Democrats to BAN Plastic Water Bottles

Nobody needs to tell you that Minnesota Democrats are crazy. They have already shown their insanity by introducing bills to ban lawnmowers and high school mascotsThey won't stop until you are poor and miserable. Now, they have a bill that would ban the production and sale of plastic water bottles.

Whacky Liberal Democrat Sydney Jordan (60A) introduced HF 1857 last week, which would ban plastic water bottles in the State of Minnesota. According to her bill, this would include containers that are “comprised primarily of plastic resin”, “sealed; and holds less than two liters when full.”

Minnesota is on a fast track to becoming the most liberal state in the nation! This is more extreme than even New York or California would go.

While they have not passed this bill yet, they have already passed plenty of other harmful legislation. Democrats just recently passed legislation that would require Minnesota to be powered by 100% green energy by 2040, with a 60% requirement by 2030.

If you think this is a minor issue, you have seen nothing yet. When Minnesotans let their politicians get away with bans like this, they will start going after things like cars, houses, and food.

If we are to be a free country, we must have the choice to consume what we please. The dystopian future that Democrats want does not involve choice -- only compliance.

Minnesota Democrats’ Growing Anti-White Racism

Democrats used to tout themselves as the party of the blue-collar American. They used to look out for the common man and stand against elitism from special interests and the wealthy.

That party died a long time ago. In its place stands an anti-white, anti-American political party that tears people down based on their skin color and sexual orientation. It seeks to tear down western culture in favor of a culture that embraces division.

The Minnesota Democrat Party (DFL) is a sad example of a nationwide trend eating away at American life.

In the DFL, legislators are being tossed aside for daring to be straight, white, and/or male. This is perhaps part of why Representative Zack Stephenson recently came out as bisexual.

Democrats also applaud their politicians for calling white men terrorists, as Senator Omar Fateh recently did. Fateh spoke against common-sense amendments to a bill allowing the giving of driver’s licenses to illegal immigrants. He claimed that the “threat” did not come from immigrants but from “members that sit in the front,” gesturing to Republican legislators.

Watch the video here

Expressing her frustration with the lack of babies being murdered, Democrat Representative Kaohly Vang Her blamed a “few white men” for daring to stand in the way of their legislative agenda. Alpha News reported that Representative Her and her colleagues are prepared to pass more sweeping abortion legislation. Anyone who stands in their way will be dismissed as a bigot, misogynist, or even fascist.

The United States is not a racist country, as many leftists wish it were. To drive their message home, they manufacture fake stories of discrimination to earn sympathy points. I probably don’t need to remind you of Jussie Smollett’s manufactured “hate crime.”

While countless millions of Americans buy into this narrative, there is also likely something more sinister at play. This kind of “cultural Marxism” is being pushed to distract Minnesotans and Americans from the fact that their country is on the verge of thermal nuclear war with Russia and China

Meanwhile, Democrats continue to prioritize race, class, and sexual identity over the needs of the common man. They have no interest in saving this country, but in climbing to the top of the intersectional ladder.

'Driver's Licenses for Illegals’ Bill Passes MN Senate

As snow fell on the state of Minnesota causing hazardous road conditions, Minnesota Democrats' top "road safety" priority was granting state-issued driver's licenses to illegal aliens. Senate Democrats passed HF 4 early in the morning after an extremely long floor debate.

The bill creates a driver's license that is void of an identifier about the recipient's legal status in an effort to avoid the stigma. With same-day registration in Minnesota elections, this new bill will undoubtedly lead to more voter fraud.

Republicans offered several amendments to the bill, all of them were rejected by the slim Democrat majority in the chamber. Among these rejected amendments were provisions to exclude:

  • Gang members
  • Terrorists
  • Sex offenders
  • Those ineligible to drive

Of course, Democrats need to protect their base of supporters.

Now, the bill is off to Governor Walz’ desk to be signed. This extreme piece of legislation fits nicely with the insane gun ban and lawn mower ban bills the Democrats want to pass.

Democrat Anti-Free Speech Bill Targets Action 4 Liberty, Star Tribune Writes

The liberal Star Tribune published an article over the weekend covering an anti-free speech bill written by Radical Democrat Liz Bolden. The bill, as noted by the Star Tribune, would target groups like Action 4 Liberty's free speech. In fact, the article mentioned Action 4 Liberty by name and referenced our infamous 2021 door knocking operations targeting vulnerable Democrats on a vote to End Governor Walz' Emergency Powers.

The Start Tribune writes:

"In 2021, the DFL Party submitted a complaint about the group Action 4 Liberty, which created mailers criticizing Democrats in swing districts for not voting to end Gov. Tim Walz's emergency powers during the pandemic."

