SCAM! Uniparty Deal does not Actually Eliminate Free Healthcare for Illegal Aliens

Today’s special session is set to pass 14 bills, many of which are unconstitutional omnibus bills, without floor amendments or real debate thanks to the deal struck by Walz and the RINO and Dem legislative leaders. Incorporated into this deal was a pledge from Republicans to eliminate free healthcare for illegal aliens, unfortunately, the bill that claims to do so does not actually get the job done!
HF1/SF8 is the piece of legislation dealing with free healthcare for illegal aliens and allows them to keep the receiving healthcare for another six months. In order to fully eliminate the policy, this legislation would have to repeal/amend two changes to law that were made in the 2023 omnibus health bill (SF2995). The two statutes that must be changed include section 256L.04 and 256B.06 in order to fully eliminate free healthcare for illegal aliens.
As seen in HF1/SF8 for the special session, this bill only amends section 256L.04 and leaves Democrat language in place that passed in 2023 on section 256B.06. As seen below in subdivision 10 point (b), this bill states “except that these persons may be eligible for emergency medical assistance under section 256B.06, subdivision 4.” Section 256B.06 clearly creates many loopholes and exceptions to the new policy, which means illegal aliens will still receive free healthcare. See full text of SF8 below:

THIS IS NOT THE BILL REPUBLICAN VOTERS WERE PROMISED!
Republicans promised that their hard line in negotiations was the repeal of free healthcare for illegal aliens and they have failed to do so before the vote even takes place! The policy will certainly reduce the amount of illegal aliens getting taxpayer funded healthcare but the loopholes are still in place so that the policy cannot be fully eliminated. While the 'People of Color and Indigenous' (POCI) caucus was triggered in a press conference on the bill, it does not fully eliminate the Democrat program since it appears emergency procedures are still covered.
Crooked politicians like Lisa Demuth, who negotiated this deal, have let down conservatives across our state. A4L received plenty of criticism from the Establishment when we reported that Demuth was flip-flopping on illegals getting free healthcare and has been using woke language to by calling them “undocumented Minnesotans”. However, as usual, A4L was ahead of the game and knew that RINO leadership wasn’t serious about hardline negotiations.
Remember, the deal with Democrats to seat radical leftist Brad Tabke despite massive election fraud in the race at the beginning of session has culminated in the Uniparty force-feeding omnibus bills to the body with a fake bill on illegal alien free healthcare. The big win Republicans were supposed to have out of this special session is not real, some illegal aliens will continue receiving free healthcare on your dime. As negotiators on the deal, Mark Johnson and Lisa Demuth (and Paul Torkelson) let down their caucus and crafted a fake bill with the help of Walz and Democrats. As tempers are already heating up on the GOP side, this may push things to a point beyond return.
A4L will continue to give Patriots the inside scoop and will never hold back when holding the Establishment accountable. Grassroots conservatives across our state have become fed up with do-nothing RINOs who backstab the conservative agenda. We will never waver or substitute our mission to protect liberty for the next generation. Stay tuned for reporting as the special session is underway.
Establishment Rep. Walter Hudson Says He did not Consent to Special Session Deal

Upon the news of the special session agreement reached by Uniparty leaders, grassroots conservatives across our state were fed up and felt completely backstabbed. The deal pushes the 2nd largest budget in MN history, wastes billions upon billions in tax dollars, adopts liberal policies, rushes 14 bills in a single day, and demands legislators not speak or bring amendments on the floor. This apparently has not just upset conservatives but it has even irritated Establishment Republicans like Walter Hudson (30A).
Hudson posted on X on Sunday, June 8th that he did not “consent” to the special session deal. Also note former Senate GOP leader RINO Paul Gazelka trying to justify secret discussions between legislative party leaders and Walz. Easy to say when you used to be one of the select Uniparty members in the room! See below:

This may come as a surprise because Hudson has come to the defense for the surplus-killing GOP budget proposal and has voted for several unconstitutional omnibus bills this session. However, all politicians want control and the ability to have things done their way; In this case, Hudson knows that the House GOP got served a raw deal from Demuth and Walz.
Hudson’s coming to Jesus moment may simply be for show and to portray himself as a conservative when in reality, he will do nothing to actually fight or stop the package. If Demuth was short one vote on a bill, Hudson would almost certainly be a vote she goes to flip. It seems unlikely that Hudson will present Amendments to the body against the wishes of Lisa Demuth or that he would use procedural tactics to delay and slow down the process. There is almost no chance Hudson does anything to threaten the GOP leadership’s power. If he is willing to do so, we would love being proven wrong.
In addition, Hudson was a supporter of the deal with Democrats at the beginning of session which protected radical Democrat Brad Tabke (54A) from having his election certificate revoked due to election fraud where more ballots were thrown away in his district by election officials than what the margin of victory was. Hudson went on the attack against A4L for an article exposing the corrupt deal with false smears, demands that our supporters be banned from the party, and even attempting to blame our organization for the GOP losing the 40B race by over 40 percentage points! Hudson’s vote and support of those rules blocked the GOP from winning a swing district seat which would have given House Republicans a real majority.
We owe a MASSIVE thank you to all A4L supporters for putting the pressure on their legislators, holding their feet to the fire, and making it politically toxic to support the deal. Conservatives across our state demanding a higher standard from their elected officials is the role of vigilant citizenship and there is no doubt that it is moving the needle and causing GOP legislators to turn on the deal.
Conservative Senator Nathan Wesenberg (SD10) put out a strong statement calling out the corruption which was shared in support by Rep. Marj Fogleman (21B). Hudson then posted it on X with commentary where it appears Hudson is referring to (admitting) himself as the establishment that will align with the grassroots on these votes (despite Hudson's previous claim that there was no such thing as an Establishment in Minnesota). See below:

In addition to Wesenberg, Rep. Drew Roach (58B) put out a strong statement calling out the corruption of the Uniparty special session agreement. See below:

Other establishment Republicans like Elliot Engen have even gone on record against this deal. Our sources at the Capitol tell A4L that the vast majority of the caucus is LIVID with the deal and will be opposing the rules suspension and most omnibus bills. GOP Reps should feel insulted that Demuth wants to strip away their ability to legislate with a deal that they never signed off on. Now she demands they vote with her for all of the corruption.
Conservative legislators can FIGHT the corruption by rejecting the plans to suspend the rules and by voting against the corrupt omnibus policy and spending bills. Shutting down Walz’ government may be EXACTLY what our state needs in order to reassess out of control spending. In addition, the Uniparty special session deal does not prohibit amendments on the floor, it simply says leadership must oppose them. This means that members can and should introduce amendments to reduce spending, gut woke policies, and insert conservative policies. If you want your legislators to know this, you can find their contact info here.
Action 4 Liberty will continue to expose corruption and stand as the much needed bulldog for limited government in our state. The unconstitutional deal pushed by the Uniparty should be rejected far and wide. Groups like A4L have led in the fight the corruption and we now see fake conservatives like Walter Hudson tagging along out of necessity. We encourage all legislators to stand up to corrupt party leaders force-feeding them unconstitutional, big government omnibus bills and standing ready for a government shutdown battle against Walz.
RINO Paul Torkelson Pulling the Strings on Lisa Demuth for Uniparty Deal

The special session scheduled for tomorrow (Monday, June 9th) is set to pass 14 bills within a 24 hour time period to complete the passage of the 2nd largest budget in MN history. Many of these bills are unconstitutional omnibus packed with billions upon billions in spending or radical left policies. Legislators are being told not to speak on the floor or present amendments, blocking their ability to represent their constituents. Previous A4L reporting showed how no finalized version of bills are available and that leadership can change whatever they want, decided by them alone. Many conservatives are questioning how this happened and which RINOs are responsible. Insert RINO Paul Torkelson.
The signers on the Uniparty special session deal includes Tyrant Tim Walz, RINO Speaker Lisa Demuth, Dem House Leader Melissa Hortman, Dem Majority Leader Erin Murphy, and RINO Minority Leader Mark Johnson. However, the signers of the deal are not the culprits to blame.
RINO Paul Torkelson (15B) is a big government, liberal, 17-year incumbent career politician who has worked to undermine the leverage and power the House GOP could have in negotiations and has previously fought to legalize drivers licenses for illegal aliens on the House floor while repping a useless cloth mask on his face. At the beginning of this legislative session, the House GOP held a caucus meeting to hold intra-party leadership elections. According to our sources at the Capitol, Torkelson was Demuth’s hand-selected choice for GOP floor leader, which was halted by members demanding a vote. In this vote, Harry Niska (31A) defeated Torkelson and became the GOP floor leader.
Following Torkelson’s defeat, Demuth appointed him to be a leadership role and he has remained as her right-hand man. Sources at the Capitol tell A4L that Torkelson is the person who is truly driving the ship and steering the caucus behind the scenes, not Lisa Demuth. This has even culminated in some of the special session negotiations.
One of the bills that have reportedly been led by Torkelson include the Transportation omnibus bill. Sources at the Capitol tell A4L that RINO Jon Koznick (57A) presented the transportation bill to the House GOP caucus and admitted many of the flaws of the bill, even saying he planned to vote against it (despite being a signer on the Transportation policy agreement and the House Transportation co-chair). Koznick has publicly attacked the legislation and its non-transparent process, highlighting the $93M sales tax shift to the corrupt Met Council. When questioned by members how the bill was negotiated so poorly, Koznick reportedly shifted the blame to Paul Torkelson for leading negotiations. Sources also say Torkelson’s fingerprints are all over several other pieces of liberal omnibus bills in the special session Uniparty package.
Members have reportedly reached a boiling point with Torkelson and are fed up with his constant caving to liberal demands. While Lisa ‘Kamala’ Demuth serves as the empty-suit front woman, Torkelson has been running the show and crafting unconstitutional omnibus bills with Democrats. Some swamp creatures can be front and center while others hide and call shots behind the scenes. The failures by GOP legislative leaders will culminate into a single day session to pass unconstitutional, corrupt omnibus bills contributing to the 2nd largest budget in Minnesota history. No wonder conservative legislators feel completely shafted by the special session terms and cannot adequately represent their constituents.
Action 4 Liberty will keep Patriots up to date and will continue leading the conservative grassroots movement of our state. The corruption within our government can only be fought with exposure and A4L will never waver in the fight for limited government and to protect liberty for the next generation.
Zero Finalized Special Session Bills Publicly Available

