During today’s Senate floor session, the omnibus legacy finance bill (HF1999) was up for debate. Legacy finance bills are a crony way for politicians to waste our Surplus and tax dollars for projects run by their special interests and lobbyists. This bill spends hundreds of millions of our overtaxed dollars on various pet projects in our state.

During the debate, Senator Eric Lucero proposed the following Amendment to the bill:

In essence, this Amendment would prevent our taxes from going to organizations that will use the funds for activities relating to the occult, Satanism, pedophilia, and other demonic practices. Senator Nathan Wesenberg (SD10) noted that the drag queen performances for children in Minnesota are child abuse and said no tax dollars should go to projects or groups that support it.

This would seem to be a pretty simple idea that everyone could agree to, but the radical Left refused to accept language that would prevent pedophiles from using our tax dollars for evil acts! It shows how out of step Democrats are with reality! See the vote on this Amendment below:

In a surprising turn of events, Democrats accepted two Amendments that slightly improved this disaster of a bill. Senator Karla Nelson introduced an Amendment that would prohibit taxpayer funding of projects in which eminent domain was used. Notably, Democrats John Hoffman (SD34), Matt Klein (SD53), and Rob Kupec (SD4) supported the Amendment.  See the vote below:

An Amendment was also offered by Senator Justin Eichorn (SD6) which would prevent any tax dollars from being appropriated to projects that promote domestic terrorism or criminal activities. While Senators Grant Hauschild (SD3), Sandra Pappas (SD65), and Judy Seeberger (SD41) voted in favor of the Amendment (perhaps out of pressure), the vast majority of Democrats supported terrorists getting tax dollars! Interestingly, Senator Omar Fateh voted against this Amendment and previously suggested that white, patriotic Americans that look like the GOP Senators are the real domestic terrorists in our country!

The Left hates everything our country and people stand for. They want to redefine us in their own, satanic image. We must fight this radical agenda at every end or our state will be lost forever. As we previously reported, the Minneapolis Teachers Union planned to host a “Gender Resource Fair” at Loring Elementary School. This included a guest speaker for adults, dinner, games, and a drag queen story for kids!

Patriots across our state have become fed up with groomers trying to impose their sexual and gender views onto children. The propaganda is clearly in place to misguide our youth into supporting the evil transgender agenda and committing deviant actions. Parents have been in shock over the explicit sexual material given to young students across our nation.

It is easy to lose all hope when the system is corrupt and the culture is sinister. Especially considering the state House passing the most radical bill in the history of our state (Transgender refuge bill), many Patriots know Minnesota is going to Hell and we have to act quickly to save it.

However, all hope is not lost because we still have free speech to fight this wickedness and pressure leaders to stop it! In this case, we were successful in moving this event away from the Elementary school! The Minneapolis Federation of Teachers 59 was initially promoting this event on Twitter in a tweet that has since been deleted! See the deleted tweet for yourself:

This was moved from the elementary school to a parking lot because of pressure from Patriots like you and A4L. We will never be silenced when fighting for Truth! While this event is still going on, it is instead taking place in a nearby parking lot of the School District’s HQ. Because this is now taking place in a more public location, hopefully they cannot hide their activities behind closed doors. Patriots in attendance to protest are welcomed to share with us the events that go on!

No child, especially elementary school aged children, should ever be subjected to sexual events that make them question their gender, sexuality, or “queerness”. We need to stand up to drag queen story hours for children because those events are a pedophile's dream come true. The Left has abandoned all forms of sanity, only political pressure from Patriots like you can move the needle. Challenge and fight the Transgender Agenda in all forms, our children depend on it!

Court documents made public today show that Adam Fravel, the father of Maddi Kingsbury's two children, does not have custodial rights which is why the court ordered the children to be put into protective care. Maddi went missing on March 31st and Fravel was the last known person to see her on that day. Her disappearance remains a mystery.

We wrote about the search of Maddi Kingsbury on Tuesday, with a timeline of events on March 31st.

According to the court document, Mr Fravel was not cooperative when social workers were trying to take the children. He also did not provide the children with belongings when they left in protective custody, therefore the "children left the home with only the clothes they were wearing."

