History was made today in the United States House of Representatives. For the first time ever, the Speaker of the House was removed from office, led by a small group of conservatives. Rep Matt Gaetz of Florida was the one who made the motion and he was joined by 7 other Republicans and all Democrats present in removing McCarthy from office.

The final vote was 216-210, with several Democrats and Republicans absent.

Kevin McCarthy made a deal with conservative members of the Republican Conference back in January when he struggled to receive the votes to become Speaker of the House. After 14 ballots, he made a deal that included a vote on a balanced budget amendment, single subject appropriation bills (instead of Continuing Resolutions or Omnibus bills) and many other items which were never delivered. After passing a Continuing Resolution on Saturday night to fund the government for another 45 days, and continue adding more debt to our children, Rep Gaetz and others decided enough was enough.

If we want to change the broken system in Washington D.C., drastic change is needed. McCarthy represented the status quo, as evidenced by his reckless spending bill and broken promises. This was a great move for the American people.

More importantly, it shows that a small group of patriots can affect real changes in politics.

Adam Fravel, the former boyfriend of Maddie Kingsbury, has now been charged with first degree murder and first degree murder while committing domestic abuse of Kingsbury. We covered this story shortly after Maddie went missing in March and as a community rose up to help a family find their young mother whose life was ended tragically.

As you may recall, it took two months for searchers to find Maddie's body. Immediately after finding her, Fravel was arrested and initially charged with two counts of murder in the second degree. However, a grand jury returned an indictment yesterday of two additional murder charges in the first degree after listening to 31 witnesses.

At today's court hearing, unconditional bail terms were lifted from $2 Million to $3 Million and conditional bail terms were lifted from $1 Million to $2 Million. Fravel has been in custody since his June arrest, unable to post the previous bail amount. Trial in this case won't likely happen until next spring at the earliest. An omnibus hearing is tentatively scheduled for December 14th, 2023.

Let's get justice for Maddie and her family!

On Saturday, the Republican-held House passed a 45-day stopgap bill that would continue to fund the Federal Government. It was immediately passed by the Democrat controlled Senate and signed by President Biden, avoiding a partial government shutdown with minutes to spare. Republicans will now have over a month to negotiate a long-term solution among its members. 

Last week, former President Trump rightly called on Republicans to let the government shut down and defund the bureaucracy that targets Americans.

This stopgap measure maintains the status quo for everything except the Ukraine war. Further funding for the Ukraine military was stripped at the last minute. This was a good move but is perhaps the only good thing about this bill.

It's evident that Republicans should have held their ground and allowed a government shutdown to occur. This decision to capitulate to pressure from the left represents a missed opportunity to stand up for conservative principles and American taxpayers.

The GOP should be a beacon of fiscal conservatism, not succumbing to the demands of far-left Democrats. It's disheartening to see the party's leadership unable to unite its members and stand firm on important issues.

A government shutdown might have been a slight inconvenience, but it could also have been a powerful message to the American people. It would have demonstrated that Republicans are committed to reining in excessive spending and addressing the fiscal challenges facing our nation. A short-term shutdown would not have resulted in catastrophic consequences, and essential services would have continued. Instead, Republicans missed an opportunity to make a principled stand and protect the interests of the American public.

School boards in Minnesota are typically hostile to all things traditional and American. In recent years, the Pledge of Allegiance has been attacked and even removed from some schools. Now, one of the most conservative school districts in the state of Minnesota is talking about removing the Pledge of Allegiance.

In a video shared on Tik Tok by Cassie Fredregill, the Little Falls school board chair Sharon Ballou states that “saying the pledge every day has been quite a discussion...that is actually considered a form of indoctrination when they do that.”

Little Falls is the largest city in Morrison County. In 2020, the county voted to re-elect President Trump 75.78% to Biden’s 22.33%. .

The Pledge of Allegiance is not about worshipping government or a political leader. It is about maintaining the last few threads of a national identity that Americans share. When schools eliminate the pledge, there is truly nothing left that brings hundreds of millions of people together.

