Last session, we saw Democrats ram through an agenda including the legalization of child mutilation, removal of parental rights for parents who dispute transgender medical procedures of their child, and protection of pedophiles in the Minnesota Human Rights Act. 

They now plan to mandate health insurance companies to cover “all medical, surgical, counseling, or referral services” and consider transgender procedures to be “medically necessary care”. This will set a new precedent that will force local insurance agents to cover sterilization or it would be “discriminatory”.  

This bill has 24 Representatives and five Senators signed on, all Democrats. 

The obvious culprit is Rep. “Leigh” Finke, former “woman” of the year, despite not being a woman. Democrats have caved to Finke’s demands out of fear of being called “transphobic”, despite clear evidence demonstrating that hormonal and surgical changes to children is devastating to their physical and mental health. However, Finke is just another cross-dressing puppet in the downfall of our state and is likely receiving legislation from other states like California who have similar statutes in their books.

Despite the divisive and illogical nature of this bill, FIVE swing district Democrats have signed on as well in an election year! Representatives Kristin Bahner (37B), Kim Hicks (25A), Kristi Pursell (58A), Zack Stephenson (35A), and Brad Tabke (54A) all appear to care more about mutilating children than their 2024 election prospects. 

Swing district voters do not want their Legislators to do the work of the Far Left. Minnesota is currently held captive by groomers, perpetrators, and enablers of the Radical agenda to target kids and indoctrinate gender dysphoria into them. Only 22% of people support child mutilation and that would be even lower if they were presented with the horrifying evidence of transgender surgeries and their effects on youth. 

This bill not only applies to coverage of children, but to all insured people. While adults can consent and are free to become transgenders, health care providers and insurance agents should not be required to cover “healthcare” that will cause irreversible disfigurement on their clients. The popular X (formerly Twitter) account @EndWokeness posted a clip on Friday revealing a shocking statistic from Children’s Minnesota – the leading children’s hospital in the state. The clip features transgender doctor Angela Goepferd, who has been praised by the left for her disgusting rhetoric regarding gender-confused children. She serves as the Chief Education Officer for the hospital.

In the video, Goepferd reveals that roughly 1/3rd of her patients at Children’s Minnesota receive some form of sterilization/puberty-blocking medication. She claims the remainder of treatment includes encouraging gender dysphoria through clothing and pronoun usage.

Goepferd accidentally reveals in this clip that a huge among of children are being given life-altering medications and procedures. The total number of patients has likely increased since Minnesota has become a “sanctuary state” for genital mutilation surgeries.

Action 4 Liberty has reported on Goepferd many times in the past. Most recently, she received backlash for sponsoring a “gender resource fair” at an elementary school in Minneapolis.

This madness will likely continue for years to come unless voters and politicians wake up to how absurd the gender movement has become. This year, Minnesota Democrats are likely to push a constitutional amendment that makes transgender surgeries a right in the Minnesota Constitution.

Last Monday, Dave Hann attended a political “unity” event with Minnesota Democrat Party Chair Ken Martin at the University of St. Thomas. The “Reduce the Rancor” event was hosted by Braver Angels, a group that advocates for moderate political outcomes.

In an address to the Group, Dave Hann states that Democrats are “not our enemy,” and that “we have to find ways to work together…”

Hann fits this group well. For most groups like this, reducing polarization means giving the Democrats everything they want. This appears to be true, as the event was also sponsored by the liberal League of Women Voters among many other liberal colleges and universities. 

Hann is clearly not willing to take the fight to Democrats in St. Paul after all they have done. Remember, Democrats eliminated any restrictions on abortion, increased your sales and gas taxes, and infringed upon your second amendment rights.

This should not surprise you, as Hann has openly states many times that he does not like President Trump for his policies and rhetoric. In 2022, Hann stated that “Donald Trump is vulgar, he’s rude, he’s boorish, he’s abusive, he’s obnoxious.”

Loyalty to Trump does not tell the whole story. However, it usually lets you know where someone stands politically. Hann is more interested in fending off the conservative grassroots activists than he is the Democrats. Look no further than the mess in Otter Tail County. 

Dave Hann wants Republicans to moderate in order to win. It’s worth asking, is it really winning if we have the same policy platform as the Democrats?

Another RINO bites the dust in Minnesota! Career politician Dean Urdahl (16A) is ending his legislative career after nearly 22 years in his seat! This is a continuation of the conservative uprising brought about by citizen Patriots attending caucuses and becoming delegates.

Dean Urdahl has a 44% lifetime score on A4L scorecards and got only 53% in 2022! Included in his terrible voting record is helping Democrats pass woke education bills. The big government, anti-freedom standard for GOP legislators is being replaced by individuals who are demanding that our Constitutional Rights are protected. There is an ever-growing list of Legislators who are not seeking re-election for numerous reasons.