The radical Democrats in our state have led the most immoral, big government, and anti-freedom agenda in the history of Minnesota. Tim Walz and Democratic Legislators have proven to be tyrants as they continue to waste our overtaxed Surplus dollars. We have always demanded a total refund of the Surplus to taxpayers who paid into it.

Meanwhile, the Democrats are pushing new taxes that target common people like you and I. HF580 is a bill that has been added to the Transportation Omnibus Bill (HF2887) which passed the House Ways and Means Committee yesterday. 

In this new tax bill, there will be a $0.75 tax on all deliveries for taxable items in the metro area for both businesses and individuals. While inflation, high prices, and insane taxes are killing Minnesotans, our politicians are looking to strip us of every dollar that we have. Think about the Amazon and other online stores that you purchase goods from. This is going to effect the bottom line for a lot of Minnesotans. See the language of this below:

Additionally, this bill pushes a 0.75% increase for sales taxes in the metro to fund their failed transit projects. This is a terrible measure that destroys both businesses and consumers. This is the government inflating prices to put more money in their pockets to help out their special interest and lobbyists buddies. See the sales tax section below:

This bill also increases the tab fees for vehicles and increases the sales tax to purchase vehicles. They of course allow for exemptions for government vehicles while forcing regular people to pay much higher taxes. This is the type of socialist, big government taxation that must be avoided at all costs. See section below:

Contact your Legislators and tell them to oppose HF2887 because it does nothing but waste our Surplus and increase our taxes! If we do not fight this radical agenda, it will run us right over! It is up to Patriots like you to save our state!

Maddi Kingsbury’s disappearance on March 31st has shaken southern Minnesota to its core. Her disappearance remains a complete mystery, so most observers look to Adam Fravel, the last person to see her, for answers. They have two children together, who have been taken out of his custody.

After a 12-day silence, his lawyer released this statement to the media:

“Over the course of the last 12 days my family and I have been subject to a myriad of accusations regarding the disappearance of the mother of my children, Maddi Kingsbury. During these last 12 days I have cooperated with law enforcement at every turn, including sitting down for multiple interviews with Winona County law enforcement. I did not have anything to do with Maddi’s disappearance. I want the mother of my 5-year-old and 2-year-old to be found and brought home safely. I want that more than anything. Law enforcement advised me on April 2nd that they would not recommend that I attend the press conferences or that I assist in the searches due to safety concerns. However, my non-attendance and silence has been inferred by many as a sign of apathy, or worse. That could not be further from the truth. I want Maddi home and for her to be able to be with our two children. God Bless the Kingsbury family and please bring her home safely.”

Just hours later, the Kingsbury family released their own statement:

“Nothing in life prepares you for this. The disappearance of our daughter and sister has been a waking nightmare with no respite. In the days and nights since Madeline disappeared, the immediate family and extended family have, collectively and individually, been experiencing emotions and trials that someone who has never been suddenly thrust into this horrific situation could ever imagine.

Eating is a mechanical act we force ourselves to do in order to keep our strength up so we can continue to advocate and search for Madeline. Sleep, if it comes, is fitful and fleeting. I have to think that the only thing that could come close to what we experience is the stress of combat, day after awful day. Initially we were so overwrought that we couldn't bear to look at each other but couldn't bear to look away. There were no words we could say to comfort each other and we felt alone and frantic. In the days since the family has circled the wagons and gathered from near and across the world. We will find Madeline. This is our mission and we will not falter.

We're private people finding ourselves thrust into the national limelight at the most traumatic time in our lives. We don't seek to draw attention to ourselves but, of course, want everyone everywhere to know about Madeline so we can reunite her with her children.

Members of our family and close friends coordinate closely with law enforcement and send out search teams day after day, every day.

From time to time and as we see the need we use social media to encourage and inform the large groups of volunteers helping us search for Madeline. We're overwhelmed by the dedication and tangible expressions of love demonstrated by the huge circle of warriors she unknowingly gathered around her her sorority sisters, coworkers at Mayo Clinic and other places, fellow students from her days at Winona State, other moms and her many, many friends, acquaintances and people whose lives she's touched.

We will continue to search for Madeline. We will not give up and our family will come out the other side of this forever changed but forever grateful for the tireless dedication of so many helpers - friends and relatives, people in law enforcement, other first responders, social workers, case workers, legal professionals, child advocates and many, many more.”