With the abrupt resignation of Democrat State Representative Ruth Richardson on September 1st, Minnesota 52B will see a special election to fill the seat on December 5th. Richardson served as regional director of Planned Parenthood while simultaneously legislating on their behalf. 

A field of candidates have announced their intentions to replace her, including four Democrats, a Republican, and a Libertarian. 

Those Democrats compete for the nomination in a primary election on November 16th. They include liberal activist Chris Whitfield, Mendota Heights City Councilman Jay Miller, District 196 School Board member Bianca Virnig, and Democrat legislative aide Cynthia Callais. From a quick glance at their campaign websites, all candidates campaign on “progressive” efforts to make Minnesota’s government even bigger and more wasteful. 

Cynthia Callais appears to be an early frontrunner for the Democrat nomination, raking in endorsements from far-left Democrats like Representative Heather Edelson and Senator Scott Dibble.

The Republican candidate, Cynthia Lonnquist, was the GOP nominee for 52B in 2022, losing the seat to Richardson by a large 23.5% margin. As of writing, her 2022 campaign website was not active. A 2022 voter guide says that she campaigned on creating "The BEST Economy," "The BEST Education," and "The BEST and Safest communities."

Libertarian candidate Charles Kuchlenz, on the other hand, does have a website that is available and accessible. His campaign appears to focus on “fiscal responsibility, limited government, and education choice,” things that are sorely lacking in Minnesota’s current bureaucratic apparatus. According to his X (formerly Twitter) account, he is a Navy Veteran.

Despite early predictions for this left-leaning legislative seat, anything can happen in a special election. Now that voters have seen what far-left Democrats can do with total and complete control of the government, they may have second thoughts about sending another one to St. Paul.

Since taking over the state, Minnesota Democrats have: 

• PASSED red flag laws.
• RAISED and CREATED new taxes.
• SPENT the record-shattering $21 billion taxpayer surplus.
• ELIMINATED any kind of remaining protections for the unborn.
• CREATED a dystopian “bias registry” to track unfavorable speech.
• AND so much more…

Now is the opportunity for voters to voice their opinions on these ridiculous policies. Should voters choose to reject the leftist candidate for this seat, it would send an overwhelming message to Democrats in the 2024 legislative session – stop the socialist games, or lose re-election.

Far-left Democrats have long pushed for overreaching and unconstitutional gun control legislation. Frustrated with the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution, California’s Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom is proposing a constitutional amendment that would effectively repeal the right to keep and bear arms.

Newsom’s 28th amendment petition has many hoops to jump through before becoming a reality. This would need to be approved by 2/3rds of both houses of Congress and then be ratified by 3/4ths of state legislatures.

If passed, his amendment would:

• Raise the age to purchase a firearm from 18 to 21.
• Mandate extreme universal background checks.
• Institute unreasonably long waiting times on firearm purchases.
• BAN supposed “assault” weapons.

Last Friday, Newsom was particularly fired up about his proposal after a Federal Judge struck down his state’s unconstitutional “high-capacity magazine” ban. In a statement via X (formerly Twitter), the leftist Governor stated that “Our gun safety laws will continue to be thrown out by NRA-owned federal judges until we pass a Constitutional Amendment to protect our kids and end the gun violence epidemic in America.”

Little did Newsom realize that he is reaffirming the liberty argument on guns. Gun control is unconstitutional and has no place being implemented by state or federal authorities.

Both Newsom and the Democrat machine know that their efforts spit in the face of the United States Constitution. Unfortunately, they do not care. 

Even if Newsom passed his longshot amendment to the United States Constitution, no government can restrict a God-given right. This includes the right to self-defense and self-determination.

Any narrative that criticizes the left-wing status quo is decried by the elites as “racist.” This couldn’t be more clear with a new petition gaining traction that is looking to ban a t-shirt and flag vendor from the Minnesota State Fair in future years. Their crime? Selling shirts that say “Lake Calhoun.”

