Corrupt Otter Tail GOP BANS 33 Duly Elected Conservative Delegates from Convention

Across our state, a handful of local Republican Party units have tilted the scale, rigged endorsements, and purged true conservatives from the party. This has all been done in an effort to prop up Establishment candidates and party officers, while grassroots, conservative activists have been left to the wayside.

Last weekend, in Otter Tail County, the local GOP leadership BANNED 33 duly elected conservatives delegates from attending their GOP Convention because they were calling out corruption and allegedly supported Nathan Miller’s Senate campaign against the Establishment picked, Jordan Rasmusson last fall. This was their first public meeting since March of last year because the Executive Board of the Otter Tail County GOP only meets behind closed doors.

Shockingly, a small, rural county GOP that never meets publicly has attracted large donors, PACs and Twin Cities lobbyists. The Party's Campaign Finance Board report shows that they raised a whopping $42,175 last year, an amount that far exceeds what other rural county GOP units raise.  90% of those funds came from large donors, PACs and Twin Cities lobbyists which were likely bundled by what's described as the "kingmaker" for the Otter Tail County Republican Establishment, Tommy Merickel. Otter Tail County Republican's treasurer is Laura Merickel.

Here are portions of the Campaign Finance Report:

Here's a look at some of the lobbyists and PACs who gave to this small, rural County GOP (Person with "Registered ID" means a lobbyist):

SEE FULL CAMPAIGN FINANCE REPORT

Tommy Merickel, a backer of RINO Jordan Rasmusson, is not only the supposed kingmaker of the area, he's also the mover and shaker behind the anti-conservative organization, the Jobs Coalition. Former Rep Erik Mortensen exposed this in a recent video.

The Jobs Coalition is the loophole the St. Paul Swamp Republicans use to get corporate funding into elections to defeat conservative candidates in the primary. The Jobs Coalition and Lobbyist Legislator Kurt Daudt spent over $158,000 against conservatives Rep Erik Mortensen, Mark Bishofsky, and Mike Weiner. Luckily, they lost in all those races.

According to local sources, the people that serve as leaders of the Otter Tail GOP are a mix of Rasmusson and Merickel’s circle (including Rasmussen’s wife as Secretary and Jordan’s best friend as Deputy Chair).

WHERE THIS ALL STARTED

On February 1st 2022, individuals attended their local caucus and had the opportunity to run to become delegates so they could participate and vote in Endorsing Conventions, amongst other things. People can also be voted in absentia if they cannot attend the caucus. Dozens of new grassroots conservatives got involved for the first time in the political process hoping to change politics at the Capitol and in Otter Tail County.

However, they were instantly met with resistance and their activation was seen as a threat to the order. We're told that the Rasmusson/Merickel crew added 26 delegate names to the delegate and alternate rolls between the caucus on Feb. 1st and Feb. 25th when delegate lists were sent to campaigns, none of which were caucus attendees or delegates voted in absentia. At the March 19th Otter Tail BPOU Convention, the issue was raised over 26 names added to the delegate and alternate rolls. With further research, this number jumped up to 32 by the Endorsing Convention on April 23rd. Just like we exposed in Morrison County, Otter Tail County GOP was caught adding delegates and alternates after the caucus which violates both the MNGOP and Otter Tail Republican’s Constitutions!

The rules read that delegates must be elected "at their defined precinct caucus."

The MNGOP Constitution also spells this out:

Only individuals who attended the caucus, ran for delegate, and won the votes of their precinct are duly elected.

This is fraud very similar to election fraud and proof that the GOP will rig Endorsements for RINOs. Candidate Nathan Miller argued for the original caucus lists to be released so they can be compared with the attendance of the Endorsing Convention. That request was denied, but the number of delegates to the endorsing convention was eventually made available. Caucus conveners from 2 of the 5 caucus locations took pictures of the delegate rolls for the District and were able to compare them to the numbers sent to the MNGOP and found that 13 delegates, and 19 alternates were added in just a dozen of the 92 total county precincts. This was discovered only seeing 30 of the 92 precincts. Andy Bradrick put together a sheet of this discrepancy:

Miller than requested an audit of the caucuses and Convention of Otter Tail County. The Establishment refused to comply with any transparency measures.

