In the world of Minnesota tyranny, a single mother speaking out against a school board has become a major threat.

Tara Mohr was a former employee at Hometown Bank, which has a branch located within Shakopee High School. During Covid, Mohr helped activate grassroots parents to attend school board meetings to fight against masks and other useless Covid-era mandates imposed on public school children.

Mohr commented on then Rep. Erik Mortensen’s Facebook post and politely called out the corruption of Shakopee School Board Vice Chair Kristi Peterson. Following this comment, the Education (Indoctrination) Establishment went to war with Tara!

Mohr’s boss at the bank and the school’s Superintendent (Mike Redmond) began issuing demands that Tara take her comment down and she refused each time, asserting that she has every right to comment on her local Representative’s social media posts and express her concerns of any given politician. Kristi Peterson is not exempt from criticism and is not entitled to support, America is not a dictatorship for leftist school board politicians.

After Mohr refused to concede her free speech rights, she was FIRED from her job! That’s right, she was fired from her position simply for expressing an opinion that went against the interests of the Indoctrination Establishment! Erik Mortensen and grassroots Patriots rallied to her support and created a Go Fund Me page that raised over $20K!

Tara Mohr did not give up and continued fighting on by filing a lawsuit against six individuals involved in the situation. Four years has gone by and Mohr is still stuck in the courts trying to rectify her unjust termination.

Good news has emerged on Mohr’s lawsuit recently as the 8th Circuit Court recently ruled in her favor on several critical issues! Mohr won three out of six of her claims which means she will be able to have jury trials against Superintendent Mike Redmond, HomeTown Bank, and the bank’s branch Vice President Lindsey Puffer. Redmond reportedly appealed the decision so Mohr will be further stuck in legal limbo.

As one can guess, the Indoctrination Establishment is having a MELTDOWN over the court’s ruling! They are working to combine resources to create a machine that is hell-bent on taking down Tara. From district lawyers, school board attorneys, the Minnesota School Board Association (MSBA), the Minnesota Association of School Administrators (MASA), and statewide administrators are doing all that they can to prevent a court from rectifying Mohr’s unjust termination.

To realize how stacked the deck is against Mohr, individuals can look no further than Shakopee School Board member Kristi Peterson because she also serves as the current President of the statewide MSBA! The Establishment is desperate to squash Mohr but she just keeps fighting back!

This legal battle is so critical because if Mohr wins, she will open the door to others who were unjustly terminated for expressing their opinions. Being an employee at a bank within a school does not mean that you must agree with whatever the reigning Establishment on your school board says!

Punishing political speech, silencing criticism, intimidating parents, and weaponizing employment against people is exactly what is wrong with our education system. Leftists want public education to be a factory producing future leftists and that requires complete lockstep actions by staff. Mohr was just an average parent who’s views align with at least half of the country yet she was made out to be a villain.

Congratulations to Tara on the MASSIVE legal victory and good luck to her in the future legal battles she will face! If Minnesota had more hard-working Patriots who never give up like Tara, we would be on a much better path. Tara Mohr is showing Minnesotans that you do not have to bend to the will of the government and her determination will likely inspire others who feel the same way she does.

Minnesota has become a cesspool of fraud under the Walz Administration and is gaining national attention. The influx of Somali migrants has led to unprecedented levels of fraud totalling billions of dollars. Detailed reporting from Ryan Thorpe and Christopher Rufo of the Manhattan Institute cite three federal detectives that say MN tax dollars funded al-Qaida linked Muslim terrorist group Al-Shabaab.

To make matters worse, the reporting says that Minnesota taxpayers are the LARGEST FUNDERS of Al-Shabaab in the world!

In 2023 alone, over $1.7B was sent back to Somalia, which is larger than their government’s annual budget and contributes 30-50% of Somalia’s GDP. This is all in addition to various humanitarian projects and funding they receive. Of course, many in the Somali community believe it is the responsibility of the U.S. to provide a welfare state for them here and provide a welfare state for the country of Somalia too.

President Trump recently announced that he will be terminating the Temporary Protected Status (TPS Program) for Somalis in Minnesota. This sets the stage to allow the Trump Administration to begin deportation operations of criminal Somalis.

In response, Walz argued that Trump was racist by targeting Somalis which perfectly exemplified what the Thorpe/Rufo reporting said was the issue. The reporting reads “...when imported clan loyalties collide with a political class too timid to offend”. 

Out of fear of offending Somalis, Democrats have chosen to pretend there is not a clear link between Somalians and mass fraud. Two former FBI officials say most large-scale fraud rings in Minnesota have been perpetrated by Somalis and even a Somali from AG Keith Ellison’s office has admitted that fraud has been unique to the Somali community.

