Leave it to corrupt politicians and the lamestream, fake news media to spin state budget estimates to fit their narrative. While the Establishment would try to have you believe that Minnesota has a budget deficit, this is fabricated and untrue. In fact, Minnesota not only does not have a deficit but there is actually a SURPLUS that should be immediately returned to taxpayers.

A new estimate of the state budget was released by Minnesota Management and Budget which can appear confusing if you are unsure what you are looking at. This lists out current estimates for the previous, current, and future biennium budgets. The 24-25 budget was passed in 2023, the 26-27 budget was passed in 2025, and the 28-29 budget will be passed in 2027. This budget information has also detailed by former A4L President Jake Duesenberg on X.

As seen above in the “Balance before Reserves” section, there is an over $6.2B surplus listed for 26-27! That money should ALL go right back to the taxpayers! If the state did so, taxpayers would receive around $2,500 each! That would be nice to have during the Christmas season! See below:

Beneath that section is the “Budget Reserve” section which seeks to take $3.4B of the $6.2B and put it in a rainy day fund. Here’s the problem with that: The rainy day fund wasn’t necessary or used during Covid, proving it is instead a tool for the government to keep more of your hard earned money. If we didn't need it under Covid, it is clear that the fund is obsolete. See below:

Many are wondering: How are politicians and the media claiming that there is a deficit if there is a surplus? Here’s how: They are interpreting projections as fact for years 28-29. While the Uniparty did spend more than they collected for the current budget, the future spending has not even started yet, it's still about a year and a half out! It may be fair to think that the greedy politicians in the legislature will continue to grow spending but the numbers still remain only a projection. In addition, there is still a projected $811M surplus for 28-29 and the projections bake in $2B in new spending!

Even right leaning outlets like Alpha News have misreported this data to the public. Action 4 Liberty refuses to concede the narrative, we know the government has a surplus of your dollars and you deserve it back! The benefit of the a surplus going on, beyond the economic help for everyday Minnesotans, is that it forces the government to tighten their belt a bit! They have to account for having less money than before which means the politicians would have to finally cut spending!

Let’s not forget, it was Republican leadership that cemented in the bloated $14B in Democrat spending levels that originated from the Democrat trifecta in 2023 and 2024. The GOP continued $14B in Dem spending rather than fighting to reduce the budget back to a roughly $50B (pre-Covid spending levels) like Action 4 Liberty has advocated for. Instead, the RINOs kept MN’s government a corrupt mess that overspends. Republicans could have embraced their party platform and rejected the practice of unconstitutional omnibus bills but Speaker Lisa Demuth chose to continue forward the corrupt status quo by passing the 2nd biggest budget in Minnesota history.

Returning the surplus would cause a massive transfer of wealth from the government coffers to your bank account. The taxpayers deserve their money back and the government needs to drastically shrink.

Action 4 Liberty will continue to be the bulldog for MN taxpayers. While the politicians and media lie to you about our state’s budget, Patriots know that they can always come to A4L for honest, liberty-based, and pro-grassroots reporting. In order to protect liberty for the next generation, we must protect our tax dollars from corrupt politicians! 

In the heart of the Iron Range, the December 2nd Itasca County Commissioner meeting had approximately 150 citizens show up to fight back against the county’s proposed 10% property tax hike. Action 4 Liberty previously reported on the tax increase, put out the call to Patriots, and the grassroots of Itasca delivered!

During the public comment section of the meeting, basically every single person was there to trash that tax hike! It seemed the only people in the room who supported that tax increase were Commissioners Cory Smith, John Johnson, and Casey Venema and the county Auditor/Treasurer Austin Rohling. Smith supporting the tax hike is especially disappointing to Itasca locals since Smith had campaigned on lowering property taxes.

With massive public opposition to the tax increase, especially a huge 10% increase, the Commissioners knew their feet were being held to the fire. While the Commissioners have argued their political independence before, they made it clear that they were blaming the tax increase on Tim Walz and Democrats passing unfunded mandates.

Many of the citizens in Itasca were savvy enough to reject the Commissioner’s excuses. Citizens suggested the county find more to cut in their budget, tap into their budget reserves, and refuse to enforce the liberal unfunded mandates. Commissioners argued that Itasca would be facing major lawsuits and their bond rating (government debt allowance) could weaken if they did that but the Citizens made it clear: THAT IS WHAT THEY ARE DEMANDING! NO NEW TAXES!

Several Patriots also questioned the methods for evaluating property values and argued that the arbitrary and inconsistent evaluations made by the county are unacceptable. The citizens know that they are getting ripped off and are tired of it!

As seen in the clip above, an Itasca resident named James asked each of the commissioners if they thought a single citizen in that room wanted the tax hike. Each commissioner had to publicly admit that their constituents don’t want it! Individuals interested in watching the entire meeting can do so here.

