On Wednesday April 9th, U.S. Military veterans attended a rally at the Minnesota Capitol and let their opinions be known when Tyrant Tim Walz went up to give a speech. As Walz took the stage, boos filled the Capitol rotunda. Video of it can be seen here.

One person can be heard saying “In 2020 you shut down the First Amendment! You shut down churches! You’re a coward!” 

It can also be heard in the crowd “You sympathize with the Chinese!” which means the knowledge of Walz’ deep connection to Communist China is growing. 

Action 4 Liberty recently reported on Walz’ deep connection to China, longing for a shadow government, and his ties to CCP operatives. A4L has also been the first to report on Walz’ love of the globalist World Economic Forum and its authoritarian leader, Klaus Schwabb.

Many veterans have serious disdain for Walz after he was caught time after time exaggerating and lying about his own military record. This included veterans claiming Walz committed stolen valor by purposefully misstating his military rank and for his early retirement/refusal to serve when called. Walz and Kamala lost ground for Democrats across this country and in Minnesota. The team of a cackling know-nothing puppet and a habitual liar Communist running mate was not what America was looking for in the White House! The lies of Tim Walz continue to pile up and veterans were not about to sit back and politely listen to the load of crap that was coming their way from the podium. Walz gaslit the crowd about fully funding veterans, when it is clear as day that there are veterans in our state suffering.

With Walz desperately trying to stay relevant for a 2028 Presidential campaign, the best way to rip that dream away from him would be to strip him of his precious Governorship in 2026! Weirdo Walz can’t gaslight veterans and many Minnesotans may be too fed up to put up with a third term of Tampon Tim. However, it will take a strong candidate who can unify conservatives to do so. Former failed MNGOP Chair RINO David Hann was previously talking about a Governor run but has been awfully quiet since A4L exposed that Hann was paying tens of thousands of dollars to Kamala supporter Michael Brodkorb! It even appears that Hann’s last interview about a supposed Governor run was with none other than Michael Brodkorb and former Emmer staffer Becky Scherr! 

Action 4 Liberty will continue exposing the truth and calling out big government swamp creatures regardless of their political party. Veterans and Minnesotans at large are done with showing deference to radical Democrats, the RINO method hasn’t worked. A4L will continue to champion and raise up the voices of grassroots conservative Patriots!

Following the arrest and federal charges brought against incumbent Senator Justin Eichorn for attempted prostitution of a minor, the seat was vacated and a special election was filed. On Tuesday, a hotly contested debate was held by the Brainerd Lakes Chamber of Commerce & League of Women Voters among the GOP competitors.

Senate District 6 spans across Cass, Crow Wing, and Itasca Counties. Action 4 Liberty has previously reported on the race and the candidates. The primary date is Tuesday, April 15th. The full debate can be viewed here.

During last night’s debate, seven GOP candidates participated while former failed MNGOP Chair Jennifer Carnahan claimed she was sick and could not attend. Instead of speaking with voters directly, Carnahan will instead be known for her attempt to purge A4L grassroots supporters out of the MNGOP, her recorded phone call laughing about her then husband’s eventual death, her connection to convicted child sex trafficker Anton Lazzaro, and refusing to sign the Never Again Pledge.

Of the seven candidates in attendance, only ONE candidate has signed A4L’s Never Again Pledge to prove that he will support the strongest piece of legislation to prevent Walz or any future Governor from ever locking down our state again with abusive Emergency Powers. All other candidates have refused to stand with the conservative grassroots that A4L became the voice for during Covid tyranny. Kern has even made a video explaining why he signed it and why he cares so deeply about this battle. See Kern’s pledge and participation in A4L protests against lockdowns below:

EVERY SINGLE other candidate has flatly refused to sign the pledge and prove to voters that they will fight for freedom! One candidate, veterinarian John Howe, used his wife to convey the message to A4L that he does not have time to read the bill. However, during the debate, Howe brought up two other pieces of legislation that he supports… It sounds like he has time to read other bills, but not a bill on the most critical fight against big government in our lifetime!? While Howe gave good answers on mining and shrinking government, refusing to sign the Never Again Pledge is not a good sign that he would be a fighter.

Doug Kern bragged up the Never Again Bill during the debate and said he will work with anybody to do good. Doug said “People always said, well it’s Action 4 Liberty. No, its Action 4 You” and that he’d talk with people across the aisle to get it passed. Immediately following Doug’s strong answer, candidate Angel Zierden sneered and instead suggested building trust with Democrats and pushing bipartisan bills. Does she not realize Democrats are destroying our state and weak RINOs helping them are the problem?!