Between all of the charges brought by former acting U.S. Attorney for MN Joe Thompson on cases related to Feeding our Future, autism centers, child care centers, and housing stabilization services, billions of MN tax dollars have been stolen. Thompson notes that the fraud is not just overbilling but oftentimes completely fictitious companies are created with the sole purpose of defrauding the system.

In most cases of the fraud that has become so rampant, the funding or distribution of funding comes from MN’s Dept. of Human Services (DHS). The state legislature passes an omnibus bill each biennium (every two years) funding each state Department including the DHS. A corresponding policy omnibus bill typically passes each biennium as well. Until 2023, DHS and the Dept. of Health were within the same state Department.

The 2023-2024 Democrat trifecta control of MN’s government increased spending to record levels which provided funds for much of this fraud. Despite A4L and grassroots sounding the alarm on out-of-control spending that is causing fraud, Republicans failed to deliver meaningful change after gaining control of the State House.

With Republican Lisa Demuth controlling the Speakership, the legislature passed the 2nd LARGEST budget in MN history. Tim Walz and Lisa Demuth have each publicly bragged about their Uniparty deal that was crafted behind closed doors. Included in their unconstitutional omnibus bills was the DHS funding bill.

As said before, it has been known for YEARS that massive fraud, notably from Somalis, was being done through money appropriated through the DHS omnibus spending bill. In 2023, only three Republicans joined Democrats in support of the DHS omnibus bill (SF2934) with that being Reps Elliott Engen (36A), Andrew Myers (45A), and Danny Nadeau (34A). Engen is now running for State Auditor and his previous vote(s) may have conservatives question whether he is prepared to take on fraud. Engen even took to social media to claim that Democrats are solely responsible for this fraud despite his vote for this legislation alongside Democrats during the Dem trifecta. The 2025 bill was passed in June, which was before MN DHS temporary commissioner Shireen Gandhi’s letter abolishing the housing stabilization program was sent to the federal government due to the fraud that has been uncovered. This action was taken by the Department on its own without binding legislative direction, highlighting Republican failure to deliver serious action.

On Monday, Nov. 24th, House Republicans put out a letter to U.S. Attorney for MN Daniel Rosen stating their support for DOJ prosecutorial investigations into this matter, yet they left out the elephant in the room by leaving out the fact that mass Somali migration has caused these issues. Despite the press release not packing all the punches it deserves, 50/67 GOP state Reps signed on causing the following to be notably absent from this fight: Reps. Pam Altendorf (20A), Paul Anderson (12A), Dave Baker (16B), Matt Bliss (2B), Elliott Engen (36A), Josh Heintzeman (6B), Jim Joy (4B), Ron Kresha (10A), Bryan Lawrence (27B), Joe McDonald (29A), Andrew Myers (45A), Danny Nadeau (34A), Bjorn Olson (22A), Aaron Repinski (26A), Joe Schomacker (21A), Nolan West (32A), and Natalie Zeleznikar (3B). Republicans failed to leverage their House control to combat fraud or make meaningful change. While the Democrats oversaw the payments in the Executive branch, many RINO legislators, including the GOP leadership, played right into the Democrats’ hand.

In fact, every single GOP State Representative except Reps. Tom Dippel (41B) and Drew Roach (58B) justified fraud by seating radical leftist Brad Tabke (54A) after it was exposed that 21 ballots were trashed and the margin of victory was just 14 votes. The GOP gave up its own leverage and acquiesced to the Democrats.

The GOP’s favorite claim of accomplishment is the establishment of the Fraud Committee. Unfortunately for the committee, it does not have the ability to compel individuals to testify, legislation is not required to pass through it for floor votes, and they have failed to uncover any fraud on their own. In example after example, fraud that is uncovered has been done by the media, federal prosecutors, and the legislative auditor, NOTHING substantial has been done or proven by the Fraud Committee! It is purely an electoral smoke screen to give conservatives the illusion that the GOP is fighting back against fraud.

The only way to eliminate fraud is to drastically cut the size and scope of government and to banish the use of omnibus bills. Multi-subject bills that could be hundreds to thousands of pages long are never actually read by politicians and they blatantly violate Article 4, Section 17 of the MN Constitution. Omnibus budget bills also violate the MNGOP platform yet many GOP politicians continue voting for them.

Action 4 Liberty will continue to prioritize truth and liberty above all. Pretending that a RINO politician is conservative does nobody any good. The Democrats had willing partners in the mentioned RINOs on funding fraud. A4L is also unafraid to draw the obvious conclusion between mass Somali migration and mass fraud in our state. The correlation is beyond clear President Trump taking steps to deliver mass Somali deportations may provide a clear chance for conservatives to finally save Minnesota.

While much focus has gone to the GOP Governor race to determine Tampon Tim’s general election opponent, another statewide race is gaining attention and features a growing list of candidates. The U.S. Senate race may prove to be a competitive opportunity for Republicans with incumbent Democrat Tina Smith retiring but Republicans can only win if they have a candidate who is representative of the grassroots conservative base.