Unfortunately, no citizen brought up the fact that several of the commissioners had voted last year to give themselves and several other county officials salary increases. When politicians are telling citizens to bear new costs while giving themselves salary increases, the system is broken.

While there was lots of talk about the legislature, zero members of the legislature appeared to be present at the meeting, including RINO Rep. Spencer Igo who actually lives in Itasca County. Considering that Igo commonly votes for Establishment, unconstitutional, corrupt, multi-subject omnibus bills (as seen in A4L's recent scorecard), it may not be a surprise to Itasca resident that he is not fighting for the taxpayer's interests.

The commissioners realized that all eyes were on them and that citizens were going to go nuts if they voted for the 10% tax hike. Amendments were made to the proposed plan and the tax hike has been dropped down to a 6.71% increase. Smith moved to cut $100K out of the county preservation budget and the county would not enforce road dust control policy (though locals say that this is not a new cut and they didn’t enforce it last summer). Snyder then made a stronger motion to use $1M of their budget reserves.

Many locals were disappointed to see Commissioners Snyder and Hopkins be so quiet during the majority of the meeting. As the only two commissioners who opposed the tax hike in the preliminary vote, the grassroots was hoping the two of them would be ready to rumble.

The county commissioners ultimately tabled the vote to December 16th which puts them right at the end of the deadline to pass their tax hike. This means that the grassroots pressure has worked! Citizen involvement has already brought the tax down by over 3% but the fight is not over!

Patriots in Itasca must stay involved and continue to fight the tax hike at the upcoming December 16th meeting. It is NOT ENOUGH that the tax hike has dropped a little, Itasca residents are already overtaxed and they should not be forced to pay a penny more! The grassroots is building momentum in Itasca County and Action 4 Liberty is proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with the fed-up taxpayers of our state. 

Patriots statewide can use Itasca taxpayers as a template for grassroots citizen involvement in fighting back against property tax hikes. County commissioners across the state are doing the same kind of tax increases to their citizens that Itasca is. The only way citizens can eliminate big, wasteful government is to fight back!

The Minnesota Governor race just got a whole lot more interesting! The crowded GOP field has yet again expanded with My Pillow CEO, election integrity fighter, and MAGA firebrand Mike Lindell entering the race.

The crowded field proves that Minnesotans are amped up and ready to replace national embarrassment Tampon Tim. With new reports showing that massive fraud took place in MN that funneled tax dollars to Somali Muslim terrorist group Al-Shabaab, Walz is as vulnerable as he’s ever been. From catering to the interests of taxpayer leaching Somalis to his connections with the Communist Chinese Party, it is clear that Walz does not have Minnesota citizens’ best interests at heart.

With Walz reaching record levels of unpopularity as he seeks an unprecedented third term, Minnesota Republicans can defeat him if they can bring out the over 1.5M Minnesotans who voted for President Trump in November. In a non-Presidential election year, turn-out is typically down but the GOP is going to need just about all 1.5M Trump voters to show up to vote in 2026 in order to win.

Mike Lindell has the unique opportunity of being the bridge to connect different factions of the MNGOP. As a friend and loyal ally to President Trump, there is no doubt that Mike Lindell is a hardcore MAGA Republican. In a race filled with crooked RINO politicians, an outsider businessman like Mike Lindell will be seen by many as a breath of fresh air. Since he has an authentic connection to grassroots conservatives, Lindell seems better positioned to motivate America First voters to get to the polls than RINOs like Lisa Demuth, Scott Jensen, or even Chris Madel. If MAGA voters are not represented properly, they won’t show up to vote! That’s what happened in 2022!

While Lindell’s positions on various issues are still up in the air, his endorsements for candidates like President Trump, Royce White, and Doug Wardlow allows Minnesotans to picture Lindell’s governing style.

Lindell won’t be without detractors and mud slung his way. Despite the support Lindell has from the grassroots, there is a contingency of Republicans who do not respect him.

Some worry that Lindell is not electable and would lose to Tim Walz. This is difficult to predict, MN hasn’t seen a candidate like Lindell arguably since Jesse Ventura. Some dismiss Lindell’s election integrity efforts in the Stop the Steal movement as counter-productive and factually flawed but all signs point to Lindell’s motivations being legitimate. Some also disapprove of his handling of the Tina Peters case and argue he may have not had her back all the way. Others may point to Lindell’s temperament with fears that he could fly off the handle.

Lindell clearly has the wherewithal to create and manage a successful large company and has a redemption story to tell. The transition Lindell made from a cocaine addicted party animal to a born again Christian is the very type of redemption, character-building turn-arounds that people love to hear about!