In the spring of 2021, we fought off an erroneous campaign finance board complaint against us by the Democrat Party in Minnesota. They alleged we were illegally conducting electioneering and not reporting it to the Campaign Finance Board. The case was eventually dismissed, but it was ridiculous they even looked into such an erroneous complaint when in 2021 there was no election and no filed candidates for office. Plus, our door knocking literature didn't tell people to vote for or against a person.

According to the Star Tribune article, "Democrats want to require disclosure of all ads and mailings that could only be interpreted as intending to influence voters." However, the Minnesota State Constitution recognizes the right to free speech in Article 1, Section 3 when stating "all persons may freely speak, write and publish their sentiments on all subjects."

The Campaign Finance Board, a group of Walz appointed partisan hacks, will be the final arbiters of what constitutes a violation of the law if the Democrat bill passes. This government agency is actually using taxpayer money to lobby the legislature for the changes. And their recommendation would give them extremely vague language to find a violation when it comes to what is known as "expressed advocacy."

Thousands of Minnesotans give to Action 4 Liberty because they want an organization representing their voice for liberty. Many of our supporters have busy lives, families and work that limit their ability to make a daily impact in politics. Their support for our group allows them to focus on their private lives, while their message still gets to audiences of voters across the state.

Government DOES NOT have a right to regulate speech conducted against elected politicians. This is a fundamental right!

Let's be honest - our political operations are highly effective. Which is why the Democrats are targeting us and why the Star Tribune wrote about it in their article. Distributing political literature amongst the electorate to advocate for liberty is a practice that's as old as the founding of our country. Shame on the radical Democrats for trying to trample on this important activity and our rights to free speech!

Chamber of Commerce Endorsed 'Driver's Licenses for Illegals' on Senate Floor

In addition to their other extreme legislation, Minnesota Democrats are now rushing HF 4 to Governor Walz’ desk. This is the notorious bill that would give driver’s licenses to illegal immigrants! Left-wing organizations that have praised this effort are also joined by the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce.

A group of self-proclaimed “business advocates” wrote a letter to the Minnesota Legislature signing the praises of this legislation. Among these organizations is the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce.

If passed, HF 4 would allow non-citizens to receive standard Class D driver’s licenses that look identical to a citizen's. Of course, they like this legislation because it gives them easy access to cheap labor.

Action 4 Liberty has previously reported on the dangers of this legislation, chief among them being that non-citizens can easily use these IDs to vote. Again, there are no distinguishing features that prevent an election judge from questioning their legal status.

As previously reported, non-citizens have already admitted to voting in Minnesota! With the passage of this legislation, there are no barriers preventing them from interfering in United States elections.

Anti-Free Speech, Governor Walz Commissioner Becomes New StarTribune CEO

The Minneapolis StarTribune has long been seen as a left-wing publication that carries water for the current Democrat administration. Any doubts about its liberal-leanings can be put to rest with the appointment of its new CEO.

The Minneapolis Newspaper announced that it would be bringing on Lockdown Governor Tim Walz’ Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) Commissioner Steve Grove. If the paper lacks proper criticism of the liberal Governor now, one can only imagine how that will look when one of Walz' close confidants is in charge.

The Commissioner only recently settled a lawsuit alleging First Amendment rights violations. In the suit brought against the future newspaper CEO, Journalist Tony Webster alleged that Grove unconstitutionally blocked several Twitter accounts from his Official DEED Commissioner Account. Seeing as his account is used for purpose of communicating with taxpayers, his argument made sense.

On Monday, DEED agreed to pay Webster $17,000 in damages and a provided a block list from Grove’s account, which can be seen below:

Webster confirmed with a handful of accounts that they have been unblocked by Steve Grove.

It’s ironic that StarTribune thought that Steve Grove was the man for the job, considering that he has no tolerance for criticism of liberal Democrats.

However, with the newspaper’s far-left reporting record, maybe it makes sense that they hired a Walz lackey to prop up the liberal agenda in the media.

Corrupt Otter Tail GOP BANS 33 Duly Elected Conservative Delegates from Convention

Across our state, a handful of local Republican Party units have tilted the scale, rigged endorsements, and purged true conservatives from the party. This has all been done in an effort to prop up Establishment candidates and party officers, while grassroots, conservative activists have been left to the wayside.

Last weekend, in Otter Tail County, the local GOP leadership BANNED 33 duly elected conservatives delegates from attending their GOP Convention because they were calling out corruption and allegedly supported Nathan Miller’s Senate campaign against the Establishment picked, Jordan Rasmusson last fall. This was their first public meeting since March of last year because the Executive Board of the Otter Tail County GOP only meets behind closed doors.