Zierden is a potential secret Democrat who endorsed radical leftist Jen Schultz for Congress (CD8) against Pete Stauber. However, that did not stop her from name dropping Stauber in the debate as if she were a supporter, she clearly has zero credibility. Zierden’s debate answers would continually hark back to her institutional knowledge and support for “bipartisanship”, which shows she is weak to Democrat arguments before even getting elected.

Also participating in the debate was RINOs Keri Heintzeman and Josh Gazelka. Josh is the son of RINO Paul Gazelka. Josh spent most of his time trying to sound agreeable but was oddly passionate about lowering corporate taxes. In what was a potential Freudian slip, Gazelka said he was running to serve his “family” which may be true since his father has seemingly lined up an endorsement for him from the gun-control loving, drunk driving Democrat-endorsing,  MPPOA. On most issues Josh offered standard Republican thinking, however, at one point Josh said that Democrats are not evil!

Largely absent from Keri Heintzeman’s responses were acknowledgements that she is running for a seat while her husband, RINO Josh Heintzeman, is currently in the State House. While using President Trump as a shield and costume, Keri talked up many issues like school choice. Many wonder why she and her husband both want to play politics over a hundred miles away from their district. Keri has the support of unhinged Walter Hudson via a retweet and has her campaign managed by shady political operative and failed Deputy Chair candidate Kip Christianson.

The debate was interrupted by an attendee, Troy Scheffler, who yelled that Keri was a liar. Troy’s yelling and cursing continued and most of the arguing can be heard in the debate audio. Some viewers told A4L he exposed Keri Heintzeman on the mentioned court case and others say he was out of line and was perhaps drinking beforehand.

Other debate participants included Matt Zinda and Steve Cotariu. While Zinda brought up many good points including HRCC corruption, Josh Heintzeman doorknocking Erik Mortensen’s door for Mort’s opponent, and Heintzeman's revenge plot on a police chief, it was perhaps overshadowed by Scheffler’s interruption and Zinda’s racialized perspective. Sources tell A4L that Zinda is telling people not to vote for him and that he does not want to win. Zinda has also shared a post on social media calling President Trump a pedophile, clearly showing he is not in line with the Trump MAGA era of the GOP.

Steve Cotariu claimed to be a lifelong Republican, however, it appears he donated to Shaky Amy Klobuchar’s Presidential campaign and radical leftist Jen Schultz for Congress (CD8). If Cotariu deserves credit, it was for his public support for “zero base budgeting” which means government making budgets from the bottom up and not simply continuing spending levels. Cotariu also made good points around not electing career politicians, but he is going to need a little magic to win. Unfortunately, Cotariu has refused to sign our Never Again Pledge so he seemingly will not prevent future tyranny by government in the name of things like Covid. 

As the only signer of the Never Again Pledge, Doug Kern has made it clear that he will stand up to the Establishment and fight for liberty. The fact that there are Republicans who are afraid to stand up to radical authoritarian policies before they even get into office is a clear sign that they will cave even more once the pressure is on. Doug highlighted other issues including support for mining, deregulation, the Trump tariffs, being 100% pro-life, reducing spending (called for pre-covid spending levels), returning surplus money to the taxpayers, removing DEI from schools, and keeping boys out of girl sports. Kern also mentioned the recent pointless legislative battle about giving wildrice an inherent right to life with similar words and thinking said by Senator Nathan Wesenberg in committee.

Action 4 Liberty will continue to stand with Patriots and fight for limited government. A4L is building momentum thanks to grassroots conservatives and we will continue to be their megaphone!

Republican U.S. Senate candidate Royce White slammed MNGOP Chair Alex Plechash in a social media post for Plechash’s lack of neutrality in the U.S. Senate and Congressional District 7 contests. See below:

Royce was the party’s endorsed candidate and nominee for the U.S. Senate in 2024. Royce has previously called out former MNGOP Chair RINO David Hann.

MNGOP party officers are required by the party bylaws to remain neutral before a party endorsement is earned by a vote of the delegates. This can be seen in Article IV, Section 8 of the MNGOP Bylaws, see below:

Chair Alex Plechash has already failed in this department as he issued an endorsement on March 19th (on behalf of the party) for incumbent RINO Congresswoman Michelle Fischbach in the CD7 race in clear contradiction of the party bylaws. See below:

Royce White called out Plechash for the public, pre-primary endorsement seen above and also alleges that Plechash is calling Royce’s opponent, Adam Schwarze, the most qualified candidate. Royce also mentions how Schwarze worked for Nikki Haley’s campaign against President Trump. This can be found in a Nikki Haley campaign press release which states that Adam Schwarze was the MN CD5 Co-Chair for Haley.