While Lindell has not run for public office before, he did run for Chair of the national Republican Party (RNC) against RINO Ronna Romney McDaniel. Then MN RNC Committeeman, now MNGOP Chair Alex Plechash did not support Lindell’s campaign. Plechash claims he voted for Harmeet Dhillon despite previously endorsing McDaniel and was even being bullied on the phone by her. In short, Lindell likely will not be able to look to failed MNGOP Chair Alex Plechash as a true ally.

According to Lindell’s CFB filing, his campaign is chaired by election integrity activist and former St. Bonifacius Mayor Rick Wieble. See below:

Action 4 Liberty will continue to give Patriots hard-hitting reporting that they cannot find anywhere else. The Governor race will be the premier focus for many Minnesotans in 2026 and Patriots are ready to kick Walz to the curb. The PPP loan fraud allegations pointed at RINO State Rep. Ron Kresha (10A) has received little media attention outside of Action 4 Liberty. The RINOs wanted to protect one of their own and the Democrats knew that if they took Kresha out, someone more conservative would replace him. Unlike the phonies on both sides of the aisle, A4L is unafraid to expose corruption no matter which party it is coming from.

A4L reported on the qui tam lawsuit filed by respected conservative attorney Nathan Hansen that alleges Kresha improperly took over $300K in tax dollars as part of the PPP loan program. Kresha’s issue, as the chief financial officer of the company, is that independent contractors were listed as employees for the purpose of collecting these PPP loans which is not allowed via Dept. of Treasury guidelines.

Hansen posted on X a document showing that Kresha’s lawyers are now claiming that Kresha cannot be prosecuted on the fraud allegations because it had been reported in the media (by Action 4 Liberty). See below:

As seen above, Kresha’s ridiculous arguments should hold no weight. Anyone could have filed the qui tam lawsuit at any point regardless of A4L reporting, fraud does not become neutralized through public reporting. 

While some RINOs like Mary Franson, Walter Hudson, and Isaac Schultz have done all that they can to cover for Kresha, the walls are closing in. The PPP loan fraud allegations have even gotten on Tim Walz’ radar, though he didn’t name Kresha likely because he supports legislative Dems protecting him. See here.

Though he'd never admit it, Kresha announced he would not seek reelection because of the mounting pressure surrounding the allegations. Kresha’s Senator, Nathan Wesenberg, has even posted a press release on the MN Republican State Senate website calling on Kresha to resign from office. See here.

Action 4 Liberty will continue to remain on the forefront of Minnesota politics by remaining committed to our mission to protect liberty for the next generation. A coup is underway in western Minnesota as Michelle Fischbach puppets fight to oust Bret Bussman as CD7 Chair. Bussman hasn’t done anything wrong and earned the position fairly by winning a majority of delegates at the March 2025 CD7 convention against incumbent Fischbach staffer Craig Bishop.

The RINOs have been desperate to attack, undermine, and discredit Bussman from the jump. Despite his opposition, Bussman appeared focused on uniting the different factions of the GOP in CD7 and showed willingness to work with all sides. Unfortunately for Bussman, the RINOs didn’t approach his win with the same openness.

Bret Bussman has received removal papers from the CD7 Executive Committee for a vote to take place on Dec. 11th, which is stacked against Bussman due to the Establishment illegitimately adding people to the committee. Bussman can just about count all his allies in the committee on a single hand but has refused to throw in the towel. See all members of CD7 Exec. Committee below:

The full removal papers can be seen toward the end of the article. They are six pages long and filled with pot-shots and digs at Bussman, even suggesting that he lacked military leadership (despite the fact that he is a 20 year Active Army retiree). As seen at the bottom of the papers, it is signed by Matthew Franzese. Franzese does not appear to be a veteran (nothing of the such listed on his LinkedIn page) himself which causes one to question how he would understand military leadership more than Bussman who served in various military leadership roles. Franzese is not just another puppet on the CD7 Committee, he is the County Attorney of Traverse County! Do the people of the very conservative Traverse County want their elected Attorney taking military potshots at an actual veteran!?!

Another reason crooked lawyer Matthew Franzese gives is that Bussman "associates and aligns with Action 4 Liberty". This means that RINOs do not want people who think similarly to A4L to even be in the party! Do RINOs really want to go down this road? Action 4 Liberty continues to gain popularity among the grassroots for our 'tell-it-how-it-is' style because the grassroots also understands that Democrats AND Establishment RINOs are destroying our country and state. The grassroots loves that A4L exposes crooked RINOs. If the Establishment REALLY wants to force A4L supporters out of the GOP, they will never win a statewide election again. A4L is representative of the base while the Establishment represents the status quo. It is also quite ironic that the complaint is that A4L attacks Republicans as the impeachment letter is designed to attack REPUBLICAN Bret Bussman!

The impeachment dirt sheet on Bussman is perhaps more pathetic than the impeachment efforts against President Trump! The Establishment is desperate to come up with anything so they write six pages of nonsense!

