Inflation up 9.1%; Politicians Hold Surplus Hostage

The economy has been in shambles under Joe Biden. Between food shortages, rising prices, and jab-or-job mandates, things are not going well. Inflation is up 9.1%, a new high in four decades. Inflation is caused by the government printing money at uncontrollable levels, causing the value of the dollar to deteriorate. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen takes no blame in the destruction she and Biden have caused, despite the economy being her #1 responsibility.

In Minnesota, our state government is sitting on a massive surplus of our tax dollars that could have been divided up to give each taxpayer $4000. The Legislature has already spent a chunk of it (despite the state government being fully funded for two years), but they keep bringing in records amount of overtaxed revenue. In other words, we are being overtaxed while living expenses are going sky high.

Tim Walz has suggested giving back some of the surplus, but this of course is only to buy votes and save his ass. Walz is desperate and knows his party is on the losing side of this battle.

On the Republican side of things, the Senate wants to do long term tax cuts, funded with the surplus. That means they will hold onto your money in this time of rising prices. The vast majority of them are voting to spend the surplus. Only Rep Erik Mortensen (R-55A) has voted to not spend your surplus money away.

Out of control inflation is hurting our country and state - people are in desperate conditions right now and it is up to Tim Walz and the Legislature to return their money. Families across Minnesota could use their surplus money. GIVE IT BACK!

Cultural Decline in Minnesota? Toddler Attacks Cops

Minnesota has been at the forefront of the discussion on how police and citizens interact. Following George Floyd and the Black Lives Matter protests and riots that plagued Minneapolis, Minnesota still struggles with the relationship between people and police.

The negative stereotypes of police officers have been heightened and exaggerated to fit liberal social justice narratives. The radical liberals of Minneapolis assume racism is deeply engrained in the profession. Defund The Police, ACAB, and Black Lives Matter have wedged a culture divide between black people and the police and it appears the children are taking notice.

Children are very impressionable and soak in the information they get from their family, friends, and community. Kids adopt the views of others they respect and many have a blatant disrespect for police. Sometime last week, two police officers in St. Paul were searching for a murder suspect when a child, just a few years old, wearing nothing but his underwear, began swinging fists and cursing out the police officers. The toddler’s behavior is encouraged and continued by older kids and what appears to be an adult in the background. They called one of the black officers an “oreo head a**” and set the example for the toddler to follow. Reports say that the kids even threw rocks in an unfilmed exchange. The police remained calm, respectful, and professional in their business.

This disturbing video may show the cultural decline in Minnesota as the people have been fed false narratives about the police. Most police officers are stand up individuals who want to help people and keep the streets safe. Feeding propaganda to children that says otherwise is setting them up for problems.

Every problem has its origin and beating around the bush is worsening the problem. There needs to be a bridge of trust between the police and black people to establish peace in Minnesota. This not only can happen, it needs to. Respect to the police officers in the video for keeping their cool and handling the moment like professionals!

Minneapolis in Chaos; Mayor Refuses to Celebrate 4th of July

The Mayor of Minneapolis, Jacob Frey, is a hardcore leftist who bends to the whims of radical socialists. Rising crime, violence, and taxes have run Minneapolis into the ground, yet Jacob Frey is more concerned with social justice issues than the real issues affecting the people. From Black Lives Matter to muslim refugees, Frey has been a tool of the radical left. This year, he has taken an even more Un-American turn.

Unlike our OWN Independence Day this year, Frey was happy to celebrate and encourage the Somali Independence Day. On July 1st, Jacob Frey sent out a tweet about this and ended by saying “Somalia ha noolaato!” which means “Long live Somalia”. See the tweet for yourself.

Following this remark, Frey was silent on the 4th of July! The day in which our country declared Independence from a tyrannical king is somehow less important than Somalia. I guess Jacob Frey hates to recognize the greatness of our country and our natural freedoms. How much do you have to hate our country to not even recognize our freedom and independence?

We’ve all been watching the violence and horrific videos of what took place in Minneapolis on the 4th of July. Frey was ready to gaslight and tweet again on July 5th about it, but of course this will do nothing to solve the problem. Frey has allowed Minneapolis to burn to the ground and does the bidding of those who hate our country.

Double Boosted Keith Ellison Gets COVID Again

Double boosted Attorney General of Minnesota, Keith Ellison, got COVID for a second time. At the beginning of the rollout of the COVID vaccines, public officials told us that the vaccines would create immunity to the virus. In the rare case that someone got COVID while being vaccinated, we were told those were called "breakthrough" cases. However, in Minnesota all statewide elected Democrats have had COVID despite their very public vaccination status. Ellison is the first to have encountered two "breakthrough" cases of the bunch.

Like all other Democrat politicians who got COVID, Ellison used Twitter to spew propaganda about how his boosted status lessened the severity of his case.