MNGOP party officers, especially the Chair, should not be placing their thumbs on the scale pre-endorsement. Delegates deserve the opportunity to decide for themselves who they want to endorse without Establishment corruption. There is an incumbency protection racket and RINOs do not care who the local grassroots endorses.

We have reported many times on the corrupt tactics used by RINOs in nominating committees to try to block endorsement or party officer competition like was done to conservative Chris Corey in CD6 against Globalist RINO Tom Emmer, Bret Bussman in his run for MNGOP Chair, Jodi Welsh in her run for CD6 Chair, and A4L Board member Dale Zoerb in his recent run (and victory) for CD4 State Exec.

The endorsement process is a tool for the grassroots to make real change and require higher standards for the politicians that seek to earn their votes. When party officers like CD1 Chair Aaron Farris and CD6 Chair Bobby Benson are paid by the incumbent, who can trust them to run that endorsing convention fairly? Unfortunately those Congressional Districts do not include a provision blocking such corruption. However, this can be found in the MNGOP Constitution (Article 10, Section 4, Part B), see below:

Action 4 Liberty will continue to demand party officers conduct themselves fairly among candidates pre-endorsement and that politicians deliver and fight for liberty.

After the party smeared and attacked A4L, the grassroots delegates of CD4 just repudiated the MNGOP State Exec. Board by placing RINO Hunter and A4L Board member Dale Zoerb to be their voice on the very board that passed a bogus condemnation of our organization.

The MNGOP’s 4th Congressional District convention took place this weekend (Saturday, April 5th) in Roseville for the purposes of electing party leadership roles and completing other party business. The convention chair, former Senator Roger Chamberlain, and the convention parliamentarian, Senator Andrew Matthews (SD27), each ran the convention in a fair and objective manner. However, an attempt to hurt Dale Zoerb by the Nominations Committee was unsuccessful as he claimed a seat in the MNGOP's top Exec. Board.

Among the leadership elections at the convention included: Chair, Deputy Chair, Secretary, State Exec. Vice Chair, and CD4 board Vice Chairs. The battle between the grassroots conservatives and Establishment RINOs for these critical leadership roles is persistent throughout the state and can be found in nearly every district. 

The most competitive race came out of the State Exec. Vice Chair election, which initially had four candidates participating: Jim Carson, Sue Erickson, John Kysylyczyn, and Dale Zoerb. Unlike the other leadership elections, there was a Q&A section where delegates could submit questions to be answered by each candidate. A rules fight was offered by this article’s author to eliminate the Q&A section which was narrowly defeated via a voice vote. Subsequently, I was then invited to participate in the Q&A committee to help select questions and did so. Despite a couple of different opinions on some of the questions, the selection process was completed fairly and respectfully.

One area of corrupt preferential treatment that was exhibited was through the Nomination Committee (NomCom), which found Dale Zoerb to be “qualified with reservations” and the other three candidates as “qualified”. Zoerb is a very successful business owner who has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to conservative and Republican causes/candidates and is on the Action 4 Liberty Board of Directors (which is why the NomCom found him “qualified with reservations”). Among other things, during Dale’s speaking time he laid out his vision for this position, the need to support endorsed candidates, called out former MNGOP Chair David Hann for wiping the MNGOP computer data, called out Bobby Benson for being behind the bogus A4L condemnation, and the need to hold GOP politicians accountable while slipping in a few jokes. Dale Zoerb has become known as the “RINO hunter” due to his iconic jacket and hardcore conservative beliefs. Like most of the Grassroots, Dale feels backstabbed by the RINOs who work against conservative interests! See below:

During the Q&A, RINO and Big Pharma lobbyist John Kysylyczyn angrily threw false accusations at A4L and even read through some of our article headlines! Kysylyczyn made libelous accusations against A4L, which he should publicly retract before A4L considers legal action against him. John’s angry and bitter attitude gave him a pathetic last place performance.

After the first round of voting, Carson and Kysylyczyn went on stage and begged their supporters to back Sue Erickson to try to prevent Dale from winning. Unfortunately for them, Dale won a majority of the votes on the next ballot! See results below:

As seen above, this was an extremely narrow victory and was only possible due to the grassroots conservatives who participated in Saturday’s convention. The “qualified with reservation” designation has become a weaponized tool to dissuade delegates from supporting a candidate, but that was overcame since the grassroots does not need a select few to tell them who is “qualified” for office. As delegates, they understand they can make up their own mind and don’t need to be guided by the Establishment. 

The MNGOP State Executive Board is becoming more and more grassroots each day! As we’ve previously reported, Otter Tail Patriot and leader Nathan Miller recently won the CD7 State Exec. position and Bret Bussman defeated longtime CD7 Chair and Michelle Fischbach staffer Craig Bishop. The very people who the Establishment (like unhinged Walter Hudson) want to disenfranchise and purge from the party are the ones who are getting elected to the highest echelon of the party leadership! 

In addition to the CD4 State Exec. Vice Chair race, pro-grassroots Chris Sears was elected Chair with a very large victory margin of 66-17 against John Rheinberger. Chris Sears is a strong conservative activist who worked in support for several campaigns and has plans to grow the party and laid out several goals and missions to accomplish. As a hardcore conservative, Sears was in attendance of the 2023 A4L Christmas Dinner and won a custom tie worn by Senator Nathan Wesenberg on the Senate floor to fight radical Democrat policy that sought to ban gas powered lawn mowers, chainsaws, and other equipment! The change of leadership in several Congressional Districts is indicative that the Grassroots is paying attention, fighting back, and winning. A few CD conventions still remain and the change within the MNGOP has become unavoidable. Dale Zoerb’s victory shakes up the party and completely REPUDIATES the bogus A4L condemnation passed by the Exec. Board. MNGOP Chair Alex Plechash said organizations that attack Republicans are “poison to the party” then the delegates elected an A4L leader who is known for holding RINOs accountable! Perhaps the party should now retract and apologize for the sham condemnation!

The smears don’t work! They only make us stronger! Patriots can sniff out BS and are throwing it right back at the Establishment. Action 4 Liberty looks forward to the party reconciling with the fact that their attacks against us for holding RINOs accountable have failed yet again. As we see House Republicans pushing a 2026-2027 budget (costs $66.6B) that will spend YOUR surplus dollars, would be the 2nd most expensive budget in MN history, and is more expensive than Walz’ plan, the RINOs and their big government agenda must be exposed! Action 4 Liberty will continue leading the way!

If you are searching for big government corruption and crony pet projects for crooked politicians/lobbyists and special interests, look no further than the bonding bill.

A bonding bill is a piece of legislation that plunges our state into debt rather than spending money that they already have. By attaching all kinds of funding for local projects, many RINOs and other Establishment politicians will justify voting for debt if a project is done in their district. Bonding bills require the support of 3/5ths of the Legislature which means that Republicans can block the legislation if they largely stand united against big government.

Action 4 Liberty has previously exposed the corruption surrounding bonding bills, including our coverage of Democrat Senator Sandy Pappas (SD65) who admitted she was running a pay to play scheme with the bill out of retribution for some of the votes taken by Republican Senators. As the Chair of the Senate Capital Investment Committee, 'pay to play' Pappas is typically leading the way for the debt-ridden bonding bill.

Pappas and radical leftist Democrat Senate Majority Leader Erin Murphy (SD64) held a press conference on April 3rd to release a $1.35B target for a bonding bill. Pappas makes the ridiculous argument that a bonding bill that costs less than a BILLION dollars will be “tough to get through the legislature”. In the eyes of conservatives, a bill that costs a billion dollars should be tough to get through the legislature because it is too big, not the other way around!

On the House side, Democrat co-chair of the House Capital Investment committee Fue Lee (59A) is arguing the bonding bill be kept below $700M, but also argues that if it is too low that it may not pass. Due to the 67-67 tie in the MN House, the House Capital Investment committee is co-chaired by Lee and RINO Mary Franson (12B). Lee is likely arguing for a smaller figure due to the tie in the House.

The state budget forecast released on March 6th reduced the state’s bonding capacity for this year from $790M to $700M. Radical Democrats want to spend more than is even fiscally feasible! Minnesota cannot afford more pet projects to assist crooked politicians’ reelection efforts. 

Unfortunately, RINOs love debt-ridden bonding bills too! RINO Senator Karin Housely (SD33) released a broad, unspecific statement in support of the legislature passing a bonding bill this session. Housely is the GOP lead in the Senate Capital Investments committee and her willingness to cave, and not outwardly fight the $1.3B plan shows her intentions plainly. She must correct-course and represent the conservative base that elected her instead of representing the lobbyists and special interests. According to the Minnesota Reformer, Housely said Republicans want to pass a bonding bill this session.

Aside from wasting our money, if RINOs pass this bill, they are giving swing district Democrats certain projects to campaign on! Why give your opposition free campaigning material?!? The GOP must learn how to play hard-ball and refuse to put our state in debt!

The GOP has the votes to block the debt-loving Democrat plan. Conservatives have been disappointed with how easily Republicans have caved this session and are demanding the GOP finally fight back. Blocking the bonding bill is a key way for GOP legislators to fight for fiscal responsibility and deliver for their base. Action 4 Liberty will keep Patriots updated as this battle progresses.

When Democrats have power, they utilize it to its fullest extent. When Republicans have power, they cave to Democrat demands and fail to deliver for their base.

Former A4L President Jake Duesenberg recently published an article breaking down the House GOP’s budget proposal and exposed how their plan:

1. Spends $300M more of your tax dollars than the Walz budget (which is also far too big)
2. If passed, this will be the 2nd largest budget in MN history
3. Spends more money than the state’s projected revenue (how much state brings in through taxes)
4. Overspends by $2.1B (which would be taken out of your Surplus)
5. Increases budgets for several radical leftist offices, including ANTIFA Keith Ellison
6. Budget totals $66.6B (mark of the beast)
7. Cements $14B of Democrat budget increases
8. Budget does not return the remaining Surplus or the $3.2B in budget reserves
9. Gives up all leverage to radical Democrats

Conservatives across our state our livid that Republicans would give up their tied leverage in the State House for a budget proposal that could’ve just as easily been introduced by Democrats! The big government proposal has been flaunted as a bipartisan (uniparty) approach by RINO Speaker Lisa ‘Kamala’ Demuth (13A), who has proven herself to be an empty suit who lacks leadership and negotiation skills. This is no surprise, we have seen her cave on election integrity by allowing radical leftist Brad Tabke (54A) to be seated despite 21 ballots being thrown out in his race that was decided by 15 votes.

Demuth is not alone in defending spineless, anti-conservative GOP budget proposal; The MN House Ways and Means Committee voted UNANIMOUSLY to move the budget forward on April 1st. The budget is coded BudRes02. When crooked Republican and Democrat politicians are on the same page, We The People are getting screwed over.

Some GOP Representatives have even tried, and failed, to publicly defend the bogus budget including unhinged, phony fiscal conservative Rep. Walter Hudson (30A). When Duesenberg exposed how much this budget actually spends and pointed out the numerous flaws, Hudson went on the attack to defend the Establishment’s garbage plan! See the exchange on X below:

As seen above, Walter tries to obfuscate the truth and beat around the bush by attacking Jake instead of addressing the obvious flaws with the budget. While it is true that it is the “largest cut to the budget in state history” it is also true that this is the 2nd largest budget ever for our state! Walter can’t use alternative facts to hide from the truth! This plan spends more than the Walz budget, cements $14B in Democrat spending, and wastes YOUR Surplus dollars!

Many RINOs are showing their true colors with this budget proposal including RINO Ron Kresha (10A) by arguing that Walz’ budget proposal cuts TOO MUCH on education! Our failed public education system has turned schools into Communist indoctrination camps and RINO Ron thinks throwing more money at them will solve the problem! House Republicans (like GOP Floor “leader” Harry Niska, 31A) can also be found sharing the following social media post to mislead their constituents into thinking that they are fiscal conservatives that are returning wasted money to taxpayers. The state government could function just fine with a lot less money. Just a couple years ago in the 2022-2023 biennium, the state budget was only $52.1B. Why are Republicans not fighting to bring it back down to that level? Why would they rather waste YOUR surplus dollars funding a bloated, heavy-handed, anti-freedom Walz administration?

If the GOP pushed a $52.1B budget and removed the pointless rainy day fund, taxpayers could get $7,720 EACH! Republicans could give the largest rebate checks back to We The People but are instead working with Democrats to spend your money!

Conservatives are more and more disillusioned by Republican politicians who cave to liberal demands without any push-back. There are two liberal political parties in MN, one of them just pretends like they’re not. The big government budget proposal pushed by the GOP proves that crooked politicians do not want to shrink the size and scope of government, they just want to maintain the status quo. 

Contact your Senator and Representative HERE to let them know your thoughts on this insane, bloated, Surplus-wasting budget proposal. Pressure is the ultimate tool of the Grassroots to hold their elected leaders responsible. To stop the 2nd LARGEST Budget in Minnesota history, the GOP must correct-course, vote against the budget on the House floor, and develop a new budget that doesn’t take advantage of taxpayers. It is NOT too late for them to do the right thing!

Minnesota House Republicans announced a budget deal on April 1st that would cement in the Democrat's massive spending increases they implemented over the past two years. The House Republicans proposal actually spends more money than liberal Governor Tim Walz' proposed budget. And the Republicans budget overspends by $2.1 Billion, which suggests they plan to use surplus money to pay for their proposed heightened spending.

In the fiscal year 2022-23 biennium budget, total spending was only $52.1 Billion. But after Republicans suffered a massive defeat in the 2022 November elections, Democrats won a trifecta in the Minnesota government with control of the House, Senate and Governor's mansion. The Democrats stole a $20 Billion budget surplus from taxpayers and increased government spending by a whopping 36%, or $19 Billion. 

Here's a comparison of spending levels from the last two bienniums and the Walz and GOP proposals for the upcoming 2026-27 biennium, which shows Republicans' proposal keeps government in the DFL's new bloated government spending levels which is funding fraud and waste. 

When Republicans won back seats in last November's election, ending in a tied Minnesota House, they should've led the way and proposed shrinking government back down to the pre-DFL trifecta spending levels of $52.1 Billion. After all, they campaigned on how reckless Democrats were by growing government.

But yesterday Republicans announced they cut a "deal" with the Democrats a month and a half before the legislative session ends. That "deal" cements in $14.5 Billion of the new Democrat spending and only reduces base level spending (what was projected to be spent) for the upcoming FY 2026-27 biennium by a measly $1.16 Billion. Republicans are proposing to keep the bloated state government spending at an elevated spending level of $66.6 Billion.

Surprisingly, Governor Tim Walz' proposed spending is nearly $300 million less than the Republicans, but like the House Republicans, also cements in the new DFL spending levels!

What's more concerning is that the Republican proposal would actually overspend by $2.1 Billion, since the projected revenues according to the latest budget forecast are only $64.5 Billion and the proposed spending by the House Republicans is $66.6 Billion. Instead of cutting spending by more, they are actually going to use the leftover surplus from the previous biennium to pay for their proposed inflated Democrat level spending.

The Republicans have NOT proposed returning the remaining surplus or the $3.2 Billion in budget reserves the government has confiscated from taxpayers for the last decade. Why is government holding onto our money in a rainy day fund when it could be put back into the pockets of Minnesota families struggling with high inflation?

No matter what way we look at this supposed deal, it does not look good. Why on earth our Republicans cutting deals with Democrats a month and a half before the end of the legislative session? I thought they were concerned about all the new DFL spending and fraud!!!

Here's a tweet from House Republicans in December of 2023 complaining about the Democrat's spending that they now just cemented in with their new "deal."

They are also giving up the one negotiating position they have with a tied Minnesota House. Republicans could, and should, refuse to vote for any budget that doesn't cut back from the increased spending of the DFL trifecta.

More importantly, they are missing an extremely popular chance of giving the largest tax cuts or rebate checks back to Minnesota taxpayers!

Republicans should embrace "The Conservative Budget" of $52.1 Billion in spending, and no rainy day reserve funds, that would free up $19.3 Billion to give back to taxpayers. With 2.5 million taxpayers in Minnesota, that's $7,720 back in your pocket!!!

While they cave to the Democrats, the MNGOP is gaslighting us about this deal. They want us to believe this is some kind of massive victory for conservatives. And for those of us who dare point out the problems with it, famed Team Red cheerleader and former fiscal conservative, Rep Walter Hudson, will gaslight us some more!

Summary

Minnesota House Republicans cemented in the inflated new Democrat spending levels which fund fraud and waste in our state government. Their proposed $66.6 Billion in spending exceeds the projected revenues of $64.5 Billion, so they are likely going to rob the budget surplus owed to you in order to pay for the Democrat level spending they agreed to. Meanwhile, they are missing an opportunity to take us back to pre-DFL trifecta budgets where $19.3 Billion would be freed up to give each taxpayer a $7,720 rebate check. 

Public education has become weaponized by the Left to propagandize the minds of impressionable children. Radical left teacher union bosses have had control and the outcomes have been horrible for our state. Woke ideologies aside, the majority of students in MN do not meet reading and math standards. These issues can be solved but it will not happen with a top down, one size fits all solution.

GOP Representative Tom Dippel (41B) introduced HF2895 which would serve as one of the strongest school choice options in the country. This legislation appears to be modeled after other states that allow parents to control their child’s education, most notably the strong school choice system of South Dakota.

This bill accomplishes five major items:

1. School choice is universal and not limited with certain income caps.
2. Educational empowerment accounts established.
3. The funding per-student is equal to the public school formula.
4. No strings attached - Parents gain control and can use funds for tutors, tuition, or schools not on an arbitrary list of pre-approved schools. This bill establishes no curriculum, tutor, or school mandates.
5. No overall cap of funding for the program.

Studies shows strong educational improvements coincides with empowering parents to control their child’s education. Educational freedom allows parents and their children to choose the right system for their needs. Schooling comes in all different forms: Private, Charter, Online, Home-schooling, and other individualized education plans. The government has proven to be a failure for students and this legislation appears to be the strongest liberty solution available.

Covid made it clear to all how inefficient, lazy, authoritarian, and anti-logical the current education system is in our state. Children were forced to wear masks that did not work and could not attend classes in person thanks to crony politicians and teacher union bosses. While many rank and file teachers do not feel represented by their union bosses, the indictment on the system still stands and there are more than just a few bad apples. 

In addition, the woke, sexually-charged agenda being imposed on children is causing more anxiety and confusion during their developmental years. A student’s reading, writing, and math skills should be the focus of teachers, not the child’s sexuality or imposing anti-science gender ideology onto them. The Left’s grooming agenda must be fought and cannot be avoided.

HF2895 currently has no Senate companion, likely because it is newly introduced and hasn’t yet reached the desks of potential conservative co-sponsors in the state Senate. Rep. Dippel may want to look toward Sen. Nathan Wesenberg (SD10) and Sen. Bill Lieske (SD58) who also have pro-school choice legislation of their own (SF1194).

President Trump has begun charting the course for education freedom by fighting to eliminate the bureaucratic, wasteful Dept. of Education. President Trump must have the support and effort of Republican legislators rowing in the same direction to be successful. Minnesota’s tight margins in the state legislature allows this critical issue to have a chance. Swing district Democrats will have a tough time explaining a no vote to their parent constituents.

Action 4 Liberty supports parents reclaiming their children’s education and the shrinking of our government. The state has failed students in many regards and new thinking is needed to prevent further destruction. Children are the future and we cannot sit back while Democrats impose their woke, failed agenda. Now is the time to push for this critical legislation, Patriots can find their state Rep. and Senator here to contact them and let their opinion be known.

MNGOP Congressional District conventions are underway in our state and the CD6 and CD7 conventions took place yesterday (Saturday, March 29th). Action 4 Liberty reported yesterday on the CD6 convention, home of Globalist RINO Tom Emmer. At that convention was a rigged election for Chair by blocking Emmer puppet Bobby Benson’s ONLY opponent from being able to speak or run for the position!

While many Patriots were disappointed to see the corrupt RINOs maintain power in CD6, the CD7 convention was a completely different story!

CD7’s Chair, Craig Bishop, is a paid staffer for Michelle Fischbach despite the Chair role requiring neutrality. The conflict of interest of Congressmen paying their CD Chair has become a norm in the MNGOP and can also be found in CD1’s Aaron Farris and CD6’s Bobby Benson. It's like an athlete paying off the referee before a game, the trust in fairness is gone.

CD7 is also the home of Otter Tail County (OTC) and the Patriot duly-elected delegates who have continually been disenfranchised by the MNGOP. The resolve and strength of OTC conservatives who never gave up has led to this moment.

At Saturday’s CD7 convention, conservatives rallied together and were able to win two key positions of the party unit after the body reportedly voted to restore the delegate status and voting power of 32 of the 37 duly-elected OTC delegates.

Longtime CD7 Chair Craig Bishop was replaced with pro-grassroots Bret Bussman. Bussman is a BPOU Chair, former GOP endorsed state senate candidate, and former MNGOP Chair candidate. Bussman defeated Bishop by a vote of 158-131. This change of leadership is a MASSIVE rebuke on the corrupt, anti-grassroots, and anti-liberty tactics CD7 has used to protect RINO politicians. Bussman’s win provides him with a major opportunity to restore fairness to the process and expand the conservative, MAGA base.

Another key race took place yesterday as OTC Patriot and former state senate candidate Nathan Miller defeated establishment RINO Mandy Heffron for the MNGOP State Executive Committee seat. Miller defeated Heffron by a vote of 167-120 (there was an additional candidate who received four votes). As a leader on the ground in Otter Tail, Miller has unified conservatives to rally behind him and never conceded an inch on principles. 

Recent actions by the State Exec. Committee has made it clear to liberty lovers that a change in leadership was necessary. For example, they voted to condemn A4L with bogus lies and voted to again disenfranchise OTC delegates. Now that one of the very OTC Patriots the party has attempted to smear and disenfranchise is on the Committee, a change of pace appears to be coming!

While conservatives were successful in the Chair and State Exec. races, they were unable to defeat RINO Deputy Chair Tiffany Lesmeister-Knott, who has used her role to interfere with the OTC convention and try to disenfranchise their delegates. Lesmeister-Knott was reportedly taken on by grassroots conservative Laura Knudsen. Sources say the first round resulted in a tie of 145-145 and the second round gave the win to Lesmeister-Knott.

Action 4 Liberty empowers the conservative grassroots and has trained many Patriots in Otter Tail so they know how to combat corruption. RINOs and liberals will use the term "A4L candidate" as a slur, when in reality it means a grassroots candidate. It is not A4L that won power in CD7, it was the grassroots.

While Bussman and Miller will likely have a thorn in their side, or a Knott in this case, they will be able to provide representation for the grassroots conservatives who have felt abandoned by a RINO party. Action 4 Liberty looks forward to see fair endorsing conventions and leadership that fights corruption instead of embracing it!

The CD6 MNGOP party unit is one of the most corrupt examples in our state of RINO Establishment control that will rig the process against the Grassroots. This district is home of the Republican Majority Whip (#3 most powerful in Congress), Globalist RINO Tom Emmer and the party unit is run by his puppet, Bobby Benson. 

Benson is paid $130,000 per year by Emmer despite being CD6 Chair, which is an obvious conflict of interest. How can anyone expect Benson to be fair and neutral as Chair while he is paid by Emmer? One never bites the hand that feeds them. This should be prohibited, as it is in the MNGOP Constitution Section 4 Part B, see below:

There was an attempt by delegates to insert similar language into the CD6 Constitution but it was blocked from a convention floor vote by the three person Resolutions committee. See below:

In today’s CD6 Convention, grassroots conservative Jodi Welsh attempted to take on Benson for the Chair election but was BLOCKED from even speaking! This was the ONLY race that had two candidates, all others were unopposed. The grassroots is so much of a threat to the RINO Emmer wing that they refuse to even allow competition! Like Communist China or Dems who tried to remove Trump from our ballots, CD6 RINOs want uniform, unanimous lockstep thinking to prevent real conservatives from taking power.

This has been on display before at CD6 conventions. In 2024, professional golf caddy Chris Corey ran against Emmer as an America First alternative and tried to compete for the endorsement. Despite meeting every requirement laid out for him in the CD6 Constitution and rules, they blocked Corey from being allowed to speak or compete for the GOP endorsement. Many saw unhinged Rep. Walter Hudson’s true colors on that day as he advocated for censorship and the RINO gatekeeping nominations committee. In the end, Corey was kicked out of the convention for daring to fight and speak up.

In the case of Jodi Welsh, she reportedly also met every requirement laid out for her in the CD6 Constitution and rules but also had to face a nomination committee that was rigged against her! Sources say that Jodi was asked strange and personal questions like if she could afford daycare to allow her the time to do the CD6 chair job! Perhaps she should have said “Yes, especially if Emmer is going to pay me $130K a year like Bobby Benson!”

Reportedly, Welsh was informed around 9PM last night that the NomCom was going to find her to be unqualified and not allowed to compete! Welsh is a hardcore conservative activist who is very involved politically. She passed out the following flyers highlighting all of her work for the Republican Party, see below:

A4L is told a vote was taken by the body to let Welsh speak but it was closely defeated (sources believe the vote count was 91 in favor of letting her speak and run for Chair and 120 in opposition). Under the guise of appearing fair, Benson allegedly told delegates he wanted to let Jodi speak. This is likely just more deception and lies from Benson to make his corruption look less obvious. If he truly wanted to let Jodi speak, why couldn’t he convince his own supporters to do so?!?

After A4L forced the truth to come to light on the MNGOP paying $30,000 to ‘white dude for Kamala’ Michael Brodkorb, one has to wonder who else in the MNGOP knew, including the Emmer circle that RINO David Hann was loyal to. Instead of fighting the corruption from within the party, Benson and other RINOs have targeted and attacked the grassroots like bogus condemnation of A4L and the further disenfranchisement of Otter Tail delegates. Sources say the topic was not even brought up during the convention.

Jodi Welsh was not the only person blocked from speaking at the CD6 convention as U.S. Senate candidate Royce White was also told he could not address the body by CD6 party leadership. Royce took to X and unleashed a fire-breathing response to his censorship by CD6. Considering that Royce had large support from CD6 during the previous election and has gotten standing ovations from their delegates in the past, it comes as no surprise that the Emmer world is threatened by him (especially when he calls out Emmer for the neocon Globalist RINO, Ukraine War lover that he is). 

Attendees tell A4L that Royce chewed out several RINOs during the convention including RINO Jim Nash and Tom Emmer! They also say Emmer and Royce were nose to nose while Royce kept his hands behind his back and they began to be crowded by attendees, police located at the event, and secret service officers. Royce explains some of the exchange on X.

The corruption in the CD6 Republican Party is rampant thanks to Tom Emmer and his loyal stooges in positions of power. Conservatives across our state have woken up from the RINO cult and want to see the Republican party fight and deliver for We The People. The establishment shows their cards and corruption more and more every day. The only way they will be defeated is with more grassroots participation. A4L will continue to champion the battle for liberty by standing shoulder to shoulder with the conservative grassroots of our state!