Certain GOP officials knew it was all rigged and did nothing to stop it! GOP State Executive Officer for the 7th Congressional District Bill Nichol made damning statements to conservative activist Carol Hexum in a leaked phone call acknowledging the fraud but dismissing it because “for right now, winning is more important than having a perfect election.” Nichol is heard in the audio saying that “all indications don’t support Jordan [Rasmussen] being an honest and upright person.”

The GOP covered up election fraud because they did not want accountability for the sham convention they held. Following the convention, Rasmusson went on to beat Miller by an extremely narrow margin in the primary, most likely because he “won” the GOP Endorsement.

LAST SATURDAY'S CONVENTION

Otter Tail County held its non-election year convention last Saturday to determine new Party leadership. But they disenfranchised the voice of 33 delegates who were duly elected by caucus attendees last year. So much for upholding democratic values!

Delegates and alternates were removed because the BPOU accused them of supporting a "third party candidate" over the "Republican nominee" in the general election (Nathan Miller's write in campaign). However, Nathan Miller did not belong to a third party and is a duly elected GOP delegate. Delegates who supported Miller's general election campaign is what the BPOU used as to justify them getting banned.

The MNGOP MUST act on this matter. If the local party unit is working against the mission of the Party and the grassroots, it is no longer legitimate. Because they wouldn’t allow 33 individuals to vote on leadership races, a new convention must be called and delegate credentials restored.

Another reason the convention was a sham was that delegates were not notified of the meeting in proper time. According to the Otter Tail County Republican Constitution, all delegates must be given their convention call 10 days in advance to the convention. Some delegates did not receive a convention call at all! See an example below of delegates being notified that they will not be credentialed:

Delegates were also only given 8 days advance, which would make the whole convention a phony scam. See Article 9, Section 1 of their Constitution below:

There is corruption at all levels of government and political parties in our nation and state. The MNGOP has proven time and time again that they favor politics over patriots. They will cover up and commit fraud against regular Americans fighting for freedom. The Democrats will screw us to our face and RINOs do it behind our backs.

Local GOP Conventions are happening throughout Minnesota this year in the months of February and March. These meetings decide your local leadership, bylaws, and elect State Central Committee delegates. To learn more about the process and see if you are eligible to participate, check out our video that explains everything!

Action 4 Liberty is the leading organization in Minnesota for freedom, election integrity, and calling out corruption. Both Democrats and Republicans need to be held accountable and it is up to common Patriots like us to do it. GET INVOLVED! If we don’t have integrity in our elections and endorsements, we have nothing!

Radical Democrat Wants Gun Registration, State License to Own Firearm

State Senator John Marty has introduced an “omnibus bill” of crazy second amendment infringements, including a state database of firearm owners.

His bill, SF 1723, introduces the perhaps the most extreme gun control proposals in the nation. If passed, the legislation would be on par with New York’s anti-gun laws.

Here’s just a handful of items that John Marty hopes to put into state law:

  • State level gun registry of all gun owners
  • License required from Commissioner of Public Safety to own a firearm
  • Liability insurance required for all gun owners
  • Criminal penalities for buying or transferring more than one firearm within 30 days
  • A BAN on magazines that hold more than ten rounds
  • A BAN on semi-automatic weapons

That’s right, this bill would ban firearms like the AR-15 or the Remington R-25. Take a look!

Rural Democrat Senators like Grant Hauschild are put in a real tough place with this legislation. On one hand, he is all on board with the far-left and their evil agenda. On the other hand, he has to consider that he represents one of the highest concealed carry ownership Senate Districts in the state of Minnesota. His vote for this legislation would almost certainly cost him his seat in 2026.