Chamber of Commerce Campaigns Against GOP Endorsed Liberty Candidates

The Minnesota Chamber of Commerce is a big government, Establishment friendly group at odds with conservatives who want smaller government. The Chamber of Commerce has also long been in the political game, advocating for radical policies like drivers licenses for illegals, while being mostly silent as Tim Walz attacked small businesses during COVID. This election cycle, they are out to get liberty candidates who support limiting the size and scope of government.

Forming a political committee called the “Pro Jobs Majority Fund,” the Chamber is sending mailers on behalf of un-endorsed, Establishment candidates who are running against endorsed, anti-establishment liberty candidates. Below you can see the evidence from the Campaign Finance Board showing Chamber of Commerce emails attached to this special interest group.

Mailers are known to have been sent out for at least two legislative races so far; State Senate District 54 and State House District 33B. In SD54, Natalie Barnes took out a 10 year incumbent for the GOP endorsement, Eric Pratt, after only campaigning for five days! Barnes won 62% of the support from delegates on the first ballot at the Endorsing Convention, showing that conservatives want new, bold leadership. In House District 33B, Mark Bishofsky defeated an establishment backed opponent, Tina Riehle, with a commanding victory of 82% to 18% on the first ballot at the Endorsing Convention.

The Chamber of Commerce has decided that the hardworking, conservative activists don’t know what’s best for Minnesota. These wins by Barnes and Bishofsky were not flukes, they were decisions made by fed-up patriots who carefully considered their options. Two first ballot victories by such wide margins show where the people stood on these candidates. However, the Chamber has sent out the following flyers, with the same templates, for both of the un-endorsed, establishment candidates. See below:

The Establishment loves Endorsing Conventions when RINOs win, but reject them when their candidate loses. The status-quo of the GOP is crumbling as liberty champions enter the fight to take back our government. The Chamber’s support of candidates who don’t have authentic, grassroots support in their own communities is proof that the Establishment is failing. More importantly, it highlights that there is a war going on for the heart

Walz Issues Radical Executive Order on Abortion in MN

Governor Walz issued a radical executive order on Saturday following the U.S. Supreme Court ruling of Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization, which overturned the Roe v. Wade ruling. Catering to his ever growing radicalized base of liberal activists, Walz seeks to protect non-Minnesota citizens from criminal punishment for traveling to Minnesota to receive an abortion. However, in the three pages of Executive Order 22-16, the word "abortion" is never found. Instead, Walz repeatedly refers the killing of unborn babies as "reproductive health care services."

Walz states "I will exercise my discretion to decline requests for the arrest or surrender of any person charged with a criminal violation of a law of another state where the violation alleged involves the provision of, assistance with, securing of, or receipt of reproductive health care services." The Governor describes “reproductive health care services” as "all medical, surgical, counseling, or referral services relating to the human reproductive system, including but not limited to services relating to pregnancy, contraception, miscarriage, or the termination of a pregnancy."

The pro-abortion narrative is extremely loud right now. Democrat politicians, corporations and the mainstream media are in full propaganda mode - equating the Supreme Court ruling to the loss of women reproductive rights (although they can't define what a woman is these days). Lost in the debate is the fact that many states are now actually going to protect the rights of a human life inside the womb. To get that narrative, one must turn to conservative media like the Dailywire:

Tim Walz is Getting Desperate

Tides are turning in this state. Governor Walz just announced that he wants a Special Session to approve $1,000 checks for individuals. He even said it wouldn't be attached to spending. He's coming our way.

But the government actually overcharged us taxpayers by $4,000. So Walz is not quite there yet and there's no reason to compromise with him. He knows this is going to hurt him in the November election because people are sick of rising gas and food prices.

I break it all down in this week's video:

The prospect of getting the record $12 Billion surplus back in our hands is getting closer. Angry voters force politicians to do things they don't want to do. Walz' dreams of spending our money on more wasteful government is diminishing by the day. GIVE IT ALL BACK!

Overturning Roe v Wade - A Common Sense Analysis on Human Life

I'm so delighted to see Roe v. Wade overturned today by the U.S. Supreme Court. It was never the law of the land, instead it was a decision by activist judges (all of them men, by the way) back in 1973. Our country has treated the Roe decision as though it was the Supreme Law of the land, therefore using it as cover to allow the killing of millions of unborn babies.

That all came to an end today when the U.S. Supreme Court announced its ruling in Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization which effectively overturned the Roe decision. The court ruled 5-4, with both a woman justice joining the majority. How's that for identity politics?!

Instead of getting into the legal or political points of this monumental decision today, which I'm sure there will be non-stop coverage of, it's important to note that this decision will inevitably save human lives. You see, I feel our country has covered our eyes to the immoral and violent act of killing innocent life for 50 years. Similar to closing our eyes over the immoral act of slavery in the 18th and 19th centuries, our country needed a major course correct.

Political outfits have brainwashed the public for decades into believing this is about women's rights. It became poisonous to touch for most politicians because they feared losing the female voting demographic. Meanwhile, men stood by, muzzled because they were told this issue was not for them. But anyone approaching the conversation with a shred of honesty knows, that the issue comes down to the infringement of rights for an unborn life.