2024 GOP U.S. Senate nominee Royce White and Navy Seal veteran Adam Schwarze are leading the pack but sources tell A4L a new candidate will be entering the mix: Former failed MNGOP Chair David Hann.

Previous A4L reporting highlighted that Hann was speculating his interest in a run for Governor but it appears that Hann has since chosen to pursue a race with less candidates announced. David Hann should know that he has NO CHANCE regardless of the race he chooses!

David Hann’s legacy is A4L exposing that he spent tens of thousands of dollars bankrolling a ‘white dude for Kamala’ with MNGOP funds. If you have ever donated to the MNGOP or paid convention fees, you money may have been spent by David Hann funding a big government leftist who spews propaganda for the Democrat Party.

Hann refused to reveal the identity of the Kamala supporter he was funding with party dollars even after the State Central Committee voted for the release of that info. Hann openly shows he is still connected with the Kamala supporter as he appeared on his podcast to talk about a potential Governor run.

David Hann destroyed the MNGOP by keeping it poor/weak, disenfranchising Otter Tail delegates, running away from A4L President Erik Mortensen when confronted over Otter Tail, trying to cover up his Otter Tail corruption, playing nice with radical left Democrats, celebrating a bogus CFB complaint against A4L, demanding candidates say abortion is a protected Constitutional Right in MN, screwing over endorsed candidates by stripping data access, and even wiping the MNGOP computers clean Hillary Clinton-style! Hann is the exact opposite of what conservatives are looking for in a leader.

Hann is a longtime failure and loser. After losing his state Senate seat, Hann was only able to become MNGOP Chair because of the scandals and complete disaster Jennifer Carnahan was. He is now a delusional political zombie who likely has more friends in the Democrat Party than he does with the conservative grassroots.

Royce White will likely be David Hann’s biggest nightmare if he were to run! Royce has become known as a bold, no-BS, electrifying truth-teller who is unafraid of both wings of the Uniparty. Very few Republican candidates are willing to critique the anti-freedom RINO Establishment, which puts Royce in a category of his own. As seen in previous A4L reporting, Royce previously slammed David Hann and said Hann was “at war with the grassroots”. While it seems Royce will pull no punches against Hann, many delegates may also be curious to see how and if candidate Adam Schwarze would combat RINO David Hann.

David Hann’s anti-Trump record will likely be put on display by White and other opponents. Hann said in 2021 that the GOP was “not the party of Trump”, said he was “not a Trump guy” in 2021, and did not want Trump to visit MN in 2022. Now that Trump has retaken the White House, Minnesotans can expect a different version of Hann.

David Hann could not win over the State Central Committee (SCC) and lost his bid for reelection as party chair. The State Convention delegation will be even larger, more conservative, and more grassroots than the political insider SCC. This means that Hann has almost ZERO chance of being endorsed by the delegates, making many wonder why he would even consider inevitable embarrassment.

The desperation for relevance from David Hann has reached pathetic lows. Conservatives can rest assured that RINO David Hann will not be endorsed, he will not win the primary, and he will not be a U.S. Senator. Grassroots delegates can celebrate the fact that they may be able to participate in Hann’s final demise. Patriots can continue to look to A4L to provide them with the latest MN news that they cannot get anywhere else.

Congress District 7 is MN’s most conservative, pro-liberty, anti-establishment delegation in the state yet the grassroots has been shut out for years. CD7’s RINO Congresswoman, Michelle Fischbach, has long had her chosen puppets running the CD7 GOP but the grassroots rose up in 2024 and unified behind conservative challenger Bret Bussman, who ultimately defeated incumbent puppet Craig Bishop.

Since Bussman has become Chair, the RINO Establishment has done all that they can to attack, undermine, and discredit Bussman, even when his ideas would objectively be good for the party! Bussman has shown that he is a good-faith, happy warrior, straight shooter yet it is his honesty and conservative principles that he is being attacked for!

As seen in previous A4L reporting, RINO Michelle Fischbach's puppets have begun an insane effort to remove Bussman as CD7 Chair by falsely claiming that the 2025 CD7 convention was illegitimate because of Otter Tail delegates participating. According to the RINOs’ backwards logic, a convention is not legitimate unless you disenfranchise Otter Tail delegates.

Since our previous reporting, Bret Bussman contacted A4L and informed us that he is “ready to go to war” and that he will not cave to their pressure! They could not get him to resign so now they may go for the nuclear option!

A4L has learned that it is not just Fischbach’s puppets after Bret, it’s Michelle Fischbach herself! Sources say establishment puppet Noran Dillon allegedly told a CD7 Vice Chair that Fischbach doesn’t believe the officer elections were legitimate. Fischbach is doing all she can to undermine HER OWN constituents and stage a coup against Bussman.