Beyond the above reasons, the nit-picky attacks against Bret range from nothing burgers to the smallest of small potatoes. Besides Franzese, the other CD7 Exec. Fischbach puppets calling the meeting to oust Bussman includes Jilann Axt, Gregg Kulberg, Daryl Thurn, and Lisa Murphy.

The tactics used by Fischbach’s puppets are those of children. Temper tantrums and not accepting the reality that the grassroots overtook CD7. The RINOs could not win fairly against Bret so they’re using whatever corrupt measures they can to oust him and it took them about 8 months to create this garbage.

The worst part of this coup? According to the CD7 GOP Constitution, anti-grassroots, crooked CD7 Deputy Chair Tiffany Liemiester becomes the CD7 Chair (with 2/3rd support from CD7 Exec. Committee) seemingly until the next Chair election which isn’t to take place until March 2027! According to local sources, Liemeister is the root of much of the division, vindictive attitudes, and dirty tactics used against the grassroots.

A4L first reported on the incoming coup against Bret with local sources in CD7 and published follow-up reporting that expanded on the issue and included a quote from Bussman. In short, the Establishment wants to remove Bret because, among other things, he would hold a fair endorsing convention. 

Seeing how Michelle Fischbach is becoming increasingly unpopular with conservatives in her district, the Establishment is extremely nervous that conservatives would endorse a candidate besides Fischbach at a fair convention. America First Patriots do not want swampy career politicians like Fischbach, they want liberty warriors and a fighter against the Establishment.

Sources told A4L that originally the RINOs were going to claim Bussman's Chair vote was illegitimate because Otter Tail delegates participated in the vote. As has been documented by A4L for years, the grassroots of Otter Tail has been disenfranchised at just about every turn. When they finally got to vote, the Establishment had a conniption. The Bussman impeachment dirt sheet doesn't appear to make any mention of Otter Tail, likely because their argument would mean each person elected at the March convention was illegitimately elected.

The corruption is out of control and the Establishment is doing all that they can to squash the grassroots in the party. The RINOs who are sabotaging and ousting Bussman are the problem with the MNGOP and the reason that the party loses statewide election cycle after election cycle. If you do everything you can to kick the grassroots out of your party, do not be surprised when those people disengage politically and choose to no longer vote.

The MNGOP has been its own worst enemy. If Republicans want to keep losing statewide elections, disenfranchising the grassroots is short-cut to that end. Republicans need every single vote that they can get yet the Establishment remains hell-bent on ousting anyone who isn’t completely in their cult-like worship of the Uniparty. 

Alex Plechash has proven himself to be a FAILED party chair. As admitted in the Bussman impeachment dirt sheet, Plechash supports the coup against Bussman even though Bussman is one of the major reasons Plechash is Chair in the first place! Plechash’s desire to satisfy corrupt RINOs like Tom Emmer and Michelle Fischbach continues to be insatiably dangled over his head. No matter how much Plechash serves the Establishment’s interests, they keep demanding more.

As stated earlier, Bussman has refused to concede and has done all he can to live up to the obligations he was elected to by the delegates. Regardless of the results of the Dec. 11th coup attempt, many in the grassroots will look to Bussman to follow his next steps.

The MN Governor race continues to become more and more crowded as Republicans search for the candidate they want to represent them against “seriously retarded” Tim Walz. The field gained another candidate with today’s (Monday, December 1st) announcement of attorney and Tim Walz donor Chris Madel entering the race.

A4L previously reported on Madel’s then-potential candidacy and the over $55K that he has donated to radical left Democrats around the country. In that reporting, we show each Democrat donation Madel made including $5,500 to Tim Walz, gave max donations to Biden’s 2020 and 2024 Presidential campaigns, and even donated to Jamie Raskin, one of the biggest cheerleaders for impeaching President Trump. Madel has donated to Democrats since at least 2001 and has given far more money to Dems than GOP candidates. 

Madel announced his campaign with a powerpoint presentation that notably included his excuse for being a big donor to Democrat candidates. In the speech, Madel claimed that he is in a bipartisan business and admitted to what sounded like a pay to play scheme. Madel said “Ryan Londregan is a free man today due in part to my contributions to Democrats. Of that, I have no doubt. You have a problem with that, I don’t give a sh##.” See video below:

Minnesotans of all stripes must be thinking: What did he just say?

Did he just admit that there is a pay-to-play system and that donating to Democrats will lead to them returning the favor by influencing Judges or Prosecutors? How else could donating to Democrats possibly help a lawyer win a court case?

What a way to kick off your campaign! Madel, unprompted, has admitted that he donated to Democrats to help free his legal clients! How much more blatant could corruption be!?!

Minnesota Republicans are going to demand details on Madel's donation scheme. Specifically, Madel will have to explain which Democrats he donated to that helped Ryan Londregan be free and how exactly those Democrats interfered in the judicial system to see those ends be met.