Perhaps Senator Hauschild needs to be reminded how extreme this legislation is. Contact his office in St. Paul with his contact information below:

Remember, the Minnesota Senate has a one seat DFL majority. If even one Democrat defects from the rest of the party on a bill, the bill is dead. Remind Grant Hauschild that he is at the will of his voters, not his party. Visit his Senate profile page here.

Democrat Rep Jerry Newton Also Wants to Ban Gas Powered Zambonis

Yesterday, Action 4 Liberty published a story detailing Swing-District Representative Jerry Newton’s plan to ban gas-powered lawn mowers. Shortly after publishing, our team uncovered another insane proposal from Newton - an idea that should land him in the penalty box.

Newton’s HF 1716 would BAN the sale of gas powered zambonis – or, “ice resurfacing machines” in the state of Minnesota. Don’t take my word for it, read his nine-line piece of legislation below:

Come 2025, your local sports arena (likely subsidized by taxpayer dollars) will need to opt for the premium ice resurfacing machine. All-electric Zamboni machines cost about $200,000!

This is just one more example of the far-left’s obsession with power. Whether it be speech, Zambonis, or high school mascots they don’t like – Democrats will show their authoritarian mentality.

Reach out to your local elected officials and let them know what you think of their authoritarian proposals.

Democrat Jerry Newton Introduces Bill to Ban Gas Powered Lawn Mowers

Minnesota Democrats have made it their mission to ban, regulate, and tax Minnesotans into oblivion. We're reported about their crazy bills. But this new one by a radicalized metro Democrat takes the cake!

Democrat Representative Jerry Newton introduced legislation yesterday that would ban the sale of gas-powered lawn mowers, leaf blowers, hedge clippers, chainsaws, lawn edgers, string timmers, and brushcutters. And get this... stores will have to ditch this equipment in less than 3 years!

Here's the language of this crazy legislation:

Minnesota is without a doubt the new laboratory for experimental far-left policies, and Minnesotans will hurt because of it.

Jerry Newton – the author of HF 1715 – barely won his House seat in 2022. He was put over the finish line by a measly 232 votes. If the constituents in his district got word of this Green New Style proposal coming from him, he could be in trouble.

Minnesota Democrats Push to Ban “Offensive” High School Mascots

Nobody gets more offended than far-left white women in the suburbs. Being a member of this class, Representative Laurie Pryor (DFL-Minnetonka) seeks to correct the injustices brought about by high school football teams. More specifically, she seeks to ban American Indian mascots from Minnesota High schools.

Her bill, HF 1269, contains over 100 pages of language that enacts sweeping changes to education in Minnesota. Buried deep in her bill is language that would bar schools across the state from having a Native American mascot or use Native American imagery for their sports teams.

According to Pryor’s legislation, this includes a “name, symbol, or image that depicts or refers to an American Indian Tribe, individual, custom, or tradition to be used as a mascot, nickname, logo, letterhead, or team name of the district or school within the district.”

Native Americans who attend these schools actually embrace the imagery and have no real desire to change it. Red Lake High School, for example, is made up almost exclusively of Native American students. Home to “the Warriors,” these students bang drums to a flag song before their sports games reminiscent of Native American practices. Faculty at the school have said they have faced little pressure to change.

Leave it to Twin Cities liberals to interfere with something they know nothing about. The legislation has been referred to the Education Policy Committee and is expected to come to the floor. The Senate companion, SF 1311, has five authors and is also expected to be debated.

Democrats Push to Make MN Sanctuary State for Child-Genital Mutilation

There is no doubt that Minnesota Democrats are insane. Democrat State Representative Leigh Finke just gave you more evidence of the fact. Finke (a man pretending to be a woman) introduced HF 146, allowing the state to ignore court orders from other states prohibiting so-called “gender-affirming” genital mutilation surgeries for minors.

Instances of surgeries to affirm the “gender identity” of minors has grown drastically in recent years. This mutilation includes facial reconstruction, double mastectomies, and genital reconstruction or removal. Dr. Shayne Taylor of the Vanderbilt University transgender clinic publicly admitted that the operation is a “big money maker” for the medical establishment.