Fischbach even tried to play dumb recently on the AM 1100 WZFG radio show with Steve Hallstrom. Hear audio below:

As heard above, Fischbach pretends to know nothing about the CD7 Board while throwing a fit that her puppet wasn't reelected! They do not have a REAL reason to attack Bussman so they throw Otter Tail under the bus again nearly 8 months after the convention claiming parts of the convention were unconstitutional. That is some serious desperation from the RINOs!

Bussman tells A4L that many on the CD7 Exec Committee have been after him ever since he asked for documentation to prove that Senate District (SD) Directors were appointed or elected properly since Bussman had to submit documents listing leadership position holders to the state party. Bussman argues that several of the SD Directors were not appointed or elected properly and him asking for relevant documentation was additionally threatening to them.

As Bussman began following through on his promise to correct the many Bishop/Lemeister violations of state law and the Party and CD Constitutions and Bylaws, he discovered some other serious problems. The Bishop/Lesmeister team oversaw the elimination of the CD 7 Congressional District Committee, required by the MNGOP Constitution, and tasked with managing the affairs of the CD. This committee included every BPOU Chair in CD7 and as we learned in 2022, many of those BPOU Chairs were patriots who were seen as a threat to the RINOs in power.

Bussman does not have the authority as Chair to unilaterally call a convention to fix the many issues with CD7. In addition, the RINOs have no incentive to let grassroots delegates run the show. Many of the actions taken by the Exec Committee like stripping Bussman of Chair responsibilities are invalid. 

The RINOs have done all they can to stack the deck against Bussman on the Exec Committee. Currently 29 people (22 voting members) sit on this committee and Bret can just about count all of his allies on a single hand. New positions and prior improperly appointed or elected SD Directors were put on the committee to give the Establishment a super-majority to undermine Bret with. The fact that Bussman has held on as Chair despite the tilted, unfair opposition against him is a testament to his leadership skills under pressure.

Bussman tried to involve the state party by reporting misconduct to MNGOP Chair Alex Plechash. Unfortunately for Bret, he soon realized that the state party also wanted to remove him as Chair!

Bret Bussman is one of the major reasons that Plechash is the MNGOP Chair in the first place and now Plechash is returning the favor by stabbing him in the back! Bussman actually ran for MNGOP Chair himself and after being eliminated he endorsed Plechash ahead of the final round of voting, likely delivering the votes Plechash needed to defeat RINO David Hann. As a fellow veteran, Bussman likely expected Plechash to be a leader, not a sellout to the Deep State RINOs!

Bret Bussman tells A4L that a special closed CD7 Exec. meeting took place Wednesday, Nov. 19th where the members made a series of motions to remove Bret’s authority over that meeting and to discuss Bret resigning as Chair altogether. Bussman says Plechash was at the meeting and is supportive of the Bret quietly resigning. They first removed his authority to run the meeting, which Bussman argued violated the CD7 GOP Bylaws that require he preside over CD7 meetings. In fact, presiding over meetings is the first duty listed for the Chair in Article 1, Section 1 in the CD7 GOP Bylaws.

Of the 29 members (22 voting members) of the committee listed below, Bussman says only four members had his back! Talk about out-numbered! Bret also says one member remained neutral and that two others likely would’ve supported him had they not had a scheduling conflict and were able to attend this last minute meeting. In discussion with A4L, Bret Bussman had the following to say about the members trying to remove him: “This is not about me. I believe that we have to be compliant with the law and our governing doucments have to be followed by everyone. We also have to be transparent in how we conduct business. I have fought every day to represent all members of CD7 and to run the CD7 Republican Party fairly. I have done all I can to unify conservatives and complete the business of the party. It is disappointing to see Republicans try to remove me. I will not resign from my position and am unwavering in living up to the commitment I made to the CD7 delegates who elected me. I appreciate the support I’ve received from conservatives across the state and will continue the good fight.”

Bussman’s willingness to fight back against RINO political insiders is clearly appreciated by the grassroots since he is doing exactly what he was elected to do.

Action 4 Liberty stands with the conservative grassroots of MN and will always be willing to expose corruption. The coup attempt against Bret Bussman proves that the Establishment is willing to do anything to keep regular people out of meaningful leadership roles. Patriots in CD7 can pressure their SD Director and the other members of the CD7 Exec. Committee to oppose the Bret Bussman coup.

While RINO politicians waited for permission from President Trump to support the Jeffrey Epstein discharge petition, Action 4 Liberty has been consistent in this fight for YEARS! Since Day 1, A4L has demanded the full release of all relevant information and prosecutions holding evil actors accountable. 