That’s right, the left is so outraged that a vendor would refer to Lake Calhoun by its traditional name instead of the woke new “Bde Mka Ska” name. The name was changed to what the left calls its original Dakota name in 2018.

It’s not even an exaggeration to say this is what they are upset about. In fact, in their long list of grievances with the vendor, this is the first issue they mention.

Other merchandise they take issue with includes "try that in a small-town" t-shirts, which is a reference to the controversial (but accurate) Jason Aldean song.

Their petition is hosted on Change.org, a website used for several worthless left-wing outrage efforts. To the surprise of our team, the petition actually has 337 signatures. All of this to BAN a vendor that sells shirts that say “Lake Calhoun.”

Cancel culture is very real. It has nothing to do with fighting for what’s right, but instead forcing a worldview down everyone’s throats.

In the free market of ideas, the best ones deserve to win out. If you don't like it, you should introduce a booth at the fair with your own leftist propaganda (though I bet it won't be too popular).

We were actually surprised that our “Dump Biden” booth was not included in the petition of vendors that should be banned. 

For years, the Minnesota Republican Party has been on a downward trajectory. As of January 2023, the party has no significant role in Minnesota’s government whatsoever. This can be blamed on a plethora of missteps by party leadership, which have been called out by activists for years.

Now, an effort to set the party straight has come underway. 

On September 1st, an organization called “Rebuild the MNGOP” sent an email to Republican State Central Delegates. Among a variety of issues, the organization claims that Republican State Chair Dave Hann has failed to follow state law in regard to the recently passed state statutes 202A.12 and 202A.13.

Action 4 Liberty chatted with activist Dave Hughes, who signed the initial “Rebuild the MNGOP” email. He says that the party has not submitted a proper Constitution to the Minnesota Secretary of State since 1988.

Chair Hann disputes the need to update the Constitution with the Secretary of State, saying that “...the SOS emailed us a few months ago on June 26 confirming that the MN GOP qualified for major party status based on the results of the 2022 election.”

Only time can tell whether or not the GOP will continue to qualify as a major party in Minnesota. The fact that this discussion is even taking place shows that the party is in turmoil.

On another front, a lawsuit has been filed to disqualify Republican frontrunner Donald Trump from even being present on the primary and general election ballots in Minnesota. Shall this effort be successful, Republicans could be without a presidential candidate in the state. 

Republican activists focus their blame on Chairman Hann. Under his leadership, the party notoriously drained its bank account – leaving an embarrassingly low $53 in its account. Simultaneously, the party has focused its fire on groups like Action 4 Liberty, who stand for limited government and individual liberties.

Make note that the Minnesota Republican Party celebrated left-wing attacks on Action 4 Liberty in election year 2022. The year where conservative candidates barely lost their races. 

In fact, the Republican Party cut off data access to many conservative candidates for office just weeks before their 2022 primary elections. It is almost like he wanted them to fail!

Dave Hann is more interested in picking bitter fights with the grassroots activists of his party than he is holding far-left Democrats accountable. 

Should the “Rebuild the MNGOP” effort be successful, there is a chance that Dave Hann is removed by Republican State Central Delegates.

Administrators and teachers in the Anoka-Hennepin School District transitioned a middle school aged girl without her parent's knowledge or approval, according to a whistleblower teacher we spoke to. Staff referred to her with male pronouns and a male name during school hours, but disguised what they were doing when around the mother, resorting back to birth name and pronouns.

We first learned about this story from a post in the Anoka-Hennepin Parents Alliance Facebook page. The anonymous teacher claimed that "parents [are] intentionally being kept in the dark while schools affirm their child's gender transition."

A California woman recently won a $100,000 settlement with a school district that transitioned her daughter without her knowledge. That girl eventually decided to go back to her birth gender. 