In the Minnesota House, Finke’s bill has 35 authors – all left-wing Democrats. If passed, HF 146 will make Minnesota a “sanctuary state” for genital mutilation for minors. More specifically, it will prohibit law enforcement from other states from saving the child from undergoing this life-altering process.

Make no mistake; this legislation is a big deal. California recently passed this same legislation, which has already had a tremendous impact on children and families. The DailyWire reported on January 6th that a 9-year-old Texas boy was abducted and brought to California to seek gender-affirming “care.” Despite protests from the father, California law will protect the mother and her efforts to “transition” her son from a boy to a girl.

If passed, deranged parents from all over the Midwest will drag their children to Minnesota. If court orders are issued against these parents in other states, Minnesota law will not enforce them. Despite maintaining purple state status, the laws in the North Star State will soon reflect that of the most liberal parts of California.

Uncovered: Tim Walz' Support of the Globalist - World Economic Forum

“You will own nothing and be happy.” “You will eat bugs.” “Your every move will be tracked.” “The United States will not be the superpower of the world, globalist countries will.”

There are evil forces in the world that want people to be slaves for their government. The WEF is perhaps the biggest enemy we have in this fight. They are anti-America, anti-freedom, and anti-human.

We have witnessed the destruction of our state thanks to Tim Walz. Rioting, crime, mandates, high taxes, and withholding surplus money from taxpayers are all thanks to Walz. Many have suspected Walz is a globalist with special interests puppeteering him, we can now confirm this fact.

Along with his love of China and the CCP, Tim Walz is an avid supporter of Klaus Schwab and the World Economic Forum’s mission and goals! This was uncovered by digging into Walz’ days in the US Congress.

Walz was one of 59 co-sponsors for HR1148 which was titled “Expressing support for the mission and goals of the World Economic Forum.” This Resolution was a perfect way for the WEF to locate their pawns to implement an anti-freedom agenda. See the full text below:

This globalist Resolution is filled with so many lies and misrepresentations of the WEF. It suggests that the WEF is supporting human advancement, partnership, peace, and prosperity! This Resolution even goes as far as to “honor and congratulate Klaus Schwab '' as well as the WEF’s 40th Anniversary!

Tim Walz’ true intentions are coming to the surface and we can now battle him as the adversary he truly is. Walz is a tyrant who wants to impose a radical Communist agenda and control We The People. We cannot give up in this fight or everything we love will be gone.

Never concede an inch to these authoritarians, our freedom is on the line!

SOS Steve Simon Trying to Completely Alter How We Elect the President

Minnesota Democrats are quickly checking off every item on their left-wing wish list. Now, Secretary of State Steve Simon is publicly proposing the passage of the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact in Minnesota.

The National Popular Vote Interstate Compact is a national movement that would hand electoral votes to the winner of the popular vote nationally, rather than the winner of that state. 16 states have already passed this legislation, creating a total of 195 electoral votes. When states with a total of 270 electoral votes pass the legislation, the compact is considered “in effect”.

Minnesota Democrats have introduced the legislation previously but have been blocked by Republicans. With newly minted control of the entire state government, there is little standing in their way. Representative Frieberg has already introduced the language in HF 642 in the House, and already has 9 co-sponsors (one of them being Republican Representative Pat Garofalo)!

In 2016, Hillary Clinton won the popular vote. If this compact was in place in 2016, Donald Trump would never have been the 45th President - which is likely the motivation by Democrats to see this legislation pass.

The Star Tribune noted this week that there is momentum with the National Popular Vote. We've heard from legislators that the NPV lobbyists are working the rounds at the Capitol.

The Electoral College exists in its current form to allow for a geographically diverse electorate. Those in highly populated states live vastly different lives than those is smaller and more rural states. Everyone deserves a voice, and our current system protects that voice.

This legislation is nothing but a backend way of destroying the electoral college. Soon, it will only matter what the voters in California, New York, and Chicago think. States like Minnesota will be left in the dust.