Under the Biden Administration, Democrats were radio-silent on the Epstein issue and didn’t lift a finger to expose the truth. Democrats mocked the film, Sound of Freedom, as a Q-Anon, crackpot, conspiracy theory. With the southern border wide open, Democrats allowed widespread child sex trafficking into our country. Democrats have supported the sexual perversion of children through raunchy drag shows, sexually explicit books in school libraries, and legalizing child transgender mutilation. In Minnesota, Walz and the Dems even protected pedophiles in the MN Human Rights Act.

In short, the Democrats have ZERO credibility on Epstein. During the 2024 Presidential election, unlike Trump and J.D. Vance, the Democrat ticket of Kamala/Tampon Tim never once mentioned Epstein or that they would release the files. The Democrat base did not care one bit about this issue until they saw a division between the America First grassroots and the RINO politicians in office.

Democrats have switched sides and begun pushing for the exposure of Epstein due to political convenience. While the Dems are showing how hypocritical they are, conservatives knew that this moment should not go to waste.

A handful of conservative Congressmen, notably Thomas Massie (KY-CD4) and Marjorie Taylor Green (GA-CD14), began circulating a discharge petition that demanded the Trump Administration release all relevant documents and information related to this case. Once it became clear that the conservatives had enough votes to pass the legislation through the House, President Trump flipped and announced his support for the discharge petition.

Every member of the MN delegation, in both chambers, voted for the discharge petition. This comes after RINO Tom Emmer whipped votes to block the Epstein File release and RINO Michelle Fischbach voted to block them in committee.

Globalist RINO Tom Emmer even appeared on Next Up with former ABC lead political correspondent, Mark Halperin, and said he would vote no on the Epstein discharge petition and said “I don’t vote for discharge petitions.” See below:

Not only did he lie about how he was going to vote, but he lied about his reasoning too! In 2019, Tom Emmer put out a press release announcing support and him signing onto a discharge petition! He tried to find a procedural short-cut to rationalize protecting pedophiles but it appears Emmer realized that the numbers were not on his side and voted with the majority.

While the passage of this bill in the House and Senate is one of the only good things Congress has done in recent history, we likely will not learn the full truth about the Epstein case.

Some details, including some of who was involved, appears to be so damaging that our government is refusing to let the truth be out. Many have speculated that Epstein’s connections with intelligence agencies including the CIA, England’s MI6, and Israel’s Mossad may uncover that the globalist elitists may have long known of Epstein and were using him as a tool for blackmail and control.

The full truth about Jeffrey Epstein would shake the world to its core. This is not a small network of perverts abusing children, this appears to be more widespread than we would’ve ever been led to believe. President Trump’s initial willingness to give the public the truth must be renewed, AG Pam Bondi’s “Phase One” binders were a swing and a miss.

Unlike the RINOs and radical left, A4L is consistent and does not flip-flop for political convenience, especially on topics as heavy as Elitist pedophile rings. Action 4 Liberty puts principle above all politicians and refuses to concede on taking back our government from the evil Deep State. If we want to protect liberty for the next generation, tables must be flipped and the truth must be revealed!

The Minnesota House Republican Campaign Committee (HRCC) is the legislative party unit of the MNGOP. As a party unit, the Campaign Finance Board recuses itself from enforcement of party rules and only governs over the applicable campaign finance laws. Unfortunately, the leadership of the MNGOP also refuses to hold the HRCC accountable despite it constantly acting as a rogue agent for unendorsed RINOs.

MN Statute Sec. 10A.01 subdivision 30 specifically notes that legislative blocks like the HRCC fall under the "party unit" category. See below:

While many RINO politicians will try to spin it, even Establishment puppet Walter Hudson has admitted that the HRCC is a party unit. The top people in charge of the HRCC was Lisa Demuth as its Chair, Paul Torkelson as its Treasurer, and Harry Niska and Josh Heintzeman as the steering committee. On previous episodes of The Truth Hurts, Reps. Walter Hudson and Mike Weiner incredibly said they had never seen HRCC bylaws and were unsure how HRCC leadership was decided despite both being members of the party unit.

Apparently we just learned the answer, power is given unilaterally!

In Lisa Demuth’s Governor campaign launch at the Capitol building she announced that she would be handing off several responsibilities of her leadership post, including running the HRCC, to GOP floor leader Harry Niska. With no known self-governing rules of the HRCC, the House GOP members can seemingly do nothing about Niska’s installation! According to the CFB website, Niska is listed as both the Chair and the Treasurer of the HRCC.

As seen in previous A4L reporting, the HRCC began demanding $25K from GOP legislators just to attempt to be a part of leadership. Grassroots conservatives should control the Republican party, not corrupt pay-to-play schemes.

Additionally, A4L reporting has exposed how the HRCC has protected RINO incumbents who fail to win the endorsement of their local Republican Party. In the last election cycle, the HRCC spent tens of thousands of dollars protecting unendorsed RINOs Greg Davids (26B), Brian Johnson (28A) and Ron Kresha (10A). Each of the deep red seats had no chance of going to the Democrats, highlighting that the HRCC would rather protect RINOs in conservative areas than go after Democrat-held swing district seats to gain a majority. 