In a recent Star Tribune piece, Madel says he will make “zero apologies” for his donations and argues that President Trump also donated to Dems. Then when asked to comment on President Trump, Madel refused! It is clear that he wants to use Trump as a shield despite the fact that he gave BIG MONEY to Joe Biden and other Democrats putting Trump through Hell.

Madel doesn’t appear to lacking the ego of a politician. In the same Star Tribune piece, Madel says “The difference between me and literally the rest of [the candidates] is that I’ve actually accomplished things.” While A4L is certainly never one to shy away from trashing politicians, Madel’s insane exaggeration likely won’t be taken well by the other 12+ GOP candidates running. He also hilariously argued that no other candidate has done more to advance conservative causes than him.

Madel has also shown that he will not respect grassroots delegates by saying he will not abide by the party endorsement and will continue to the primary if he doesn’t win.

Conservatives may be shocked to look at Madel's legal career which included numerous questionable cases such as defending a Somali terrorist sympathizer or the several accused rapists he has represented.

Based on the comments that Madel has made on Day 1 of his candidacy, many conservatives will rule him out as a non-option. Conservatives want an outsider who can fix the corrupt system, not a big Democrat donor who has used the corrupt system to manipulate the justice system. Many conservatives are questioning why Alpha News has chosen to prop this individual up and make him a columnist on their website.

Action 4 Liberty will always deliver hard hitting news to Minnesotans that they cannot get anywhere else. Chris Madel has turned conservatives off of his campaign from the jump and clearly would be incapable of uniting the over 1.5M Minnesotans who supported President Trump in 2024. If America First, liberty loving conservatives are not represented on the ballot, they will not show up to vote. Action 4 Liberty will continue to be unwavering in our fight to protect liberty for the next generation.

Minnesota Republicans are on the hunt for a conservative candidate who can defeat Tim Walz and turn our state around by shrinking the size and scope of our bloated government. With Walz becoming a national embarrassment defined by being a habitual liar responsible for unbelievable amounts of fraud, Republicans could win with the right candidate. Walz lost ground for Dems as the VP candidate nationwide and even in MN, highlighting that he is a weak candidate seeking an unprecedented third term.

The crowded GOP field will be looking to differentiate themselves as they seek the party’s endorsement. Differentiation against the competition may come easier for anti-Establishment, pro-grassroots candidates while the entrenched RINO politicians will have to find bits and pieces to stand out. Despite pretending otherwise, the RINOs are proving that they never really believed in Ronald Reagan's 11th Commandment.

RINO Kristin Robbins is the candidate who likely was most negatively impacted by RINO Speaker Lisa Demuth entering the Governor race. Up until that point, Nikki Haley-backed Kristin Robbins was the lone female in the race and was the only State Representative running. Demuth’s campaign messaging focused on fraud under Walz directly undercuts Kristin Robbins, whose campaign is messaging on the same issue.

Upon Demuth entering the race, Robbins took a swing at her for cutting a backroom budget deal with Tim Walz. While Robbins did not say this when it mattered most (during the special session), A4L sounded the alarm and called out the corruption as it was all going down.

Despite Robbins' newfound complaints with the backroom budget deal, she voted for 8 of the 14 bills (the majority of bills) crafted behind closed doors by Walz and Demuth! On all kinds of critical votes, Robbins is right by Demuth’s side to pass out of control spending and liberal agenda items. They both have NO ISSUE passing corrupt, unconstitutional, multi-subject, and anti-MNGOP platform omnibus bills. Robbins was also the ringleader behind STEALING and watering down A4L’s Never Again Bill! Leadership allowed her bill to go through while permanently stalling ours in committee.

Now here’s the kicker, Kristin Robbins (barely) has a better voting record than Lisa Demuth. On A4L legislative scorecards, Robbins has a lifetime score of 41.67% and Demuth has a lifetime score of 20.83%. This means that they are BOTH voting for big government/voting against liberty more often than not on the most critical votes! Think also about what that means for Lisa Demuth, she is twice as likely to vote against liberty than a Nikki Haley RINO!

While Demuth has chosen not to strike back against Robbins and has instead chosen to compliment and praise her for her work on the Fraud Committee as Chair. However, it is in not in either of their interests to admit that the Fraud Committee is simply political professional wrestling. It is a performative tool for Republican politicians to pretend to fight fraud uncovered by the media, federal prosecutors, or the legislative auditor. Since the committee cannot compel testimony and no bills are required to go through it to receive a floor vote, many conservatives realize that crooked politicians are trying to dupe us.