With Minnesota’s Chief Election’s Officer championing this legislation, it will only be a matter of time before Democrats rush it to Governor Tim Walz’ desk. Make no mistake, this is not about giving a voice to every voter, but about cementing a way for Democrats to perpetually hold control over the nation.

MN Democrats Pass Mandatory ‘Carbon Free’ Bill As Temps Reach -20

Minnesota’s experienced some of the coldest temperatures of the year last night. From the Twin Cities up to the northern woods, temps dropped down to as low as -32 degree. An arctic front brought in frigid temperatures and life threatening windchills.

Meanwhile, in the carbon energy heated Capitol building, Radical Democrats passed a radical piece of legislation that would require 80% of Minnesota's energy to be produced by carbon free sources in just 7 years; 100% carbon free by 2040. Citing the dangers of Global Warming (which is one big scam), bill author Nick Frentz (DFL - Mankato) argued the need for the bill late into Thursday's evening hours.

Temperatures outside the Capitol walls began to drop significantly. A wind chill advisory was issued for most of Minnesota, including the Twin Cities, with the potential of "dangerous wind chills" reaching -50 degrees.

The bill, HF 7, passed on a party line vote in the Minnesota Senate with 34 Democrats in support and 33 Republicans against it. Democrats have a one person majority thanks to former Republican Rep Tony Jurgens.

If you're wondering what kind of impact this radical bill will have on the global climate, good luck finding an answer. What we do know is that Minnesota's energy needs cannot be met by unreliable solar energy and wind energy. In the future, when extreme arctic blasts move through Minnesota, people will suffer as our "carbon free" energy system will not be able to adequately heat homes.

This bill caters to the corporatist agenda (Xcel Energy) that funds the Democrats while leaving smaller businesses and rural cooperatives to fall to the wayside. The Democrats proved how disingenuous their offer was by refusing to include nuclear and hydro-electric energy as “carbon neutral energy.”

The Radical Leftists wants us totally dependent on the government without freedom, property, guns, privacy, or free speech. They want all of us to use electric cars dependent on a grid of unreliable and costly energy. Nearly every single person will see a surge in the cost of electricity and some Legislators say it could be upwards of a 50% increase!

Furthermore, this Radical Democrat bill is based on a false premise that human caused global warming will lead to the disaster of our planet. This non-sense has completely hijacked the mainstream media narrative and the top institutions of science and government. No climate model can accurately predict our long term effects on global temperatures. The Climate Cultists ignore the negative effects "carbon free" policies will have on our economic system, which is on a trajectory of pulling millions of people out of poverty every month.

DFL Outraises GOP 24 to 1

In 2022, Republicans were expected to win big across the nation. In Minnesota, pundits predicted that the MNGOP would break its nearly two-decade long losing streak statewide. As you may know, that is far from what happened on election night. While many were puzzled by the Repubican losses, the latest round of campaign finance reports show all we need to know.

The Republican Party of Minnesota has been wrought with incompetence for a long time now, going as far as stabbing pro-life Republicans in the back last year. This, among other things, probably explains the GOP’s abysmal fundraising haul.

The February 1st Campaign Finance Board reports show that the MNGOP brought in a measly $1.3 million, and the DFL brought in $24 million. On top of that, the far-left Alliance for a Better Minnesota spent a whopping $18 million on leftist candidates across the state.

In terms of funding alone, conservatives got crushed. This combined with the poor messaging on abortion explains why Republicans saw a poor showing last November.

Let it be known that Minnesota is not a blue state. Even DFL chair Ken Martin acknowledges that it is a purple state. But without a competent Republican Party or solid stream of campaign funding, Democrats could keep winning.

That is why grassroots conservatives need to step up their game. If we come together, we can be a serious threat for the Left come November 2024.

Conservative groups like Action 4 Liberty are not funded by elitist billionaires like the Alliance for a Better Minnesota. We are funded by everyday people like you. If you want elitist politicians held accountable, consider giving generously today.