We spoke with the Anoka-Hennepin School District teacher who believes the mother of the young girl may still not know what happened when her daughter was in the care of teachers and administrators. According to the teacher, the middle school girl was adamant with staff that her mother was against the "transition."

Teachers and administrators held several meetings about the case and overwhelmingly supported the decision to keep the mother in the dark while catering to the new pronouns demands of the young girl. According to the whistleblower teacher, when the mother was present at the school for things like parent/teacher conferences, staff would go back to referring to the young girl by female pronouns and use her birth name.

Anoka-Hennepin school district sent us their policy which states "staff should be using the preferred pronoun of a student 'after conferring with the parents and student.'" Staff who encounter "violations of this policy are required to report them to the appropriate district staff," according to the document they provided.

How prevalent is this in the school systems in Minnesota? We don't know right now, but the Leftists running Minnesota's government believe young children are always right when it comes to gender transitioning. Governor Tim Walz and the Democrat legislature passed a bill this year that allowed children as young as 6 years old to get life altering surgeries against the wishes of a parent. What a sick and disturbing world we are living in!

The banana republic of the United States has reached an all time low as the Deep State and corrupt attorneys fight to remove President Trump from primary and general election ballots across our country. This fight is now at our doorsteps in Minnesota as RINOs and Dems are working together to remove Trump from our primary and general election ballots. A lawsuit was filed with the Sec. of State’s office by a group called “Free Speech For People”. Despite their name, this group is seeking to limit the most basic example of free speech citizens can use, their vote. The lawsuit alleges that Trump tried to “overturn the government” and caused an “insurrection”. They seek to remove Trump from ballots by misusing the 14th Amendment.

It is not just this national group that is trying to upend our elections, it is RINOs right here in Minnesota! Former GOP appointed MN Supreme Court Justice Paul Anderson, former Steele County GOP co-chair David Thul, as well as radical leftist Democrats, are behind the witch hunt against Trump. Thul is a longtime establishment RINO/Never Trumper who left the GOP in 2016 yet still flaunts his Republican credentials for power grabs.

To make matters worse, the corrupt law firm that has filed erroneous, B.S. complaints against Action 4 Liberty are also involved! Corrupt Charles Nauen of Lockridge Grindal Nauen is an attorney for this ridiculous lawsuit and is a known opponent of liberty. 

To refresh your memory, this is the group that represented the Democratic Party’s failed CFB complaint against Action 4 Liberty in 2021 because of our fight against unconstitutional lockdowns. On July 29th, 2021 the CFB correctly determined there was no probable cause for the complaints.

Since the complaint was dismissed, Walz appointed David Asp to the CFB. Asp is the definition of conflicts of interest because he additionally is a member of Lockridge Grindal Nauen's firm and the Chairman of the Jobs Coalition. Asp has been an opponent of A4L and consistently sided against our organization in other BS complaints, even against the legal advice from CFB counsel. The Jobs Coalition serves as the Establishment/Kurt Daudt’s slush fund to back RINOs over endorsed liberty champions, as we reported, they ended up with ZERO wins in the primary!  

The very same people who target Action 4 Liberty are going after President Trump!

To make matters worse, election fraud lover SOS Steve Simon’s representation against this case will come from Antifa Keith Ellison and the AG’s office! This means that the only defense Trump will have at the state level is a radical leftist who would also love to remove him from the ballot. How’s that for a crooked and rigged system?

It is painfully clear that the Establishment RINOs are deeply afraid of a second Trump term. It comes as no surprise that the Swamp wants nothing to do with “Draining the Swamp”. It is shocking that so-called Republicans would weaponize the government against political opponents but it is par for the course with crooked politicos. They fear President Trump and the America First agenda because it places the priorities of ‘We The People’ over corrupt insiders. Action 4 Liberty and President Donald J. Trump have shared enemies because we similarly fight for freedom and truth. This case may need to be resolved with the US Supreme Court in order to re-establish Trump’s ballot access.