Of course, the Fraud Committee only exists because of Lisa Demuth’s backroom deal with Democrats that led to the seating of radical leftist Brad Tabke despite major election fraud in his district. In Tabke’s district, 21 ballots were mistakenly trashed by election officials and Tabke was declared the winner with a 14 vote margin of error. Lisa Demuth, Kristin Robbins, and every other Representative (excluding Reps. Tom Dippel and Drew Roach) voted for the deal to seat Tabke, slapping election integrity activists across the face in the process.

While Demuth has not chosen to strike back, Nikki Haley superfan Kristin Robbins is still on the attack. In a recent campaign piece, Robbins attacks Demuth, Scott Jensen, and Kendall Qualls while arguing how she is the most electable. See below:

Establishment Republicans love to whine and complain about A4L calling out RINOs when they are guilty of the same crime! The only difference is we use truth and the principle of liberty in our critiques while the RINOs only have smokescreens and bogus attacks. As evidenced by the MNGOP's bogus condemnation of A4L, the RINO Establishment does not want to stop the attacks against the grassroots, they only want to stop the attacks against their party's crooked politicians. 

Tensions don’t appear to have always hindered Robbins’ and Demuth’s relationship. Robbins was selected by Demuth to run the Fraud Committee and the two were elected in the same State House freshmen class. See what they were like before the cat-fight broke out:

Despite Kristin Robbins receiving TWO fundraising pitches from Nikki Haley (one on Sep. 18th and one on Nov. 12th), her campaign is falling flat on its face. Minnesota Republicans do not want an anti-MAGA, big government RINO representing them against Tampon Tim. They want a clear alternative who can represent their interests and will not cave.

Action 4 Liberty will continue to keep Patriots updated with the latest and will continue to be the uncompromising, principled megaphone of the grassroots. Pretending that RINOs are liberty champions will get us no closer to liberty and A4L refuses to engage in such dishonesty. If Republicans want to defeat Tim Walz, it is going to take them inspiring the over 1.5M MN Trump voters to show up and vote in 2026. That will not happen with a weak, Establishment, anti-grassroots RINO that is bound to be rejected by the People. The MAGA base will not turn out to support a RINO, will the MNGOP listen?

The crowded GOP field for the Governor race highlights the excitement Republicans have for defeating Tim Walz and blocking an unprecedented third term. Walz’ national exposure hurt him at home and he even dragged the ticket down since they got less votes and a lower percentage of votes compared to Dem’s 2020 performance in MN. It is worth reminding readers that Walz won by over 7.5% in 2022 vs. Scott Jensen by collecting over 1.3M votes to Jensen’s 1.1M votes. The Republican nominee must be able to tap into the 1.5M Minnesotans who voted for Trump in 2024 and if they do, they can win.

Unfortunately for conservatives wanting that kind of a nominee, sources say another anti-MAGA candidate is set to emerge on Monday, December 1st. Attorney Chris Madel gained some statewide fame for his role as state trooper Ryan Londregan’s attorney. In that high profile case, Madel kept the public up to date with the latest and kept his client from unjust punishment. Madel has also gained attention for his involvement with Alpha News and his writings on their website.

Many would presume that Madel is a hardcore conservative based on how he carries himself but Patriots will be SHOCKED to see how Madel has used his money to support Democrat candidates across the country!

While some donations list different addresses than others, it appears Madel has used both his office address and home address when donating to candidates. A4L reviewed each donation and all donations seen on the FEC and CFB receipt webpages appear to be the same Chris Madel, though A4L would happily correct the record if any listed donation is inaccurate.

While the number of Democrats that Madel funds far exceeds the number of Republicans, the only GOP names you will find on his FEC and CFB receipts are a small number of RINOs like Michelle Fischbach, Tom Emmer, and Norm Coleman. Since the 2024 Presidential election, Madel has forked over $3,300 to Trump’s joint fundraising committee, clearly trying to gain favor of MAGA. He may also have to explain why his on again, off again employer, Robins Kaplin, receives funding from him with receipts in both the CFB and FEC.

Madel supported Biden and all kinds of insane Democrats, how could grassroots Republicans possibly take him seriously in a GOP primary?

His donations to Walz in the height of Covid lockdowns, to election-crook SOS Steve Simon, to Jamie Raskin who led the charge to impeach Trump, and his donations to oppose Trump in the last Presidential election shows exactly what Madel is, and that is NOT a conservative or EVEN a Republican.

It is unknown how Madel falls on many issues but he is/was a MPPOA legal defense fund member and that will be an obvious ding against him. The MPPOA is an Establishment group that fails to represent the interests of rank and file police officers. Instead, the MPPOA supports gun control, gives awards to swing district fake moderate Democrats, and even endorses drunk driving Democrats in swing districts.

A rumor emerged concerning Madel’s potential Governor run stating that Alpha News’ Liz Collin would be Madel’s running mate. However, more sources have come to A4L to say that will not happen. It remains to be seen if there is any weight to this rumor though many may question if doubling up on the same law enforcement constituency is the best ticket to defeat Tim Walz.

