a second that they will not try again. 

Election integrity Patriots should be very concerned because a crony, corrupt election bill (SF1362) was passed through the State Senate. This bill tells voters that our state’s ten electoral votes will not go to the candidate who won the most votes in Minnesota, it will go to whichever candidate has the most votes nationwide! Our electoral votes would be subject to election fraud, rigging, and cheating happening in all states!

The way we elect the President of the United States is a long-standing piece of American history, one that the Democrats are seeking to destroy. 15 states and the District of Columbia have signed onto the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact for a total of 195 electoral votes/36.2% of the electoral votes. 270 electoral votes are needed for this to go into effect nationwide. This bill also adds all types of new language into laws that seek to limit the political speech of groups like us and Patriots like you. Our right to petition, report, and question the Government shall not be impeded upon!

Additionally, this bill gives unilateral power to corrupt MNGOP Chair David Hann and evil Democrat Chair Ken Martin to certify local party units and their leadership. This could lead to puppet BPOUs becoming recognized by the party instead of the legitimate BPOU. There have been several BPOUs in our state that have been in conflict with the state party. In the case of Kittson County, David Hann and his fellow swamp creatures continue to refuse recognition of the BPOU and even kept their delegates from voting at the GOP State Central Committee Meeting! Today the MN House passed radical gun control (SF2909) that infringes on the Second Amendment Right of law-abiding Minnesotans.

Red flag laws and mandatory background checks for all firearm sales and transfers will be the law of the land if this passes the state Senate and is signed by Tyrant Tim Walz. Today was the second day of debate for this radical bill in the House and it was met with lots of challenge and Amendments from the GOP.

Representative Jim Nash (48A) proposed the A9 Amendment that would remove the background checks section of the bill. See Amendment below:

While one might expect a party line vote on that Amendment, Democrat Dave Lislegard (7B) joined the GOP in opposing background checks. However, most shocking was RINO Andrew Myers (45A) supporting this anti-gun, massive government overreach with the Democrats. Voting for gun control is essentially a self-imposed death sentence, Patriots will never forgive Myers for the vote. See below:

Contact your Senator and tell them to oppose this tyrannical gun control. Politicians need to read the Constitution and understand what “shall not be infringed” means! Minnesota Democrats are screaming from the rooftops about their new marijuana bill, HF 100, which passed the Minnesota House on Monday. Many liberty-minded individuals in Minnesota have long-awaited marijuana legalization, but probably do not realize the long list of regulations that comes with it.

HF 100 is dubbed the “Omnibus Marijuana Bill” for a reason. This long-winded bill is over 300 pages and does so much more than legalize marijuana. If passed, this legislation would:

• Establish a new government bureaucracy called the “office of cannabis management”
• Create a statewide monitoring system to track all cannabis movement
• Create a whopping 13 new licenses required for dispensaries and businesses
• Create an 8% tax on Marijuana products on top of state and local sales taxes.

Of course, it would not be Democrat legislation if it didn’t contain some woke social language. Equity is mentioned 44 times throughout the bill. 

More specifically, so-called “social equity” applicants will be prioritized in the cannabis licensure process, and will be considered for taxpayer-funded grants for their businesses. To be considered for licensure and grants, an applicant must have a diversity plan and environmental plan, among other criteria.

If marijuana is to be legalized in Minnesota, this is not the way to do it. HF 100 gives unfair advantages to some based on how woke they are. It also puts extreme burdens and taxes on small businesses who are already working in a harsh economic climate. Legislators need to do better.

A crony, corrupt, pro-Union bosses, anti-worker bill was passed through the Legislature, including the State House yesterday by a vote of 83-46. This bill will over-regulate oil refineries and fire all contracted employees who did not participate in a union apprenticeship.

SF10 was sponsored by Senator Judy Seeberger (SD41) and Representative Dave Lislegard (7B) and it is a slap in the face to hard working Minnesotans who contract outside of labor unions. Despite having no evidence of previous oil refinery issues from non-labor contractors, the Democrats and RINOs pushed through this bill because they do the bidding of union bosses instead of the people. This was not about safety, this was about pushing further union boss control.

One would think that those who have previously contracted with Minnesota oil refineries safely and without prior accidents would be grandfathered in. However, the Democrats do not care if you are an expert in your field, they just want you to be beholden to union bosses. 

House Republicans pushed several amendments that would allow for individuals with vast experience to continue to be contracted. There are contractors with some of the top level workers for oil refineries who work in states all across our nation, we will no longer be able to rely on these skilled laborers. If someone is trained in a Right to Work state, they would have no union apprenticeship even if they have decades of experience. Additionally, if a previously employed, qualified individual decided to start and finish an apprenticeship program, they would face a severe pay cut!

All Amendments offered failed as the Legislature pushed through this tyrannical bill. To make matters worse, 14 RINOs supported this legislation in the House. The following RINO Representatives are bought and paid for by the union bosses: Greg Davids (26B), Jeff Dotseth (11A), Elliot Engen (36A), Matt Grossel (2A), Shane Hudella (41B), Spencer Igo (7A), Andrew Myers (45A), Isaac Schultz (10B), Roger Skraba (3A), Dean Urdahl (16A), Nolan West (32A), Mark Wiens (41A), Jeff Witte (57B), and Natalie Zeleznikar (3B).

On 4/17/23 this bill passed the Senate by a vote of 39-27 with the following support from RINO Senators: Jim Abeler (SD35), Gene Dornink (SD23), Rob Farnsworth (SD7), Eric Pratt (SD54), and Jason Rarick (SD11). 

Our Legislature is beholden to lobbyists and special interests more than We The People. It is a shame that expert oil refinery workers will now be out of a job, all because the Government is sticking their nose where it doesn’t belong. Action 4 Liberty has always fought for individual freedom and against big government bullying. We need to stand up to the corrupt Union boss control of our state before it’s too late!