Shockingly, a small, rural county GOP that never meets publicly has attracted large donors, PACs and Twin Cities lobbyists. The Party's Campaign Finance Board report shows that they raised a whopping $42,175 last year, an amount that far exceeds what other rural county GOP units raise.  90% of those funds came from large donors, PACs and Twin Cities lobbyists which were likely bundled by what's described as the "kingmaker" for the Otter Tail County Republican Establishment, Tommy Merickel. Otter Tail County Republican's treasurer is Laura Merickel.

Here are portions of the Campaign Finance Report:

Here's a look at some of the lobbyists and PACs who gave to this small, rural County GOP (Person with "Registered ID" means a lobbyist):

SEE FULL CAMPAIGN FINANCE REPORT

Tommy Merickel, a backer of RINO Jordan Rasmusson, is not only the supposed kingmaker of the area, he's also the mover and shaker behind the anti-conservative organization, the Jobs Coalition. Former Rep Erik Mortensen exposed this in a recent video.

The Jobs Coalition is the loophole the St. Paul Swamp Republicans use to get corporate funding into elections to defeat conservative candidates in the primary. The Jobs Coalition and Lobbyist Legislator Kurt Daudt spent over $158,000 against conservatives Rep Erik Mortensen, Mark Bishofsky, and Mike Weiner. Luckily, they lost in all those races.

According to local sources, the people that serve as leaders of the Otter Tail GOP are a mix of Rasmusson and Merickel’s circle (including Rasmussen’s wife as Secretary and Jordan’s best friend as Deputy Chair).

WHERE THIS ALL STARTED

On February 1st 2022, individuals attended their local caucus and had the opportunity to run to become delegates so they could participate and vote in Endorsing Conventions, amongst other things. People can also be voted in absentia if they cannot attend the caucus. Dozens of new grassroots conservatives got involved for the first time in the political process hoping to change politics at the Capitol and in Otter Tail County.

However, they were instantly met with resistance and their activation was seen as a threat to the order. We're told that the Rasmusson/Merickel crew added 26 delegate names to the delegate and alternate rolls between the caucus on Feb. 1st and Feb. 25th when delegate lists were sent to campaigns, none of which were caucus attendees or delegates voted in absentia. At the March 19th Otter Tail BPOU Convention, the issue was raised over 26 names added to the delegate and alternate rolls. With further research, this number jumped up to 32 by the Endorsing Convention on April 23rd. Just like we exposed in Morrison County, Otter Tail County GOP was caught adding delegates and alternates after the caucus which violates both the MNGOP and Otter Tail Republican’s Constitutions!

The rules read that delegates must be elected "at their defined precinct caucus."

The MNGOP Constitution also spells this out:

Only individuals who attended the caucus, ran for delegate, and won the votes of their precinct are duly elected.

This is fraud very similar to election fraud and proof that the GOP will rig Endorsements for RINOs. Candidate Nathan Miller argued for the original caucus lists to be released so they can be compared with the attendance of the Endorsing Convention. That request was denied, but the number of delegates to the endorsing convention was eventually made available. Caucus conveners from 2 of the 5 caucus locations took pictures of the delegate rolls for the District and were able to compare them to the numbers sent to the MNGOP and found that 13 delegates, and 19 alternates were added in just a dozen of the 92 total county precincts. This was discovered only seeing 30 of the 92 precincts. Andy Bradrick put together a sheet of this discrepancy:

Miller than requested an audit of the caucuses and Convention of Otter Tail County. The Establishment refused to comply with any transparency measures.

Certain GOP officials knew it was all rigged and did nothing to stop it! GOP State Executive Officer for the 7th Congressional District Bill Nichol made damning statements to conservative activist Carol Hexum in a leaked phone call acknowledging the fraud but dismissing it because “for right now, winning is more important than having a perfect election.” Nichol is heard in the audio saying that “all indications don’t support Jordan [Rasmussen] being an honest and upright person.”

The GOP covered up election fraud because they did not want accountability for the sham convention they held. Following the convention, Rasmusson went on to beat Miller by an extremely narrow margin in the primary, most likely because he “won” the GOP Endorsement.

LAST SATURDAY'S CONVENTION

Otter Tail County held its non-election year convention last Saturday to determine new Party leadership. But they disenfranchised the voice of 33 delegates who were duly elected by caucus attendees last year. So much for upholding democratic values!

Delegates and alternates were removed because the BPOU accused them of supporting a "third party candidate" over the "Republican nominee" in the general election (Nathan Miller's write in campaign). However, Nathan Miller did not belong to a third party and is a duly elected GOP delegate. Delegates who supported Miller's general election campaign is what the BPOU used as to justify them getting banned.