In the world of Minnesota tyranny, a single mother speaking out against a school board has become a major threat.

Tara Mohr was a former employee at Hometown Bank, which has a branch located within Shakopee High School. During Covid, Mohr helped activate grassroots parents to attend school board meetings to fight against masks and other useless Covid-era mandates imposed on public school children.

Mohr commented on then Rep. Erik Mortensen’s Facebook post and politely called out the corruption of Shakopee School Board Vice Chair Kristi Peterson. Following this comment, the Education (Indoctrination) Establishment went to war with Tara!

Mohr’s boss at the bank and the school’s Superintendent (Mike Redmond) began issuing demands that Tara take her comment down and she refused each time, asserting that she has every right to comment on her local Representative’s social media posts and express her concerns of any given politician. Kristi Peterson is not exempt from criticism and is not entitled to support, America is not a dictatorship for leftist school board politicians.

After Mohr refused to concede her free speech rights, she was FIRED from her job! That’s right, she was fired from her position simply for expressing an opinion that went against the interests of the Indoctrination Establishment! Erik Mortensen and grassroots Patriots rallied to her support and created a Go Fund Me page that raised over $20K!

Tara Mohr did not give up and continued fighting on by filing a lawsuit against six individuals involved in the situation. Four years has gone by and Mohr is still stuck in the courts trying to rectify her unjust termination.

Good news has emerged on Mohr’s lawsuit recently as the 8th Circuit Court recently ruled in her favor on several critical issues! Mohr won three out of six of her claims which means she will be able to have jury trials against Superintendent Mike Redmond, HomeTown Bank, and the bank’s branch Vice President Lindsey Puffer. Redmond reportedly appealed the decision so Mohr will be further stuck in legal limbo.

As one can guess, the Indoctrination Establishment is having a MELTDOWN over the court’s ruling! They are working to combine resources to create a machine that is hell-bent on taking down Tara. From district lawyers, school board attorneys, the Minnesota School Board Association (MSBA), the Minnesota Association of School Administrators (MASA), and statewide administrators are doing all that they can to prevent a court from rectifying Mohr’s unjust termination.

To realize how stacked the deck is against Mohr, individuals can look no further than Shakopee School Board member Kristi Peterson because she also serves as the current President of the statewide MSBA! The Establishment is desperate to squash Mohr but she just keeps fighting back!

This legal battle is so critical because if Mohr wins, she will open the door to others who were unjustly terminated for expressing their opinions. Being an employee at a bank within a school does not mean that you must agree with whatever the reigning Establishment on your school board says!

Punishing political speech, silencing criticism, intimidating parents, and weaponizing employment against people is exactly what is wrong with our education system. Leftists want public education to be a factory producing future leftists and that requires complete lockstep actions by staff. Mohr was just an average parent who’s views align with at least half of the country yet she was made out to be a villain.

Congratulations to Tara on the MASSIVE legal victory and good luck to her in the future legal battles she will face! If Minnesota had more hard-working Patriots who never give up like Tara, we would be on a much better path. Tara Mohr is showing Minnesotans that you do not have to bend to the will of the government and her determination will likely inspire others who feel the same way she does.

Action 4 Liberty looks forward to Tara Mohr continuing to be a thorn in the side of the Indoctrination Establishment and encourage others to fight as Tara has. Minnesota has become a cesspool of fraud under the Walz Administration and is gaining national attention. The influx of Somali migrants has led to unprecedented levels of fraud totalling billions of dollars. Detailed reporting from Ryan Thorpe and Christopher Rufo of the Manhattan Institute cite three federal detectives that say MN tax dollars funded al-Qaida linked Muslim terrorist group Al-Shabaab.

To make matters worse, the reporting says that Minnesota taxpayers are the LARGEST FUNDERS of Al-Shabaab in the world!

In 2023 alone, over $1.7B was sent back to Somalia, which is larger than their government’s annual budget and contributes 30-50% of Somalia’s GDP. This is all in addition to various humanitarian projects and funding they receive. Of course, many in the Somali community believe it is the responsibility of the U.S. to provide a welfare state for them here and provide a welfare state for the country of Somalia too.

President Trump recently announced that he will be terminating the Temporary Protected Status (TPS Program) for Somalis in Minnesota. This sets the stage to allow the Trump Administration to begin deportation operations of criminal Somalis.

In response, Walz argued that Trump was racist by targeting Somalis which perfectly exemplified what the Thorpe/Rufo reporting said was the issue. The reporting reads “...when imported clan loyalties collide with a political class too timid to offend”. 

Out of fear of offending Somalis, Democrats have chosen to pretend there is not a clear link between Somalians and mass fraud. Two former FBI officials say most large-scale fraud rings in Minnesota have been perpetrated by Somalis and even a Somali from AG Keith Ellison’s office has admitted that fraud has been unique to the Somali community.