District 16A is a very conservative area and there is almost zero chance a Democrat is elected in that district. Urdahl initially announced in January that he would be seeking re-election but once he was faced with two conservative opponents, including Meeker County Commissioner Steve Schmitt and businessman Scott Van Binsbergen, his tune quickly changed! Urdahl now claims that politics is “hyper-partisan” and “activist driven” (as if that is a bad thing!) and says that his decision has “absolutely nothing” to do with his conservative opponents. Give me a break!

Action 4 Liberty has successfully led pressure campaigns against several legislators, including Democrats, causing them to retire in disgrace. One example of this is con-artist Gene Pelowski, who falsely voted to remove Walz’ Emergency Powers only to vote to keep them after he was re-elected. The falsification of his voting record was exposed to his constituents by A4L and we will continue to fight the corruption within our state! Pressure is the only thing politicians understand, wield it effectively!

The Minneapolis City Council voted to overturn Mayor Frey’s veto on Thursday, passing a requirement for rideshare companies to pay their contractors a $15.75 minimum wage. Uber and Lyft both have announced that they will be ceasing operations in Minneapolis due to this development. 

Specifically, this new rule requires rideshare companies to pay $1.40 per mile and $0.51 per minute for time spent driving passengers. This metric does not include tips. When this goes into effect on May 1st, Uber and Lyft plan to have nothing to do with it.

In a far-left effort to get higher wages for their constituents, the Minneapolis City Council actually killed their chances for making any kind of income through these services. When you put too many regulations on the free market, businesses have no choice but to close up shop!

The Minnesota legislature tried passing a near identical proposal in 2023. In fact, almost every legislative democrat voted for it – despite threats from Uber and Lyft to pull out of the state entirely. Governor Walz vetoed the bill then, but that does not stop it from coming back this session.

Minneapolis residents will need to think long and hard about what they want out of their city council. A lack of rideshare options in a big city only stands to hurt workers, which will come back to bite the politicians. If Democrats in St. Paul had their way, they would force Minneapolis’ misery on the whole state.

Action 4 Liberty President Erik Mortensen confronted MNGOP Chair David Hann this morning at a Republican convention to ask him about how he plans to restore the delegates in Otter Tail County in response to the State Executive Board's vote to create a task force. We reported last week how Hann unilaterally invalidated hundreds of Otter Tail County conservative delegates - despite not having the authority under the MNGOP Constitution.

According to Hann, he's not "obligated to share any information" about the process or who is going to be on the special committee. Mortensen is actually a state central delegate of the MNGOP. When Mortensen shared this information with Hann, he responded "you do not have the right to know what I'm going to do." This begs the question: who holds Hann accountable if not state central delegates?

Even more shocking from this leaked audio, is Hann referred to members of the State Executive Committee as "dishonorable" for releasing information about the emergency meeting held on Tuesday so the public would know what happened. Hann voted to kick the public and state central delegates out of the meeting.

The bizarre, and maybe mentally unstable treasurer that MNGOP Chair David Hann fired, then reappointed, is sending out disinformation to activists about Hann's unilateral removal of Otter Tail County delegates. Treasurer Lee Prinkkila was one of the four "No" votes on the vote to suspend Hann's unilateral decision at Tuesday's MNGOP State Executive emergency meeting.

Prinkkila is now responding to activists with a lie about Otter Tail County delegates not being properly elected at the February 27th caucus. It's unknown if Lee has physically seen any of the evidence or he's just foolishly reiterating the talking points of corrupt chair David Hann. But his ignorance on the topic is showcased by his canned response. 

In texts and emails, Prinkkila arrogantly asks conservative activists if he should "ignore state statue [sic] 202A.18 since it appears nominations and elections and delegates did not occur in time per the Secretary and other evidence." Action 4 Liberty president, Erik Mortensen and MNGOP State Executive representative Wendy Phillips met with over one hundred Otter Tail County delegates last night and saw the evidence first hand that they were properly elected in their precincts on caucus night.

There are dozens upon dozens of signed affidavits and personal testimonies that validate it. Here's a snapshot of some of the ones presented to us last night in Fergus Falls.

State Statute 202A.18 clearly states that "election of delegates and alternates must begin within one hour of convening a caucus." The evidence is overwhelming that the Otter Tail County delegates began the elections within one hour of the start, despite Prinkkila's disinformation. Multiple attendees told us that the Otter Tail County leadership, which is run by notorious Establishment hack Tommy Merickel, tried to delay voting for delegates in an attempt to disenfranchise the voice of those who attended the caucus.

What a crony move by Establishment Republicans to try and silence the voice of conservative activists. This is no different than telling someone who is in line at 7:50 pm at a polling location that they can't vote because polls close at 8:00 pm (they can't do that, by the way). In a Party that hasn't won a statewide election in 18 years, who are these jokers to turn people away from participating???