For me personally, this became crystal clear in 2014. That's when my first child was conceived and eventually born. First learning about my wife being pregnant was obviously a great moment. But the first time the reality of being a father settled in, was when I saw the ultrasound. Using modern technology, I first met my son Colton when he was in the womb. It wasn't a clump of cells or "just a fetus" - what I was looking at was my son, a human being. It hit me that day how our culture can live blindly to this very real and obvious point.

I saw my son for the first time months before his birth. And my wife and I felt blessed. How on earth could anyone argue that that child is worthy of being aborted? Any rationalization for killing a child in the womb should suffice outside the womb as well. And thank God our society still deems that as murder.

Despite what some will say, the Supreme Court decision did not make abortion illegal in the United States today. It merely kicked the authority of governance to the states, where it always belonged. Fortunately, many states are honest about the issue and recognize an innocent life is at stake during an abortion. Minnesota is not one of those states. But I can hope and pray that we can one day get there because protecting innocent life should always be a priority for a civilized society.

Supreme Court Defends 2A While Senate Fights to Take Gun Rights

Events like what happened in Uvalde and Buffalo sparked the gun control debate all over again. We’ve been through it many times and gun-grabbers always appeal to the emotions of the public during a crisis to push their agenda. School shootings and shootings of any kind are a tragedy, but the solution is not imposing unfair regulations onto law abiding citizens.

Many times we have seen GOP politicians hold the line and fight to protect our Second Amendment rights, however there are always plenty of spineless, cowardice, RINOs who side with the Socialists on the left to deteriorate our right to defense. The Constitution does not grant us our Rights; These are pre-existing, God-given, natural Rights that are recognized in writing within the Bill of Rights and following Amendments. Our founders understood the common use of firearms in the early founding of our country and wisely protected the right from being infringed upon. The Second Amendment is to protect us from others, our government, and invading governments.

The US Senate has clearly forgotten their duties to the People and 14 GOP Senators are behind it! Senator John Cornyn (R-Texas) is leading the effort for gun control among the GOP and is showing his true colors. Cornyn was supposedly given this role by Mitch McConnell as a test to become the next Majority/Minority Leader. Conservatives across our country were let down by slimy leadership on Cornyn and McConnell’s part. This may be the final straw with the more conservative wing of GOP Senators. If this gun control is successful, do not be shocked if a major change in GOP Senate leadership happens after the midterms.

On a more positive note, the US Supreme Court today ruled in favor of gun rights in the first major Second Amendment case taken up by the court in 14 years! In a 6-3 ruling, the Supreme Court defended gun owners’ right to concealed carry in New York state. In New York State Rifle and Pistol Association v. Bruen, the case revolved around New York’s regulation that requires “proper cause” in order to have a concealed weapons permit. Proper cause means that you must “demonstrate a special need for self-protection distinguishable from that of the general community.” In the majority opinion, Justice Clarence Thomas properly points out the purpose/founding intent of the Second Amendment and that this regulation prohibits common citizens from their right to self defense. The gun owners argued that celebrities, politicians, and public figures in New York are able to be defended with armed guards but that same right is not afforded to common people.

This major victory will cause New York to change their laws and give their citizens’ their freedom back. Action 4 Liberty commends the decision made by the Supreme Court and rejects the liberal gun control in the US Senate. If we lose the Second Amendment, all other rights will fall. This decision is a big success but we must remain vigilant against the politicians or we will lose our guns.

Walz Comes Our Way on Giving Back Surplus, But Not Far Enough

Governor Tim Walz announced that he is willing to sign a bill that would give back $1,000 of the surplus to individuals and $2,000 to families. Currently, the state is holding on to a record $12 Billion surplus. That equates to over $4,000 per taxpayer. A surplus happens when the government overcharges taxpayers and brings in more revenue than what is needed to balance the expenses.

Although details are lacking of Governor Walz' proposal, it likely will be given to all individuals (even those who do not pay taxes) and will also likely be capped at an income level of what Democrats usually consider "the wealthy." Action 4 Liberty is calling for the entire surplus to be given back to only those who paid taxes because we are opposed to redistribution of wealth by the government.

Senate Republicans who tentatively agreed to spend the majority of the surplus with Walz, have now backed off of agreeing to the details of large spending bills. Instead of returning the surplus to Minnesotans during rising costs of consumer goods, the Senate proposed long term tax cuts.

The Legislature adjourned for the year back in May. In order for the surplus to be returned, Governor Walz would have to call a Special Session. Action 4 Liberty opposes a Special Session unless it is to give back the entire surplus. Republicans in the Senate have the ultimate chips in their hands: either get Walz to agree to give it all back or let voters decide who should be in control of the government this November.

Watch our recent video about how Action 4 Liberty's helped kill the Special Session:
