It appears that Minnesota Democrats want pedophilia to be a legitimate sexual orientation.

This week, Democrat leaders assigned ONLY Democrats to the Public Safety Omnibus conference committee to decide the final language of the massive Public Safety Omnibus bill. Usually, members of both parties get to participate in the final crafting of language.

The final bill, which will soon come up for a vote in the Democrat controlled House and Senate, contains insane language that protects "sexual attachment to children by an adult" while removing language that identified pedophilia as "not a protected class."

Here's the backstory. HF447, the House Civil Law Policy Bill, was debated and passed on April 26th. That bill had a section in it which got rid of current Minnesota law that stated "sexual orientation does not include a physical or sexual attachment to children by an adult." In other words, the passage of the bill with that language intact, would allow courts and others to interpret pedophilia as a legitimate sexual orientation.

House Republicans argued that Democrats were trying to validate pedophilia so they offered an amendment that read, "The physical or sexual attachment to children by an adult is not a protected class under this chapter." That amendment received unanimous support by both Parties and the final bill was passed with full Democrat support.

However, in the Democrat controlled conference committee last night, HF447 got put into the even larger, unconstitutional omnibus bill, SF2909, and the language of the Republican amendment was removed. If passed, the bill would once again allow courts and others to interpret pedophilia as a valid sexual orientation.

On the right side, the language is removed in the final omnibus bill that could receive a vote as soon as this evening.

WHO REPRESENTS ME

Minnesota Democrats just increased sales taxes in Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, Scott and Washington counties by .25%. This new $300 million in revenue will be redistributed to housing programs, highly unlikely to help those who pay into it the most.

The $1 billion housing bill just passed through the senate, and will soon be signed into law by Governor Tim Walz. This gigantic omnibus bill contains the infamous sales tax increase, which Democrats are now bragging about.

With a $21 billion budget surplus ($18 billion surplus + $3 billion budget reserves), there is no reason that taxes should be raised on hardworking Minnesotans. Democrats are only proving the stereotype that they live to increase taxes and spending. 

Come 2024, it is estimated that Minnesota will have the highest tax burden in the nation. Even the Tax Foundation has given up on Minnesota, concluding that residents should flee the state for South Dakota or Florida.

For those of us that are stuck in Minnesota, we can take solace in knowing that many swing voters are beginning to regret their votes for tax-raising, genital-mutilating, and baby-killing leftists in 2022. As previously reported, even the left-leaning Mayo Clinic is calling our Minnesota Democrats for their regulatory overreach.

Under a new conference committee agreement to the higher education omnibus bill (originally HF2073/SF2075), students whose families make under $80k a year will get free college tuition. All of this, of course, is paid for by Minnesota taxpayer dollars.

The program will begin in 2025 and initially cost $117 million. After that, the state will allocate $49.5 million a year to fund the program.

Representative Gene Pelowski (DFL-Winona) stated the goal of this plan is to “ensure that we have a skilled labor workforce that can get into that workforce and not have to incur debt.”

In reality, this free college tuition program will take individuals out of the labor force and put them into the failing public university system. All the while oversaturating the labor market with college degrees and making them worthless in the process. 

The bill will return to the House and Senate for final approval before going to the Governor’s desk. Now is the last chance to stop the bailouts of public universities. Call and email your state representatives and senators. 

Minnesota Democrats are starting to drive away their base of support with their far-left agenda. Provisions in the Democrat-crafted Health Omnibus Bill have upset Rochester’s Mayo Clinic and even prompted them to make a public statement about their future in Minnesota.

Mayo Clinic is world-renowned for its work in medicine. Unsurprisingly, they have also lobbied and given money to several high-profile Democrat candidates across the nation. In 2022, they also gave $19,540 to the Minnesota Democrat Party.

Now, the clinic is threatening to pour its future investments into other states. Its first provision of concern would require hospitals to develop government-regulated committees of nurses that can work towards solutions to overstaffing. The Keeping Nurses at the Bedside Act (originally HF1700/SF1651) has been rolled into the Health Omnibus Bill. Mayo Clinic is asking for a special exemption to this provision.

The second provision would create an advisory board tasked with recommending price caps on healthcare and medication (originally HF2202/SF2002), which Mayo Clinic has asked to be stripped from the Health Omnibus Bill entirely.

If legislators do not grant Mayo’s demands, they will take their $1.1 billion in investment plans to another state. Legislators should certainly not be beholden to corporations, but it is Mayo’s right as a business to leave the state if the environment is no longer friendly to them.

This is just one example of a business that has set its eyes on a more friendly environment for businesses – and this corporation is a major Democrat donor!

Our massive budget surplus is dwindling by the day in Minnesota. Politicians, especially the Minnesota Democrats, have no respect for your hard-earned, overtaxed dollars. Pet projects pushed by lobbyists and special interests seem to be the priority of our Legislature when they should be giving a total refund of the Surplus to MN taxpayers.

Many may remember our reporting on the “pay to play” scheme that was being run by Senator Sandra Pappas (Dem-SD65). Pappas broke down crying in that committee and admitted that she pulled GOP bills from the committee agenda as retribution for them not voting for the bonding bill. She argued that if GOP Senators wanted projects in the bill, they would have to vote for the bill and that there will be consequences for how they voted. This is the very type of corruption that Action 4 Liberty is fighting against.

A bonding bill requires 3/5ths of the Legislature’s support in order to pass, unlike most bills that just require a majority vote. This means that this bill is the single piece of leverage that the GOP has under Democratic trifecta control. The bill in question, HF669, is a large, corrupt omnibus bill spending nearly $2 Billion that puts our state in debt rather than spending the money they have (our overtaxed Surplus). This bill passed the House with the help of 21 RINOs but it was held back by the Senate GOP because it did not include tax cuts.

Since then, the bonding bill appeared to be dead on arrival due to the Senate GOP. However, this no longer appears to be the case because MN House Speaker Melissa Hortman (Dem-34B) is continuing the Pay to Play tactics! She told MPR News that she approached the Senate GOP for one last chance to pass a bonding bill. To make matters worse, Hortman refused to say the details of the plan and is hiding critical information from the public! This is anti-transparency and forces the Pay to Play scheme.

Hortman says that the Senate GOP has until Monday at 5PM to come to an agreement or the Democrats will move forward with their crony, big spending bonding bill as a “cash only” bill which would spend more of our Surplus and require only a majority vote. The GOP should not negotiate with terrorists and should not spend one more cent of our Surplus!

Unfortunately, Senate GOP “leader” Mark Johnson (RINO-SD1) appears to be open to bonding bill discussions and hopes to reach an agreement (for this radical, big government bill). What a joke! Politicians love to leave the public out of their talks that take place behind closed doors! The GOP needs to play tough once and for all: Refuse any deal that doesn't include giving back the surplus, protecting gun rights and stopping all the Democrats' tax proposals.

The line in the sand is drawn, the GOP needs to fight for conservative principles and not concede an inch!

A children’s clothing store in Chaska, Minnesota has announced on Facebook that they will be hosting a drag story hour for children. They also note that the event will feature “inclusive” books, which is conventionally known as code for LGBT or Critical Race Theory (CRT) themed.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, July 8th at 11am. As of writing, the event has 9 rsvps and 41 people that are “interested.”

Drag Queens dressing up and promoting their strange and dangerous ideology to children is nothing short of child abuse. Of course, the parents who bring their children to these events have no remorse for the actions that they are taking. 

Left-wing activists have repeatedly claimed that they are not trying to groom or indoctrinate children. However, those claims do not hold up when the legality of these events are threatened.

When Florida Governor Ron DeSantis raised the age for drag show attendance to 21 in his state, a major pride organization outright canceled their “pride fest.” It does not take a genius to connect the dots.

Your children are being groomed by society to buy into an oppressive cult, devoid of higher purpose or meaning. Sexualized events such as drag shows and pride parades have no place in mainstream culture for children.

The Office of the Legislative Auditor (OLA) released a report on Thursday that highlighted more fraud, waste, and abuse coming from Minnesota’s management of pandemic funds. This "spot check" analyzed over $400 million in funds out of billions allocated from the Federal government. There are millions in misallocated funds in this snapshot from the OLA - meaning there is likely more abuse that has yet to be uncovered. 

As you may recall, the federal government printed trillions in new cash in 2020 and 2021 for pandemic programs. Many of these funds were laundered into fraudulent programs, like Feeding Our Future. This phony nonprofit stole at least $250 million in taxpayer funds. 

Now, the OLA has revealed that eight state agencies were non-compliant instances “related to obtaining and using emergency purchasing authority; managing the inventory of COVID-19 supplies and equipment; funding, payment, and support for expenditures; and final reporting on emergency purchases.”

In other words, bureaucrats in Minnesota’s state government went rogue and ignored policies and procedures meant to protect taxpayer dollars. Among these agencies that abused their power was the Office of the Lieutenant Governor.

Lt Governor Peggy Flanagan’s office appears to have misused as much as $13,110 in federal funds. Secretary of State Steve Simon, on the other hand, made $459,539 in unauthorized purchases.

Will there be any accountability for this misuse of funds? Unlikely. The leading publication that is reporting on this mess is the Minneapolis StarTribune. Their new CEO, former Department of Employment and Economic Development, Steve Grove, was also accused of mismanaging funds. 

In total, millions of dollars were misused at the hands of Democrats who control Minnesota’s government. It is sad to say that many will not be surprised.

In our backwards country, tyrannical individuals like Amy Klobuchar who abuse the Constitution receive awards for “upholding” the Constitution! Many remember her failed Presidential campaign, oftentimes looking like a nervous wreck, and she has continued to push her unappealing agenda as one of our US Senators.

Amy Klobuchar pretends to be a moderate Senator despite falling in line with the radical Democrats on nearly every issue! Her 2024 re-election bid will be her toughest yet due to her alignment with Biden’s agenda to destroy America.

This award is supposedly to recognize individuals who compromise and are bipartisan. However, Patriots understand that when RINOs and radical Democrats work together, it is We the People who get screwed over!

Klobuchar has been an avid supporter of vaccine mandates and supported Biden’s unconstitutional vaccine mandates for businesses with over 100 employees. Before it was declared unconstitutional by the Supreme Court, Klobuchar voted to keep the mandates in place while Senators Joe Manchin (West Virginia) and Jon Tester (Montana) voted with the GOP by a vote of 52-48. Additionally, Klobuchar supported Covid vax mandates for our military and even suggested that “If you care about the troops, get vaccinated.”

Gun Control

Amy Klobuchar has been a fierce advocate for tyrannical, unconstitutional gun control. No Legislator should ever be given an award for Constitutional excellence if they seek to infringe on our Second Amendment Right. Klobuchar was involved in a gun control filibuster in 2016, despite the fact that Klobuchar says she wants to eliminate the filibuster from the Senate. Klobuchar has used every tragedy she can to take away guns from law-abiding citizens and has an “F” rating from the NRA.

Global Warming Hoax

Klobuchar lost all credibility for herself and her ideas at the launch of her Presidential campaign. She stood in an ice-cold blizzard and warned Americans about global warming! Expect electrical blackouts, less natural oil, and more bird-killing windmills/China-made solar panels with Klobuchar anywhere in power. During her 2020 campaign, Klobuchar argued to make the USA carbon neutral by 2050! Destroying the natural gas, coal, and energy industry is anti-freedom and prohibits our Constitutional Right to Commerce for citizens.

Government Surveillance of Citizens

In 2015, Klobuchar voted for the “Freedom Act” which expanded the “Patriot Act” which allowed government surveillance of American citizens by the NSA. At every turn, Klobuchar has stood ready to encroach on our Fourth Amendment Right to Privacy. As we see the Deep State in our country weaponizing the government against regular people, we need to be vigilant as ever and fight the illegal and unconstitutional spying on all Americans.

Proxy Wars

Klobuchar has never been accused by anyone of being smart, calculated, or cunning when it comes to foreign policy. She has consistently supported military intervention for causes outside of the United States’ interests and scope, all of which are unconstitutional (Article 1, Section 8, Clause 11) due to the lack of a Congressional declaration of war since 1942. Klobuchar has put our country in danger over her uncompromising view of the Russian-Ukrainian war. A few months back, Klobuchar and fellow “Constitutionalist” award winner RINO Rob Portman visited Ukraine and pledged continuing support from the US. Additionally, Klobuchar has been in favor of invading Libya, Syria, and installing an unelected puppet in Venezuela. Klobuchar is also a globalist who supports the World Economic Forum as they have written puff-pieces about her and she quotes them in her press releases.    

Conclusion

Amy Klobuchar is a fake moderate, nothing she stands for is moderate and she is just another pawn for the evil Democrats. She may get bipartisan support for bills but that is only because RINOs also want to destroy our great country. An award for “Constitutional excellence” is a slap in the face to Constitutionalists in our state and country. Klobuchar is just as radical, wicked, and anti-American as any US Senator. Contact American University School of Public Affairs and tell them to revoke their award! We cannot save our country with this kind of gaslighting!

While Minnesota taxpayers are struggling with high taxes, high inflation, and without our Surplus money, the Legislature is hoping to pass a bailout of crime-ridden Minneapolis.

During the Black Lives Matter riots following the George Floyd controversy, Tim Walz refused to deploy the National Guard before the third precinct police station was burned to the ground! Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey began shifting the blame back and forth, leading to the infamous quote insulting the National Guard where Walz says “I think the mayor said, 'I request the National Guard, whew, this is great. We're going to have massively trained troops.' No. You're going to have 19-year-olds who are cooks."

Despite this scuffle, Walz endorsed Jacob Frey for re-election as they both share the goal of destroying Minnesota. The level of destruction in Minneapolis and across our state was the beginning to the domino effect we have seen nationwide. If blame should be cast for the rioting, looting, destruction, and racial terrorism in our country, look no further than the Walz and Frey.

Instead of calling this out and fighting the policies of Walz and Frey, the Legislature is seeking to bail them out and potentially provide them with over $100 Million of our tax dollars! Why should Minnesotans be responsible for the actions of criminals and crony politicians? Especially when we have a massive Surplus that should be refunded to taxpayers!

“The Promise Act” was the original bill that Legislators were pushing to get this bailout. However, as usual in the MN Legislature, they decided to hide the bill into a massive 174 page omnibus bill! The Omnibus Economic Development Bill (SF3035) now contains the bailout funding and language.

This gives cover to Tim Walz and Jacob Frey, who just gave a radical and out of touch State of the City Speech.

Contact your Legislators and tell them to oppose a bailout of Minneapolis! It is not the taxpayers responsibility to pay for the disaster Minneapolis has become due to radical left policies. Minnesotans are owed their Surplus back, pressure your Representatives to NOT SPEND ONE MORE PENNY! 

The United Nations sent an “Anti-Racism Coalition” team to North Minneapolis on Tuesday to investigate cases of racism and bias in the state. The city was picked for the U.N’s research because it was ground zero for the George Floyd riots in 2020.

The goal of this research is to create new recommendations for how to handle the perceived issues of racism worldwide. Knowing the globalists who run the United Nations, this report will likely recommend far-left legislation that advances reparations for slavery.

Courtney Ross, George Floyd's girlfriend, was present at the event to give testimony. She told CBS News that she hopes the United Nations "can press the United States to make big changes."

Racism is not a systemic issue, nor can it be solved by any kind of government handout. We do not the United Nations to lecture us about racism. Americans deserve to be governed by Americans, not foreign entities looking to instate a global governing authority. This includes every organization from the United Nations to the World Economic Forum. 

Minnesotans must reject these forces who look to usurp American values. Whatever the United Nations report concludes, legislators in our state need not pay any attention to it.