Between all of the charges brought by former acting U.S. Attorney for MN Joe Thompson on cases related to Feeding our Future, autism centers, child care centers, and housing stabilization services, billions of MN tax dollars have been stolen. Thompson notes that the fraud is not just overbilling but oftentimes completely fictitious companies are created with the sole purpose of defrauding the system.

In most cases of the fraud that has become so rampant, the funding or distribution of funding comes from MN’s Dept. of Human Services (DHS). The state legislature passes an omnibus bill each biennium (every two years) funding each state Department including the DHS. A corresponding policy omnibus bill typically passes each biennium as well. Until 2023, DHS and the Dept. of Health were within the same state Department.

The 2023-2024 Democrat trifecta control of MN’s government increased spending to record levels which provided funds for much of this fraud. Despite A4L and grassroots sounding the alarm on out-of-control spending that is causing fraud, Republicans failed to deliver meaningful change after gaining control of the State House.

With Republican Lisa Demuth controlling the Speakership, the legislature passed the 2nd LARGEST budget in MN history. Tim Walz and Lisa Demuth have each publicly bragged about their Uniparty deal that was crafted behind closed doors. Included in their unconstitutional omnibus bills was the DHS funding bill.

As said before, it has been known for YEARS that massive fraud, notably from Somalis, was being done through money appropriated through the DHS omnibus spending bill. In 2023, only three Republicans joined Democrats in support of the DHS omnibus bill (SF2934) with that being Reps Elliott Engen (36A), Andrew Myers (45A), and Danny Nadeau (34A). Engen is now running for State Auditor and his previous vote(s) may have conservatives question whether he is prepared to take on fraud. Engen even took to social media to claim that Democrats are solely responsible for this fraud despite his vote for this legislation alongside Democrats during the Dem trifecta. The 2025 bill was passed in June, which was before MN DHS temporary commissioner Shireen Gandhi’s letter abolishing the housing stabilization program was sent to the federal government due to the fraud that has been uncovered. This action was taken by the Department on its own without binding legislative direction, highlighting Republican failure to deliver serious action.

On Monday, Nov. 24th, House Republicans put out a letter to U.S. Attorney for MN Daniel Rosen stating their support for DOJ prosecutorial investigations into this matter, yet they left out the elephant in the room by leaving out the fact that mass Somali migration has caused these issues. Despite the press release not packing all the punches it deserves, 50/67 GOP state Reps signed on causing the following to be notably absent from this fight: Reps. Pam Altendorf (20A), Paul Anderson (12A), Dave Baker (16B), Matt Bliss (2B), Elliott Engen (36A), Josh Heintzeman (6B), Jim Joy (4B), Ron Kresha (10A), Bryan Lawrence (27B), Joe McDonald (29A), Andrew Myers (45A), Danny Nadeau (34A), Bjorn Olson (22A), Aaron Repinski (26A), Joe Schomacker (21A), Nolan West (32A), and Natalie Zeleznikar (3B). Republicans failed to leverage their House control to combat fraud or make meaningful change. While the Democrats oversaw the payments in the Executive branch, many RINO legislators, including the GOP leadership, played right into the Democrats’ hand.

In fact, every single GOP State Representative except Reps. Tom Dippel (41B) and Drew Roach (58B) justified fraud by seating radical leftist Brad Tabke (54A) after it was exposed that 21 ballots were trashed and the margin of victory was just 14 votes. The GOP gave up its own leverage and acquiesced to the Democrats.

The GOP’s favorite claim of accomplishment is the establishment of the Fraud Committee. Unfortunately for the committee, it does not have the ability to compel individuals to testify, legislation is not required to pass through it for floor votes, and they have failed to uncover any fraud on their own. In example after example, fraud that is uncovered has been done by the media, federal prosecutors, and the legislative auditor, NOTHING substantial has been done or proven by the Fraud Committee! It is purely an electoral smoke screen to give conservatives the illusion that the GOP is fighting back against fraud.

The only way to eliminate fraud is to drastically cut the size and scope of government and to banish the use of omnibus bills. Multi-subject bills that could be hundreds to thousands of pages long are never actually read by politicians and they blatantly violate Article 4, Section 17 of the MN Constitution. Omnibus budget bills also violate the MNGOP platform yet many GOP politicians continue voting for them.

Action 4 Liberty will continue to prioritize truth and liberty above all. Pretending that a RINO politician is conservative does nobody any good. The Democrats had willing partners in the mentioned RINOs on funding fraud. A4L is also unafraid to draw the obvious conclusion between mass Somali migration and mass fraud in our state. The correlation is beyond clear President Trump taking steps to deliver mass Somali deportations may provide a clear chance for conservatives to finally save Minnesota.