Corruption hides in darkness, only transparency can expose it. Minnesotans are anxiously awaiting the full details of the Uniparty’s big government budget proposals decided in private backroom meetings that have been separated into 14 different bills. Most of these bills will be massive, unconstitutional, left wing garbage spending or policy omnibus bills amounting to billions upon billions of wasted tax dollars. Unfortunately, our state is left in the dark as ZERO finalized bills are available to be seen by the public and 3 out of the 14 bills do not even have drafts publicly available! 3 other bill's drafts were not available until around 8PM Saturday night.
The Special Session is taking place on Monday, just 36 hours away (as of writing), and huge pieces of the deal remain hidden. Action 4 Liberty previously reported that legislative leaders plan to steamroll all 14 bills through both chambers on Monday by asking legislators not to speak or give amendments on the floor! Aside from trying to block legislators from legislating, legislative leaders are also leaving the public and their caucuses completely in the dark!
Since the GOP controls the Speakership and shared-majority in the House, one might expect transparency on all bills that are given House File designations. However, the House has more bills that are not publicly available for the special session than what is available! As per the Uniparty agreement, 9 of the 14 bills will be House Files. Of the 9 bills, 7 are unfinalized drafts and 2 of which are still total mysteries (modifying free healthcare for illegal aliens and data center bills)!
A Senate webpage lists out the available omnibus bill drafts for the Special Session which can be viewed here. As per the Uniparty agreement, 5 of the 14 bills will be Senate Files. Of the 5 bills, 4 have public drafts of the bill. Like the House Files, none of these bills have final versions of the bill publicly available.
As seen on the website cited, there is no mention of the three non-omnibus bills for the special session listed in the Uniparty agreement which includes a data center bill, a technical revisor corrections bill, and a bill “Modifying MinnesotaCare for Undocumented Adults”. To make sure we check all pockets of the MN Legislative website, we went to the MN House Bill Information webpage under the ‘94th Legislature, 2025 First Special Session’ search result only to find no bills listed! Bills will eventually be listed on that webpage, but for the time being, we do not get to know the contents of bills set to pass in just a few days. See below:

The debate surrounding illegal aliens receiving free, taxpayer-funded healthcare has been a major point of contention with very little transparency. Action 4 Liberty has stayed vigilant on this question and reported when RINO Speaker Lisa Demuth began to flip flop on the question and adopting language such as “undocumented Minnesotans” when talking about criminal illegal aliens in our state. A4L then reported that the new plan from the Uniparty was to remove the policy proposal from the Health omnibus bill for a stand-alone vote.
Drafts are not final versions and the the small conglomeration of power in Walz, Demuth, Hortman, Murphy, and Johnson can still change WHATEVER they want in these bills.
This stand-alone vote could lead to Democrats not providing the votes or Walz choosing to veto. On the other hand, since the public has no access to the legislation, we have no idea if it truly will eliminate all funding for illegal alien free healthcare. Considering the title of the bill uses the word “modifying” instead of “eliminating”, skepticism must always remain high when dealing with corrupt politicians.
As always, A4L will continue to hold our government accountable by keeping Patriots informed. Corruption must be exposed and A4L will never hold back the truth. The corrupt deal struck by Walz, Lisa Demuth, Melissa Hortman, Erin Murphy, and Mark Johnson will be remembered not for ‘bipartisanship’ but instead for a crooked Uniparty silencing legislators in order to pass the 2nd largest budget in Minnesota history.
NOTE - Since publishing, a few supposed final versions of bills are listed on this House page. As previously noted, leadership could unilaterally still change these bills.
Radical Left Keith Ellison Celebrates Boys in Girls Sports