The MNGOP MUST act on this matter. If the local party unit is working against the mission of the Party and the grassroots, it is no longer legitimate. Because they wouldn’t allow 33 individuals to vote on leadership races, a new convention must be called and delegate credentials restored.

Another reason the convention was a sham was that delegates were not notified of the meeting in proper time. According to the Otter Tail County Republican Constitution, all delegates must be given their convention call 10 days in advance to the convention. Some delegates did not receive a convention call at all! See an example below of delegates being notified that they will not be credentialed:

Delegates were also only given 8 days advance, which would make the whole convention a phony scam. See Article 9, Section 1 of their Constitution below:

There is corruption at all levels of government and political parties in our nation and state. The MNGOP has proven time and time again that they favor politics over patriots. They will cover up and commit fraud against regular Americans fighting for freedom. The Democrats will screw us to our face and RINOs do it behind our backs.

Local GOP Conventions are happening throughout Minnesota this year in the months of February and March. These meetings decide your local leadership, bylaws, and elect State Central Committee delegates. To learn more about the process and see if you are eligible to participate, check out our video that explains everything!

Action 4 Liberty is the leading organization in Minnesota for freedom, election integrity, and calling out corruption. Both Democrats and Republicans need to be held accountable and it is up to common Patriots like us to do it. GET INVOLVED! If we don’t have integrity in our elections and endorsements, we have nothing!

Radical Democrat Wants Gun Registration, State License to Own Firearm

State Senator John Marty has introduced an “omnibus bill” of crazy second amendment infringements, including a state database of firearm owners.

His bill, SF 1723, introduces the perhaps the most extreme gun control proposals in the nation. If passed, the legislation would be on par with New York’s anti-gun laws.

Here’s just a handful of items that John Marty hopes to put into state law:

  • State level gun registry of all gun owners
  • License required from Commissioner of Public Safety to own a firearm
  • Liability insurance required for all gun owners
  • Criminal penalities for buying or transferring more than one firearm within 30 days
  • A BAN on magazines that hold more than ten rounds
  • A BAN on semi-automatic weapons

That’s right, this bill would ban firearms like the AR-15 or the Remington R-25. Take a look!

Rural Democrat Senators like Grant Hauschild are put in a real tough place with this legislation. On one hand, he is all on board with the far-left and their evil agenda. On the other hand, he has to consider that he represents one of the highest concealed carry ownership Senate Districts in the state of Minnesota. His vote for this legislation would almost certainly cost him his seat in 2026.

Perhaps Senator Hauschild needs to be reminded how extreme this legislation is. Contact his office in St. Paul with his contact information below:

Remember, the Minnesota Senate has a one seat DFL majority. If even one Democrat defects from the rest of the party on a bill, the bill is dead. Remind Grant Hauschild that he is at the will of his voters, not his party. Visit his Senate profile page here.

Democrat Rep Jerry Newton Also Wants to Ban Gas Powered Zambonis

Yesterday, Action 4 Liberty published a story detailing Swing-District Representative Jerry Newton’s plan to ban gas-powered lawn mowers. Shortly after publishing, our team uncovered another insane proposal from Newton - an idea that should land him in the penalty box.

Newton’s HF 1716 would BAN the sale of gas powered zambonis – or, “ice resurfacing machines” in the state of Minnesota. Don’t take my word for it, read his nine-line piece of legislation below:

Come 2025, your local sports arena (likely subsidized by taxpayer dollars) will need to opt for the premium ice resurfacing machine. All-electric Zamboni machines cost about $200,000!

This is just one more example of the far-left’s obsession with power. Whether it be speech, Zambonis, or high school mascots they don’t like – Democrats will show their authoritarian mentality.

Reach out to your local elected officials and let them know what you think of their authoritarian proposals.

Democrat Jerry Newton Introduces Bill to Ban Gas Powered Lawn Mowers

Minnesota Democrats have made it their mission to ban, regulate, and tax Minnesotans into oblivion. We're reported about their crazy bills. But this new one by a radicalized metro Democrat takes the cake!

Democrat Representative Jerry Newton introduced legislation yesterday that would ban the sale of gas-powered lawn mowers, leaf blowers, hedge clippers, chainsaws, lawn edgers, string timmers, and brushcutters. And get this... stores will have to ditch this equipment in less than 3 years!

Here's the language of this crazy legislation:

Minnesota is without a doubt the new laboratory for experimental far-left policies, and Minnesotans will hurt because of it.

Jerry Newton – the author of HF 1715 – barely won his House seat in 2022. He was put over the finish line by a measly 232 votes. If the constituents in his district got word of this Green New Style proposal coming from him, he could be in trouble.