The State of Minnesota is continuing its mission to guilt white people by releasing a new report on the Native American Community. This time, they take aim at the University of Minnesota. Claims of genocide and erasure abound. 

In an effort to improve relations with Minnesota’s 11 Native American Tribes,  the TRUTH (Towards Recognition and University-Tribal Healing) project has stated:

•  The University of Minnesota’s founders: “committed genocide and ethnic cleansing of Indigenous peoples for financial gain, using the institution as a shell corporation through which to launder lands and resources.”
• The University has contributed to the erasure of Native Americans by failing to teach a “full history.”
• “Perpetual Reparations” are required (almost certainly paid for by the taxpayer).

The TRUTH project sits under the Minnesota Indian Affairs Council, which includes representatives from Indian tribes, state legislators, and commissioners from state agencies. Yes, its efforts are funded by your taxpayer dollars.

To force taxpayers to pay for events that occurred hundreds of years ago is nonsense. Hopefully, members of the legislature will recognize this.

Tax-and-Spend Democrats are on a mission to drive every job-creator and business-owner out of the state. In their latest budget proposal, they tack on excess taxes and fees to ensure they do that very thing. Among their newest proposals is a 5th income tax bracket.

As it currently stands, the highest tax rate in Minnesota is 9.85% for individuals making upwards of $183,340 a year. Under Rep. Kaohly Vang Her’s proposal, a fifth income tax bracket would be created and tax individuals 10.85% for an income over $600,000 a year.

This is not the only tax increase that Democrats have offered. They are also pushing a metro sales tax increase, and a vehicle tab fee increase. 

Consider that Minnesotans of all incomes are already fleeing the state in record numbers. According to the US Census Bureau, 19,400 Minnesota residents left the state from 2021-2022. 

Give these individuals (who have likely built and contributed to the local economy) reasons to leave, and they most certainly will. Minnesota’s immediate neighbors like Iowa and Wisconsin are much more friendly to taxpayers. South Dakota doesn’t even have an income tax!

When people leave our state, Democrats will just continue to raise taxes to make up for that lost income. Nevermind that Minnesota just brought in a record-shattering budget surplus. Democrats will still be inclined to raise taxes anyway!

If this passes, it will likely never be repealed. When Democrats introduced a 4th income tax bracket in 2012, Republicans failed to make a serious effort at repeal. The same is likely to be true with this 5th bracket. 

That’s why you need to call your state senator and tell them to vote against any and all tax increases. It is the only chance we have to save our state. Find your state senator here.

Tragedy has hit us close to home. A loving young mother of two from Winona went missing on Friday, March 31st shortly after dropping her children off at daycare. 

Her name is Madeline Kingsbury, or Maddi, for short. I've never met Maddi, but I'm friends with some of her family members and they describe her as a kind hearted, hard working, smart young woman who loves her children. Her sudden disappearance from home where a cell phone, purse, and coat remained is a mystery to family and the community. Temperatures that day were in the low 30s with a mixture of rain/snow in the area - so leaving home purposely without a coat and other items seems highly unlikely.

Sequence of events

On Friday morning, Maddi logged into work remotely at 7:20 AM. She worked as a clinical research coordinator at Mayo in Rochester. At 8:03 AM, her and the father of her children, Adam Fravel, dropped their children off at daycare. Megan Kingsbury, Maddi's sister, texted with her at 8:13 AM and that was the last communication anyone outside of her residence had with her.

Adam told authorities that he was with Maddi from daycare drop-off until about 10:00 am, before heading out to run errands for about an hour. When he returned, she was no longer there according to his statements.

When Maddi didn't return phone calls or texts and wasn't present at daycare pick up, a friend called the Winona PD to do a well check. It was unlike her to not communicate or be there for her children. 

Police say they have video of a van that fit the description of Maddi's, a 2014 Dark Blue Chrysler Town & Country minivan, traveling from Winona down to Rushford along Hwy 43 and then again traveling back to Winona in a timeframe between 10 am and 1:30 pm.

The van remained at the residence from 1:30 pm beyond. Both Maddi's residence and the van have been searched by law enforcement. Details of what that search are not being publicly released at this time. 