With the President of the United States, the Dept. of Justice, human biology, and the majority of the public against him, Minnesota’s radical Socialist Attorney General, ANTIFA Keith Ellison, is celebrating boys playing in high school girls sports in our state.
The topic of boys in girls sports and locker rooms has drawn a massive cultural line between the right and left in our country that culminated in part to President Trump’s sweeping 2024 victory. The issue, and opposition to it, has grown over the last few years as transgenderism has become more prominent in children coinciding with the leftist groomer agenda being normalized in schools and media. As the lead attorney of our state, Keith Ellison has chosen to align himself with the woke alphabet mafia.
In a 6/6/25 social media post, Ellison celebrated Champlin Park High School's softball team that has a boy as their pitcher who now identifies as a girl. See below:

A sport of any kind of physicality is always separated by gender, that is why there are boys baseball teams and girls softball teams. Pretending as if there is no difference throws basic logic out the window. Pitching is especially reliant on strength and boys will generally have an advantage in strength. This case clearly is unfair on face value and the win for their team seems to indicate that the advantage helped them.
While most people may not associate ANTIFA Keith Ellison to sports, like any politician he has the occasional team spirit for the Vikings or Timberwolves or whoever else might be politically convenient to align with, in this case Ellison is only putting this confused teenager on a pedestal as a political prop as a signal to the woke LGBTQIA2S+ mob and perhaps to troll the right.
Aside from being dead-wrong logically, Ellison is fighting the vast majority of the public with his extremely unpopular stance. Pew Research polling shows two-thirds of Americans disapprove boys playing in girls sports and over half of Americans are against transitioning minors. Minnesota Republicans should be winning this fight against Ellison with control the the Speakership and shared-majority in the State House but instead, RINOs have worked with Dems to increase Ellison’s AG budget!
Liberals will often argue that transgenders will commit suicide unless they receive medical treatment. However, this is entirely misleading as the exact opposite is true, mutilations and hormone blockers often lead to increases in suicides. A research study titled ‘Risk of Suicide and Self-Harm Following Gender-Affirmation Surgery’ written by members of the Dept. of Emergency Medicine, Dept. of Pharmacology, and the Dept. of Psychiatry and Behavioral Services at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston concludes its study by saying “Patients who have undergone gender-affirming surgery are associated with a significantly elevated risk of suicide, highlighting the necessity for comprehensive post-procedure psychiatric support.”. The experimentation of children, with even more fragile of realities, is a curse put onto them by the woke mind virus. Social stigmas are not causing chemical imbalances in people, hormone blockers and mutilation cause chemical imbalances. A body not functioning as nature intended it to will react negatively.
Ellison has not only supported this cause with troll posts online, he is also wasting taxpayer dollars to sue the Trump administration at least 22 times since Trump’s inauguration. On this topic, Ellison is suing Trump to keep men in women’s sports/lockerrooms and continue Minnesota’s policy allowing transgender mutilation of kids. In addition, Ellison is also suing Trump to keep birthright citizenship for anchor babies, block the abolition of the failed Dept. of Edu., block Trump from firing federal workers, fight tariffs meant to even out the global trade playing field, support electric vehicle mandates, and block proof of citizenship requirements for voting.
Action 4 Liberty will continue to stand on the forefront of the political battleground in our state for the conservative grassroots. Crooked politicians ask you to deny the reality in front of your eyes and A4L will continue to expose these realities. With this topic top of mind, conservative legislators could demand that Minnesota immediately take action on this topic in order to pass anything with the special session. However, don’t hold your breath on that one.
Deal Made Behind Closed Doors; RINOs Agree to Block Amendments on Floor, Rush 14 Bills in a Single Day