Article IV, Section 8 of the MNGOP Bylaws prohibits party officers from using “their official position to promote pre-primary endorsement support or induce the candidacy of any individual by assuring Party support prior to any endorsement by the convention which is representative of the entire electorate for the office.” Article VI, Section 3.A.5 of the MNGOP Constitution states that party resources can only be used to benefit endorsed candidates.

In short, that means the HRCC is violating the MNGOP Constitution and Bylaws and is acting outside of its bounds as a sanctioned party unit! The HRCC must abide by party endorsements or they should LOSE their party status!

The endorsements issued by the grassroots of the MNGOP should not continue to undermined by the RINO political insider class. The incumbency protection racket of the HRCC is the antithesis of the kind of government that Constitutionalist, liberty-conservative envision.

Rep. Harry Niska will now control the HRCC and is responsible if they work against the interests of grassroots conservatives in the 2026 primary. Niska can either clean up the corruption of the HRCC or he can continue the failed status quo. If Niska can promote fairness over incumbency and honor the endorsement regardless of which RINO was rejected by their constituents, he can turn things around.

Action 4 Liberty continues to stand shoulder to shoulder with the conservative grassroots of Minnesota by demanding accountability from our government. When Democrats have power they pull out all of the stops to ensure that their far Left, ultra-woke, Socialist agenda goes through. When Republicans have power, they make excuses to grassroots conservatives on why they accomplish next to nothing. As seen Tampon Tim's interview with the Texas Tribune, he is bragging about passing his agenda with a one vote majority.

While many so-called conservative groups are satisfied with symbolic politics, Action 4 Liberty demands politicians make sweeping reforms to drastically cut the size, scope, actions, and spending by the government. Incrementalism does no good when you are already heading towards a cliff.

As Minnesotans know, Democrats ran roughshod while having total control of the state’s Executive, Legislative, and Judicial branches. From legalizing transgender mutilation at any age to legalizing post-birth abortions to passing the biggest budget in MN history, the Democrats passed everything they wanted with a one person majority in the State Senate.

When Republicans got control of the State House in 2025 and gave Lisa Demuth the Speakership, they immediately folded by seating radical Democrat Brad Tabke (54A) despite the margin of victory being smaller than the amount of ballots that were mistakenly thrown away. The GOP could have ensured a real House majority but instead cooked up a backroom deal with corrupt Dems. On the budget, the House GOP’s proposal spent MORE than Walz’ proposal and they ultimately agreed on passing the 2nd largest budget in MN history, cementing billions in new Democrat spending in a rushed special session!

It is clear that Democrats and Republicans have played politics in two different ways in Minnesota. The Democrats steamroll their opponents while the GOP allows themselves to be steamrolled. Conservatives across our state are fed up with the status quo and are demanding that Republicans learn the following lesson from Walz: When you have power, use it and don't cave.

In the case of conservatives, they’d love to see a Republican Party that is holding their elected leaders accountable to the votes they are taking. The MNGOP platform contains all kinds of items that Republican legislators violate constantly, most notably, the MNGOP platform’s opposition to omnibus bills! The GOP controlled-House continued the unconstitutional practice of passing multi-subject, big government omnibus bills, proving they are not serious about representing the interests of conservatives.

RINOs love to make excuses and claim that majorities are too thin and that they must cater to the interests of moderates. Walz and the Democrats are not playing that game and conservatives have woken up to what is going on.

Action 4 Liberty is popular among the grassroots because we refuse to bend on principle. If we are going to protect liberty for the next generation, we must hold all Establishment, big government politicians accountable regardless of whether they have a (D) or a (R) next to their names. Republicans must realize that we are not in the politics of the past, we are in a period where politics is gang-warfare where Democrats have eaten Republicans for breakfast. The only way to defeat Tim Walz and the radical Left is by pushing back and not conceding a single inch.

In the heart of the Iron Range, property owners may be punished with a nearly 10% increase on property taxes due to the actions of the county commissioners. Counties across the state are set to increase property taxes through levies by 8.1% and they must be decided by Dec. 29th. According to the Grand Rapids Herald-Review, 44 out of 70 MN counties have partially approved the tax hikes.

At a September 23rd Itasca County Commissioners meeting, a vote was held on the tax increase and 3 out of the 5 Commissioners supported the measure. Below you will see Commissioners John Johnson, Cory Smith, and Casey Venema support the tax hike while Commissioners Terry Snyder and Larry Hopkins voted no:

The final vote for this measure will take place on Tuesday, December 2nd at the Itasca County Courthouse in a Truth-in-Taxation meeting open to the public.

While the increased spending will be directed to largely uncontroversial roads/bridges projects, the increase in taxes is extremely controversial. The government loves to tell regular citizens to tighten up their budgets but never want to do it themselves! 