This isn't the first time people have seen the erratic, unhinged behavior by MNGOP Treasurer Lee Prinkkila. In November of 2022, Lee sent out a bizarre and incoherent email to Republican State Central delegates - a move that eventually led to him being fired by David Hann. But quietly, Prinkkila maneuvered his way back to becoming treasurer of the Party again and a reliable vote for Hann's agenda on the State Executive Committee.

On Friday March 15th, career politician Brian Johnson was soundly defeated for the 28A GOP Endorsement. Brian Johnson has been a Representative for the past 12 years.

In a major upset, Johnson was crushed on the first ballot by Isanti Mayor Jimmy Gordon. Gordon won with a demanding 80% of the delegates’ votes. This by far surpassed the 60% threshold necessary for a party endorsement. 28A is a solid red district and cannot fall into the hands of the Democrats. Gordon is also a business owner and a volunteer firefighter.

Mayor Jimmy has pledged to defend our Second Amendment Right and supports election integrity, parental rights, term limits, and life at conception to natural death. Brian Johnson has a 60% lifetime score on our scorecards and got only 58% as recently as 2022.

Gordon’s victory over Brian Johnson is a persistent and nagging problem for the establishment; Conservative voters are fed up with the same old, same old do nothing politicians who do not fight for freedom. Minnesotans know that our state is crumbling and change is needed.

Voters across our state should continue to participate in Minnesota’s delegate process and attend endorsing conventions. Being a delegate is the strongest civic power a single individual can wield and it is well worth your time to participate in electing individuals who truly represent YOUR interests.

Corrupt MNGOP Chair David Hann unilaterally threw out all delegates in Otter Tail County last week, disenfranchising the voice of hundreds of grassroots, conservative activists. When we learned of this tyrannical style move, we sprung into action and were able to get members of the 15 person State Executive Committee to call an emergency meeting. That meeting occurred last night at 8:15 pm at the MNGOP headquarters in Edina, MN.

The meeting began on a bad note. Several activists attended the meeting, including our own President Erik Mortensen, who had an interesting encounter with Hann in the parking lot beforehand. Congressional District 6 Chair Bobby Benson made a motion to take the meeting into an executive session and kick out the public. Benson is the State Chief of Staff for Globalist RINO Tom Emmer; a job that pays him a $130,000 salary from taxpayers. His motion passed and despite state central delegates being in attendance, they were not allowed to stay and observe the meeting.

Our sources tell us that Hann's objective in the meeting last night was to talk the issues of the night to death so no vote would occur. Hann wanted a filibuster on important issues to the grassroots.

However, he was delivered a blow on the issue dealing with House District 57A. We wrote about the illegitimate endorsing convention that RINO Rep Jon Konznick claimed gave him the Republican endorsement last Saturday. Turns out, 7-5 members of State Executive agreed that Congressional District 2 Chairman Joe Ditto properly called a March 16th convention, and the illegitimate convention will not be recognized.

This decision is a big deal because it confirms that Koznik and the HRCC have been fraudulently staking claim to an endorsement that never actually occurred.

Following the vote on 57A, Congressional District 4 Rep Mark Bishofsky made a motion to reinstate all Otter Tail County delegates. That led to a lengthy discussion amongst the Executive Committee. Hann reiterated that he had the authority to remove delegates (he does not). It became clear that members of the State Executive committee did not want to vote NO after receiving hundreds of phone calls, texts and emails yesterday from activists all across the state of Minnesota. They did not want to go against the will of the people. Pressure works!

The meeting went into the early hours of the morning, with an amended motion being introduced around 1:30 AM to form a special committee that will go through the Otter Tail County paperwork to determine who was elected delegate. This is a victory for the grassroots and a HUGE blow to Corrupt MNGOP Chair David Hann, who preferred that his unilateral decision to remove ALL delegates stand.

We're not in the clear just yet. There will certainly be efforts by David Hann and his cronies to derail the committee process. So Action 4 Liberty will work with conservatives in Otter Tail County to ensure a fair and rule following process is conducted. 

The Minnesota Campaign Finance Board dropped a two-year-old complaint against Action 4 Liberty on Monday. The Board is made up of Governor Tim Walz employees, which explains why the process was so long and drawn out.

In the extra-judicial court called the Campaign Finance Board, guilt is assumed before innocence. Therefore, the body will take any complaint, regardless of evidence, and launch a full-throated investigation that threatens the operational strength of a campaign or organization.

The complaint alleged that Action 4 Liberty illegally contributed to the campaign of a gubernatorial candidate in 2022, despite the campaign paying fair-market value for access to A4L materials. 

The complaint against Action 4 Liberty was filed in May of 2022 to slow down efforts to expand the conservative base and secure more legislative victories in St. Paul. You see, plenty of politicians have complained about Action 4 Liberty’s method of confrontational politics – because it forces them to spring into action. 

You see, Senate Victory Fund Staffer Mike Campbell used a Republican volunteer from Winona to file multiple complaints against Action 4 Liberty on his behalf. He found the volunteer so he could avoid being publicized. Luckily, our team uncovered the truth.