The special session has officially been set for Monday, June 9th and the terms of which were agreed to by Walz and the party leaders of the House and Senate. The agreement attempts to force 14 bills through the legislature during a single day of session with no amendments allowed from the body. The bills will spend billions upon billions of tax dollars and contribute to the 2nd largest budget in MN history when passed or the groundwork will be set for a state government shutdown. Many of these bills will be massive unconstitutional omnibus bills with all kinds of woke, big government spending and policies tucked deep inside of them.
In the agreement, 14 bills are listed out and certain terms of process are laid out for the special session. Included in this is all party leaders pledging to block all amendments on the floor unless they all agree to it. They want to block the ability of a legislator to legislate! They do not want legislators to represent their constituents or their concerns on the floor. They do not want legislators to be able to influence legislation. They simply want legislators to act as a human conveyor belt.
GOP legislators should feel insulted that their party leaders have such little faith in their ability to legislate, the Uniparty wants all the big decisions made in closed-door conversations with party bosses. Republican party leaders have implemented the exact opposite negotiation style of ‘The Art of the Deal’. If you want to know who and what the Uniparty is in Minnesota, look no further than this agreement and the signers of it, then see who votes for it all. See deal below:

There is mention in the agreement for the suspension of the rules and a declaration of urgency be established under Article IV, Section 19 of the MN Constitution to prevent the bills from going through the standard legislative process requiring bills to be heard three times before being voted on for final passage. The mentioned House and Senate rules also pertain to this issue. With Demuth and Johnson signing, they are saying that they have the GOP votes (23 in the House and 11 in the Senate) necessary to help Democrats suspend the rules by meeting the two-thirds requirement on the vote.
According to sources at the Capitol, there was no majority that explicitly agreed in the GOP House or Senate caucuses to the terms of this agreement. RINO party leaders Speaker Lisa Demuth and Senate minority leader Mark Johnson are elected by their caucus to represent the will of the majority of the Republican legislators. If Demuth and Johnson are signing onto big government deals with Democrats without the blessing of the majority of their given caucus, the GOP legislators would have serious reason to look for new leadership at the top.
While we would love to give Patriots the inside scoop on this legislation, only about half of the drafts of the bills are publicly available on the MN Legislative website as of this article’s publishing. We the People have been left in the dark in these backroom discussions. Democrats and RINO party leaders are signing off on all kinds of corruption and promising the votes of their party to get the bills passed when those same legislators haven’t seen the bills in full themselves! Aside from piecing together hours of joint committee meetings on these bills, it will be very difficult for members of the public to know what is going on at all until the bills can be read. Even most of the legislators have no idea what is in all of these bills!
With the Speakership and shared majority in the House, Demuth made the worst deal of all signers because she had serious leverage and could’ve been a hard-line negotiator. Instead, Demuth started sounding like a Democrat throughout negotiations as she began calling illegal aliens “undocumented Minnesotans”. It will be very telling if Demuth uses the Speakership to block Republican legislators in the House from proposing conservative amendments or how she will limit their speech. Considering the large amount of bills the Uniparty hopes to pass in a single day, Republican members speaking at all halts the agenda. Empty Suit Lisa 'Kamala' Demuth does not care what she is pushing politically, she's just happy to be the one doing it.
The topic of the bill addressing free healthcare for illegal alien adults is one that still requires more clarity and transparency. This bill and the Health omnibus bill are not publicly available on the MN Legislative website to read as of publishing. Our previous reporting highlighted Demuth flip-flopping on the funding for illegal alien free healthcare and her willingness to support a stand-alone bill funding this with some sort of GOP concession for funding of their choice. Clearly she does not understand the proper role of government and does not have a grasp of (or belief in) conservative principles.
Since our previous reporting, it appears the nature of the stand alone bill could have flipped on its head, be designed to fail, will do nothing, and gives cover to Republicans as a pretend drawing line in the sand. Instead of including the removal of free illegal alien healthcare within the Health omnibus bill, they are having a stand alone bill supposedly removing the funding of free illegal alien healthcare. Until the bill is publicly available, all will be speculation. We will inform readers as soon as we can. There are a few possibilities in play until then:
- The bill does eliminate the funding but will not pass (Dem leaders withhold votes or Walz vetoes) and is meant to serve as a way for Republicans to pretend they are fighting to strip the funding
- The bill does not actually cut off all free healthcare for illegal aliens (will be discovered once bill is publicly available)
- The bill does eliminate all funding and passes both chambers
The only way Republicans can eliminate free healthcare for illegal aliens is to pass a vote that amends MN Statute section 256L.04 subdivision 10 and section 256B.06 subdivision 4, which was changed to include illegal aliens in MinnesotaCare in the 2023 Health omnibus bill (SF2995). If this is not repealed and changed correctly, illegal aliens will still receive socialist benefits.
We know to keep our expectations low with politicians and will inform Patriots what takes place. As listed in the agreement above, the bill is titled “Modifying MinnesotaCare for Undocumented Adults Bill” which does not explicitly say funding would be eliminated and could be some kind of reduction. If it is the case that the bill doesn’t really end the funding or . If we are also to take each party leader at their word, it would mean Hortman and Murphy will, on their own or with politically convenient members, will vote with Republicans on the bill. The internal dynamics of the Democrat party might certainly explode in that scenario as well. A veto from Walz cannot be taken out of contention either, don't forget, he is the guy who just told Democrats that they need to be "meaner"! Who thinks Walz wouldn't lie during negotiations then do what he wants?
The House GOP broke the news about their deal with Democrats with the following:

“More updates coming soon”... What?!? Why can’t the GOP be upfront on the deal they made with Walz? They are caving to Democrats on spending and policy while taking potshots over the past. While it is true that no-show Democrats halted legislative action in the opening days, it was House Republicans caving to liberal demands of seating leftist Brad Tabke (54A) despite the massive election fraud and razor thin vote margin and it appears the same spinelessness is on display again.
GOP Establishment Rep. Walter Hudson (30A) has even posted on X suggesting that members may not be “obedient” to the terms of the special session. See below:

Action 4 Liberty encourages legislators to legislate! Legislators should feel free to make amendments, offer speeches in debate, and represent their constituents fully during this special session. They should not be relegated to being a puppet of their party leadership. A4L encourages all legislators to think for themselves and oppose the big government omnibus package put forward by Walz and Uniparty legislative leaders. GOP Reps and Senators do NOT have to just do as they are told. They do NOT have to suspend the rules to help Democrats.
Radical leftists, RINOs, and other big government tyrants are destroying our state and conservatives can NEVER take a shutdown off of the table. Our previous reporting highlighted how conservative legislators could leverage a government shutdown in order to get conservative policy wins and spending cuts. If Republicans are not willing to take a fight to its logical end, radical leftists will always take advantage. We will keep Patriots informed when more information surrounding the finer details of the special session are available.
MN RINOs Work with Dems on $700 Million DEBT Bill

As the special session approaches, crooked politicians hope to craft a corrupt omnibus bonding (debt) bill to finance pet projects for lobbyists and special interests on the taxpayer’s behalf. Alongside pushing the 2nd largest state budget in MN history, the Uniparty is looking to give our state $700 Million in new debt.
Bonding bills authorize the state to take on debt since crooked politicians ALWAYS want more money to waste. These bills require the support of 60% or more in both the state House and Senate. With the GOP Speakership, 67-67 tie in the House, and the one member Democrat majority in the Senate, Republicans have the opportunity to flex their power and block any debt bill because their votes would be needed for the legislation to pass.
Instead of taking this opportunity to defeat the plan head-on, or at the very least get concessions such as repealing radical Democrat trifecta-era policies, the GOP is working with Democrats to pass the debt bill! Action 4 Liberty has previously reported on pay-to-play Sen. Sandy Pappas (SD65) pushing for a $1.3 Billion debt plan and RINO Senator Karin Housely (SD33) also showing interest in the massive debt plan. The plan has obviously been cut, thanks only to the March 6th state budget forecast setting a $700 Million maximum debt capacity. Leave it to the corrupt Uniparty to give our state as much debt as the forecast says can happen, remember, they don’t have to put our state in debt at all.
Sources at the Capitol for say the bonding bill will only contain funding for specific projects within the twin cities and will give money to the MN Dept. of Transportation to divvy out on projects! The state government wants to take on debt to give to one of its government agencies?!? Plus the legislature would also be handing off major appropriation responsibility over to MNDOT that they should be doing themselves if they're going to do it at all. Sources also tell A4L that House Capital Investment co-chair RINO Rep. Mary Franson (12B) agreed to package because it gives $20M to the Alexandria Technical & Community College in her district, showing that Republicans will ditch conservative values as soon as it benefits them politically. The final bill is not publicly available as of this article's publishing, it can be accessed here once it is published.
The plan to give our state $700 Million in new debt is not just being talked about in the Senate, RINO House Speaker Lisa Demuth appears to also be on board! In a 6/4/25 press conference, Demuth said the discussions are ongoing to pass the bill and was supportive of the bill moving forward! While Democrats have steamrolled massive spending and debt for years, Demuth is maintaining the status quo and doing NOTHING to fight for conservative interests.
To make matters worse, it is also reported that Senate Republicans have agreed to put up votes for the bonding bill (among other things). This means RINO Senate Minority Leader Mark Johnson (SD1) or another Senate GOP leader has agreed with Democrats on a bonding bill, perhaps without the blessing of the GOP caucus. See below:

As mentioned previously, Republicans have enough votes in both chambers to block this bill from passing since it requires 60% support. If Republicans draw a hard line in the sand for fiscal responsibility, our state will be much better off. Bonding bills are not required to fund the state government and are simply used as an omnibus dumpster-fire of projects that incumbents can use to campaign on. The Uniparty has no concept of taking ideas one at a time and debating it on its own, singular merits.
Conservative legislators should be doing all they can to fight a debt-ridden bonding bill, not cheering it on! If they hold firm, they can block big government debt and make our state more fiscally sound. RINOs who choose to vote for more debt will be co-signing hundreds of millions in wasteful spending in return for some project. Action 4 Liberty will keep Patriots up to date on the status of this and where it ultimately lands.
RINO Speaker Lisa Demuth Caving on Illegal Alien Healthcare; Uses Woke Language

Despite holding the Speakership and a shared majority in the state House of Representatives, House Republicans have been an abysmal failure by caving to radical Democrats instead of fighting for conservative principles. Among other RINOs, Speaker Lisa Demuth deserves particular blame.
A major point of contention during the end of the legislative session was the issue of illegal alien adults receiving taxpayer funded healthcare. While our own citizens struggle to pay their bills and make ends meet in Minnesota, Democrats chose to prioritize giving free healthcare instead to illegal aliens. Initially, it seemed Republicans were drawing a hard line and would not allow this to pass, however, it appears things have changed.
The Walz/Demuth/Hortman/Murphy budget deal had a series of set agreements, among them was stripping the funding for free healthcare for illegal alien adults. Democrats have since continued to push to add this spending to the deal whether it be in the Health omnibus bill (HF2435) or in a stand alone bill.
In a 6/4/25 press conference, Speaker Lisa Demuth appeared to pivot on the question and suggested that if a stand alone bill on this issue was taken up that the GOP could allow it with a “contingency”. What exactly would Demuth and the GOP caucus want in return? From the sounds of it, Demuth is not asking for a cut in government, in fact, her contingency would be giving MORE money to the “MDH”, perhaps something like pregnancy centers. We presume Demuth is referring to the MN Dept. of Health when she says “MDH” in the press conference. She may argue that she is instead pursuing a redirection of funds. It is not immediately clear which GOP Reps would join Demuth to pass this Democrat agenda item. This can be seen at the 2 minute mark in this press conference.
You read that right, RINO Speaker Lisa Demuth is CAVING to radical Democrats on funding for free healthcare for illegal aliens!
In the above-mentioned press conference and in a 5/19/25 press conference, Demuth has referred to illegal aliens using ultra-woke, leftist terms like “undocumented immigrants”, “undocumented people”, or even "undocumented Minnesotans"! Are these our friends and neighbors or are these uninvited invaders? We have dealt with years where millions of criminals have poured across our open border under Biden and Lisa Demuth is busy trying not to offend them instead of stripping all Socialist benefits for them! Is Lisa Demuth in the same party as President Trump?!?! Republicans won the election nationally under the America First vision on immigration set forth by President Donald Trump, instead of implementing that policy, Demuth is working with Democrats against it.
Lisa Demuth has earned her nicknames of empty suit Lisa ‘Kamala’ Demuth or Demuth Equity and Inclusion (DEI)! She stands for nothing and is a fake conservative! As Speaker, Demuth has brought to the floor and passed massive, unconstitutional omnibus bills containing radical Democrat policies including (among other things) budget increases for ANTIFA Keith Ellison & the LGBTQIA2S+ Council, taxpayer funded abortions, and DEI in schools. A Speaker ultimately decides which bills will be calendared each day which means Demuth bears the most responsibility for the corruption we’ve witnessed in the House this session.
If MN Democrats are able to teach us anything, it is that they draw lines in the sand and are willing to enforce that viewpoint in total lockstep until the bitter end. Meanwhile, spineless RINOs abandon the conservative base to advance themselves higher into the Uniparty Swamp.
Republicans have pissed away all of their power and leverage by conceding to woke Democrats and maintaining the bloated, over-spending big government by pushing a left-wing, surplus-killing budget deal which will be the 2nd largest budget in our state's history. Conservatives across our state are fed up with crooked RINO politicians telling voters what they want to hear during elections then backstab them once they get into office.
Action 4 Liberty will continue to expose the RINO politicians as the incoming special session nears. As the leader of the conservative grassroots movement of our state, we will never sell-out or abandon our liberty conservative principles. We are a threat to the Establishment because we expose their game and all of the corrupt players. We will always stand shoulder to shoulder with the conservative grassroots and reject the RINO Uniparty Swamp tactics to keep government bloated.
RINO Ron Kresha Condemned by Morrison Co. GOP for Liberal Voting Record