With rising inflation, high costs on goods, and taxes already too high, it is a slap in the face to the citizens of Itasca to raise their property taxes by such an extraordinary amount! Itasca is home to 870 lakes which likely contributes to the property taxes that are already too high in the county.

Owning property and self-sufficiency should be rewarded, not discouraged! Rural counties like Itasca should not be penalizing property owners as many struggle to make ends meet. If Itasca Commissioners want to prioritize these projects, they could have chosen NOT to give themselves raises as they did in 2024 along with raises for the county’s Sheriff, Auditor, and Recorder.

Action 4 Liberty has been involved in issues surrounding the Itasca County Commissioners after they nominated a greedy, carpetbagging, Keith Ellison puppet, James Austad, as their new County Attorney. 

A4L sounded the alarm, notified the grassroots, and joined the citizens speaking truth in the Commissioner meeting. The day following that meeting, Austad withdrew his nomination! This proves the grassroots can defeat the corrupt system in Itasca and NOW the citizens must do it again!

During the County Attorney battle, Commissioner Cory Smith flipped and opposed Austad’s nomination after previously supporting it. Smith credited the massive citizen input for his reversal, arguing that he could not do it after seeing how constituents reacted. Cory Smith could be the savior Itasca taxpayers need by becoming the THIRD and FINAL vote needed to block the massive tax hike!

Local sources tell A4L that Smith used to work for roads and bridges projects, highlighting that his interests may not only be serving the taxpayers' desires. The issue for Smith is that Itasca citizens can look no further than his own words: He RAN on lowering property taxes! If he does not self-correct by the December 2nd meeting, he will be a total hypocrite. See how he pushed for lower taxes when campaigning below:

Action 4 Liberty encourages Patriots across the state to be involved locally and to fight back against tax hikes. We believe that YOU should be able to keep more of YOUR money and should not have to pay even more to a parasitic government. The Itasca County Commissioners, notably John Johnson, Cory Smith, and Casey Venema, appear to have forgotten they work for taxpayers, not the other way around!

CD7 is Minnesota’s most conservative, red, reliably pro-liberty district in our state. Instead of having a fearless America First fighter representing their interests in Congress they have RINO career politician Michelle Fischbach.

CD7’s GOP party unit had long been controlled by a paid Fischbach staffer, Craig Bishop, proving that the party could not act neutrally in endorsing conventions. The party leadership undermined the grassroots of CD7, particularly in Otter Tail County where delegates were completely disenfranchised from their delegate roles at the 2024 CD7 GOP convention.

In March of this year, grassroots conservatives rallied together to support the election of new leadership that would promote fairness and honor the party endorsement in primaries. During that convention, conservative Bret Bussman was elected as Chair, defeating Michelle Fishbach’s paid puppet Craig Bishop. Otter Tail conservative Nathan Miller also won CD7’s seat on the MNGOP State Executive Committee. Unfortunately, pro-disenfranchisement Tiffany Lesmeister-Knott narrowly defeated the grassroots choice of Laura Knudsen after two rounds of voting in the Deputy Chair race. 

In addition to the Deputy Chair race, the CD7 Executive Committee is still largely controlled by RINO Fischbach puppets. Sources tell A4L that the Establishment majority on this committee created another position on their board to give themselves a super-majority to further undermine, attack, and discredit just about anything Bussman tries to do, even when it would objectively be good for CD7’s GOP! They have violated their Constitution, Bylaws, and have even refused his choice of a former tax software instructor & campaign treasurer for CD7 GOP Treasurer despite them being completely qualified for the job.

We are told that about 5 of the Senate district Directors on the CD7 Exec. Committee have refused to provide documents proving they were duly elected to the committee which is required by Article IV Section 4 of the CD7 GOP Bylaws, highlighting how the deck is stacked against Bussman and other grassroots conservatives. They’ve even tapped into mainstream media to do smear jobs against Bussman!

Bussman has been a threat to the Establishment simply for being an honest, regular conservative. Bussman has run for state Senate (as the endorsed Republican) and MNGOP Chair with promises of representing the grassroots. Despite not engaging in many of the hardcore tactics A4L promotes, Bussman has become a major threat to lockstep RINO control of the party. In fairness, Bussman sided with Fischbach to counter-act A4L reporting on the Epstein Files, proving that he is not necessarily a hostile actor to Fischbach (though he also supports the release of info related to Epstein).

Sources tell A4L that the Establishment has gotten even dirtier. They’ve realized that throwing stones at Bret Bussman hasn’t worked so now they’ve moved to the nuclear option: Use lies to force Bussman out by delegitimately calling the 2025 convention delegitimate.

The RINOs are reportedly going to claim that the March 2025 CD7 GOP convention was illegitimate about EIGHT months after the fact! They cannot find a REAL reason to remove Bussman so they have to make one up! Reportedly, their argument is that Otter Tail delegates should not have been allowed to be sat and the convention results are therefore null and void. This shows that they have run out of real ways to oust Bussman and are employing whatever corruption they feel they have to use.

There has been no allegation, credible or incredible, to suggest that the 2025 CD7 convention vote was rigged in any way. In fact, the Establishment would be the ones guilty of rigging in CD7 when they disenfranchised Otter Tail delegates at their 2024 convention! Allowing those same delegates to vote is what made the 2025 convention legitimate, not the other way around! The RINOs had eight months to come up with a solid reason and the best they can come up with is disenfrachising Otter Tail again?

It doesn’t end there, we are told that MNGOP Chair Alex Plechash has asked Bret Bussman to resign!

Plechash's reasoning reportedly included claims that Bret is the cause of CD7 chaos, Bret defended A4L too much, and that Bret signed onto a letter demanding the party look into compliance issues.

While the GOP Congressional delegation from MN has been stiffing Plechash and holding the party hostage of big donors, Plechash is still trying to cater to their RINO interests! Plechash could stand with the grassroots and tell Fischbach that Bret Bussman was elected fairly but he has instead chosen to fall prey to the Establishment yet again. The interests of the same Establishment that favored crooked RINO David Hann over Plechash for Chair is what he is fighting to represent, not the grassroots delegates who elected him.

A4L is told by CD7 locals that Bret Bussman will not resign and the RINOs are going to try to force him out! We are also told the RINOs cooked up some deal to have Bussman and Liemeister resign and move to lower positions but Tiffany ultimately reneged on the deal.           

In some cases, you cannot be sure who to trust! Steve Boyd ran against Michelle Fischbach in 2024 as the conservative, anti-establishment option in the race. Neither were able to reach the 60% threshold for the CD7 GOP endorsement and the race went to a primary. Boyd was later elected as a Vice Chair for the CD7 GOP and most would assume he would be an ally of Bussman. Unfortunately, our sources tell us that Boyd took a job working for RINO Jeff Backer and that he has not been standing up for Bussman during critical battles.

Bussman was duly elected to a two year term as CD7 GOP Chair and has shown he is fully intended on living up to his commitment. He has served as living proof that the RINO Establishment will try to tear you down no matter what you do.

Action 4 Liberty condemns the corrupt RINO Establishment seeking to throw away the votes of conservative delegates. The RINOs are proving the point of the grassroots when they operate as an Establishment cult that demands absolute uniformity in protecting the RINO elites. The ongoing battles in the CD7 GOP is indicative of the fight across the state within the Republican Party proving that the America First Grassroots is rising and the America Last Establishment is running scared.

Republican delegates from across Minnesota will meet in six or so months at the MNGOP State Convention to endorse candidates for the five statewide contests that will appear on the November 2026 ballot. The standard process for candidates in Minnesota Republican politics involves them pledging to abide by the party endorsement and while some lie and renege on that commitment, simply agreeing to abide by the endorsement no longer appears to be the norm. 

There is a healthy skepticism to be had with party endorsements considering how corrupt tactics have been used to rig conventions and block competition but more often than not, endorsing conventions are run fairly and without fraud. Individuals unfamiliar with the process may assume delegates are all well-connected political insiders but that is typically not the case. Delegates are often conservative, grassroots activists who want to make their voice heard and move Minnesota in the right direction.

Unlike previous election cycles, the MNGOP will likely have more candidates that refuse to abide by the endorsement than candidates who will make that pledge! This threat comes from both the establishment and anti-establishment wings of the party, showing that big races may not be completely settled at the state convention.

RINO candidates fear the convention’s delegates will be too conservative while anti-establishment candidates fear the convention will be unfair! Only a minority of candidates are pledging to honor the delegate vote.

A recent Rice County GOP meeting had particular attention drawn to this issue by U.S. Senate candidate Royce White, who admonished Kendall Qualls for supporting He/Him Joe Frasier in the primary after White had been endorsed by the party. See the full event here and see a clip of the event below:

The party endorsement typically determines who will be the Republican nominee. While the primary takes place regardless of endorsement results, voters often trust and agree with the endorsement selection of delegates. This is not always the case since there are plenty of unendorsed candidates who have come out victorious in the primary but a candidate having the MNGOP and party subunits endorsement, resources, and benefits has proven to be a major advantage.

Delegates may worry that their endorsement does not carry the same weight it previously had but it remains to be seen how the convention’s results will clear the scene but it is worth remembering that the endorsement still carries big value. If it didn’t, the candidates wouldn’t even seek it.

Whether candidates do not trust the convention’s voting security, the party leadership, or even the delegates themselves, endorsements will be made and they may give candidates the support they need to become the nominee and the eventual general election winner.