Below is an image of the route between Winona and Rushford. Google Maps estimates the distance would take 26 minutes to drive.

What makes this case interesting, and is the massive elephant in the room, is that Adam is from Mabel, MN, which is just south of Rushford along the Iowa border. The primary search area appears to be the rural, wooden area between Rushford and Mabel, even though we are not aware of any evidence showing the van being spotted south of Rushford.

A complicated relationship with Maddi has led many to speculate he is behind her disappearance. If he was behind it, did he take her to an area that he grew up and knew well? The remoteness of parts of Fillmore County would allow someone to move in the middle of the day and not be detected by many people.

In my view, law enforcement clearly sees him as the main suspect since the search area is focused on where he grew up and where his family still resides. The children were removed from his custody since last Tuesday, which makes things even more suspicious. But of course, this is pure speculation at this point. We don't know.

Amazing Show of Support for Maddi

On Good Friday (April 7th), an estimated 1,800 people came out to help with the search efforts. By Saturday, two volunteer locations were set up (Winona Fire Station and Rushford HS) with buses to transport people to search areas. Many more scoured the bluff country looking for any signs, including myself, who was visiting family across the river in Wisconsin.

The problem is the search area covered a geographical area that encompassed eastern Fillmore county, with many rural roads and large blocks of wooded forests and steep, hills that make up the iconic bluff country. The majority of the land is privately owned, with state forests and Wildlife Management Areas making up a small portion. Finding clues in an area like this is like finding a needle in a haystack.

Family and law enforcement are at a crossroad right now. No known crime has been committed at this point and more evidence is needed in order to dwindle down the search area. Any clues or RING camera footage from residents in the area would be a tremendous help at this stage. The family has offered a $50,000 reward for information that leads to finding Maddi.

BusinessInsider recently ran a profile on a mother and her 8 year-old “transgender daughter’, and their newfound fear of the Florida and its policies.

According to the interview, Amanda Denis began to transition their son when he told them that "My brain tells me I'm a girl."

At the time, the boy was 4 years old. Regardless, the family went and bought him clothes for a girl almost immediately. 

Florida's SB 254 prompted the family to move. Under this proposal, Courts can temporarily assume custody based on a parent's support for genital-mutilation surgery (AKA, "gender-affirming care").

The Denis family chose Minnesota because it will soon be a “transgender sanctuary state.” Meaning Minnesota will protect parents who decide to force sterilization and life-altering surgeries on their kids.

Amanda set up a GoFundMe page with a goal of raising $10,000, supposedly to help with the move to Minnesota. As of writing, the campaign has already raised $7,450. 

The Minnesota House of Representatives has already passed HF146/SF63  - the trans sanctuary bill - and Governor Walz has indicated that he intends to sign it. It is expected to be debated in the Minnesota Senate, where it is possible that it could stall and even fail.

Dr. Oren Ganor, the co-director of the Center for Gender Surgery at Boston Children’s Hospital, recently co-wrote an article that argued for increased training efforts for gender-affirming surgeries, particularly for minors. In the article, he expressed concern that some states are working to protect children from genital mutilation, which could lead to increased demand for these services in states that encourage this medical malpractice, like Minnesota.

Democrats are trying to make Minnesota a "sanctuary state" for trans surgeries, meaning that no court order or law in another state can stop parents from forcing their children to transition in Minnesota.

Many remain skeptical of the safety and efficacy of gender-affirming surgeries for minors. Critics argue that children and teenagers do not have the cognitive and emotional maturity to understand the consequences of such irreversible procedures fully. Furthermore, some studies suggest that gender dysphoria may resolve on its own without the need for medical intervention.

The long-term effects of hormone therapy and surgeries on minors are not fully understood. Experts warn of potential health risks, including infertility, sexual dysfunction, and increased risk of cancer and cardiovascular disease. It is also important to note that so-called “gender-affirming” surgeries do not result in improved mental health outcomes and may even lead to regret or detransition.

If Democrats make Minnesota a trans sanctuary state, there is no doubt that gender clinics in Minnesota will make money from a spike of gender dysphoric patients coming here. In the Minnesota Senate, Democrats only carry a one-seat majority.