RINO Ron Kresha (10A) is the poster-child in Minnesota for corrupt career politician RINOs and the residents of his district have become fed up. Kresha has failed to earn the local party’s endorsement in the last two election cycles (2022 & 2024) and was nearly defeated in the 2024 GOP primary by grassroots conservative candidate Diane Webb-Skillings in what was the closest State Representative primary in the state. He now faces a scathing letter of condemnation from the Morrison County GOP for his big government, liberal voting record.
Kresha has been in office for over a decade (13 years) and has repeatedly sold out his conservative constituents in order to ingratiate himself into the Swamp. He is a loyal and consistent vote for big government, big spending, unconstitutional, multi-subject, Uniparty omnibus bills. It is no surprise that he wins endorsements from radical left union bosses but not with his own Republican constituents. While many other RINOs within the legislature would fit that same description, Kresha has become a case of his own in how far-left a “Republican” can get away with.
The Morrison County GOP released the following letter of condemnation against Rep. Ron Kresha on May 27th that received unanimous support at the Morrison County GOP’s May meeting. See full letter below:

As seen above, Kresha has worked against the interests of conservatives throughout his corrupt career in unimaginable ways. In opposition to President Trump’s America First agenda, Kresha introduced a bill in 2021 (HF2409) would give $5M to lawyers to keep illegal aliens in our state, voted for SF3045 this year which gives the LGBTQIA2S+ Council and ANTIFA Keith Ellison’s office budget increases, voted this year for HF2435 which pays for taxpayer funded abortions, and voted this year for HF2433 which funds DEI in schools and other leftist projects.
Despite not winning the party’s endorsement against Webb-Skillings, Kresha (and other unendorsed RINOs) received massive funding from the corrupt MN House Republican Campaign Committee (HRCC) chaired by RINO Josh Heintzeman (6B). Kresha's "win" against Webb-Skillings can also be attributed to a mailer from his campaign that falsely claimed Kresha was GOP endorsed which was mailed to thousands of constituents. Despite the GOP legislative caucuses serving as party units, they have worked against the interests of the party endorsement by instead acting as an incumbency protection racket. RINO leadership in the House like Speaker Lisa Demuth backstabbing local GOP activists highlights how different the Swamp is from citizen Patriots like you.
Morrison County GOP may serve as an exemplar in the battle between the grassroots and the Establishment RINOs and their strategy could be copied across the state. RINO politicians must be held accountable as they cave to radical Democrats instead of pushing the conservative agenda through. The House GOP has been an abysmal failure in leveraging the Speakership and shared-majority, the only way to make them change is by putting their feet to the fire ahead of the special session.
Congratulations to Morrison County GOP for EXPOSING the TRUTH about the ultra-liberal voting record of RINO Ron Kresha!
Fmr. MNGOP Exec. Director Admits A4L is a Massive Caucus Organizer

The RINO Establishment teeter-totters between two main tactics in attacking Action 4 Liberty and our leadership of the grassroots conservative base in our state. One wing tries to deny our influence by making claims of irrelevance, however, those attacks always fall flat on their face due to the obvious conflict between the liberty movement and RINO Establishment, which sometimes boils over into Star Tribune hit-pieces against our organization. On the other hand, some RINOs admit the truth while on the attack.
Anna Matthews, former RINO Executive Director of the MNGOP under corrupt David Hann, recently appeared on a podcast and admitted that Action 4 Liberty is a massive organizer for caucus participation from the grassroots and says we are the only group expanding grassroots involvement in the party! See video here or click below:
To an outside observer, a Republican party that wants to win should be thrilled with thousands of new conservative Patriots becoming active politically but Matthews and others in the RINO establishment are threatened by regular people fighting to take our government back. The corrupt political swamp wants to maintain the Uniparty’s anti-liberty, big government status quo and they are unable to do so when the conservative base is educated and activated.
To make matters even clearer, the podcast Matthews appeared on is hosted by the very ‘White Dude for Kamala’ that Action 4 Liberty exposed was secretly getting tens of thousands of dollars from the party under RINO David Hann! The 1972-10 scandal was exposed fully by A4L President Erik Mortensen and Jake Duesenberg in the video below:
