MN House Passes Tyrannical Gun Control Bill

Today the MN House passed radical gun control (SF2909) that infringes on the Second Amendment Right of law-abiding Minnesotans.

Red flag laws and mandatory background checks for all firearm sales and transfers will be the law of the land if this passes the state Senate and is signed by Tyrant Tim Walz. Today was the second day of debate for this radical bill in the House and it was met with lots of challenge and Amendments from the GOP.

Representative Jim Nash (48A) proposed the A9 Amendment that would remove the background checks section of the bill. See Amendment below:

While one might expect a party line vote on that Amendment, Democrat Dave Lislegard (7B) joined the GOP in opposing background checks. However, most shocking was RINO Andrew Myers (45A) supporting this anti-gun, massive government overreach with the Democrats. Voting for gun control is essentially a self-imposed death sentence, Patriots will never forgive Myers for the vote. See below:

The final passage vote was 69-60, with the only crossover vote being Dave Lislegard (7B). See vote below:

Contact your Senator and tell them to oppose this tyrannical gun control. Politicians need to read the Constitution and understand what “shall not be infringed” means! We need to protect our gun rights because once they are lost, they are lost forever. Additionally, Patriots need to contact the swing district Democrats that are most likely to vote against this! Democrats Vote on Phony Weed Legalization Bill

Minnesota Democrats are screaming from the rooftops about their new marijuana bill, HF 100, which passed the Minnesota House on Monday. Many liberty-minded individuals in Minnesota have long-awaited marijuana legalization, but probably do not realize the long list of regulations that comes with it.

HF 100 is dubbed the “Omnibus Marijuana Bill” for a reason. This long-winded bill is over 300 pages and does so much more than legalize marijuana. If passed, this legislation would:

  • Establish a new government bureaucracy called the “office of cannabis management”
  • Create a statewide monitoring system to track all cannabis movement
  • Create a whopping 13 new licenses required for dispensaries and businesses
  • Create an 8% tax on Marijuana products on top of state and local sales taxes.

Of course, it would not be Democrat legislation if it didn’t contain some woke social language. Equity is mentioned 44 times throughout the bill.

More specifically, so-called “social equity” applicants will be prioritized in the cannabis licensure process, and will be considered for taxpayer-funded grants for their businesses. To be considered for licensure and grants, an applicant must have a diversity plan and environmental plan, among other criteria.

If marijuana is to be legalized in Minnesota, this is not the way to do it. HF 100 gives unfair advantages to some based on how woke they are. It also puts extreme burdens and taxes on small businesses who are already working in a harsh economic climate. Legislators need to do better.

Look at how your representative voted below:

MN House Dems and 14 RINOs Pass Bill that Fires non-Labor Oil Refinery Workers

A crony, corrupt, pro-Union bosses, anti-worker bill was passed through the Legislature, including the State House yesterday by a vote of 83-46. This bill will over-regulate oil refineries and fire all contracted employees who did not participate in a union apprenticeship.

SF10 was sponsored by Senator Judy Seeberger (SD41) and Representative Dave Lislegard (7B) and it is a slap in the face to hard working Minnesotans who contract outside of labor unions. Despite having no evidence of previous oil refinery issues from non-labor contractors, the Democrats and RINOs pushed through this bill because they do the bidding of union bosses instead of the people. This was not about safety, this was about pushing further union boss control.

One would think that those who have previously contracted with Minnesota oil refineries safely and without prior accidents would be grandfathered in. However, the Democrats do not care if you are an expert in your field, they just want you to be beholden to union bosses.

House Republicans pushed several amendments that would allow for individuals with vast experience to continue to be contracted. There are contractors with some of the top level workers for oil refineries who work in states all across our nation, we will no longer be able to rely on these skilled laborers. If someone is trained in a Right to Work state, they would have no union apprenticeship even if they have decades of experience. Additionally, if a previously employed, qualified individual decided to start and finish an apprenticeship program, they would face a severe pay cut!

All Amendments offered failed as the Legislature pushed through this tyrannical bill. To make matters worse, 14 RINOs supported this legislation in the House. The following RINO Representatives are bought and paid for by the union bosses: Greg Davids (26B), Jeff Dotseth (11A), Elliot Engen (36A), Matt Grossel (2A), Shane Hudella (41B), Spencer Igo (7A), Andrew Myers (45A), Isaac Schultz (10B), Roger Skraba (3A), Dean Urdahl (16A), Nolan West (32A), Mark Wiens (41A), Jeff Witte (57B), and Natalie Zeleznikar (3B).

On 4/17/23 this bill passed the Senate by a vote of 39-27 with the following support from RINO Senators: Jim Abeler (SD35), Gene Dornink (SD23), Rob Farnsworth (SD7), Eric Pratt (SD54), and Jason Rarick (SD11).

Our Legislature is beholden to lobbyists and special interests more than We The People. It is a shame that expert oil refinery workers will now be out of a job, all because the Government is sticking their nose where it doesn’t belong. Action 4 Liberty has always fought for individual freedom and against big government bullying. We need to stand up to the corrupt Union boss control of our state before it’s too late!

Walz to Relocate After Pressure Over $17k Rent Bills

Anti-Walz signs reported neighboring his rental home in Sunfish Lake

Governor Walz created new controversy after using $6 million of taxpayer funds to renovate the Governor’s Mansion in St. Paul. After public backlash regarding his $17k/month rental home in Sunfish Lake, he will again be moving. This time, he will be inhabiting the Eastcliff – the soon-to-be vacant home that houses the University of Minnesota President.

Current U of M President Joan Gabel will be leaving her job in July, leaving the $4k/month home open for Walz’s family at taxpayer expense. Breaking the lease with Sunfish Lake home will cost taxpayers $51,000.

Republican Legislators in St. Paul expressed theatrical outrage over the high rental costs, and sought to cap the amount of taxpayer dollars that the Governor could spend on rent. Of course, their efforts were shot down and the issue was almost considered settled.

However, Walz and his Democrat colleagues in the legislature have been facing severe pressure from voters over surplus spending and increased cost of living. Finally giving in, he and his administration opted for a (slightly) more reasonable arrangement.

As previously reported, taxpayers are on the hook for a rental property because Walz sold his Mankato home during his first term as Governor. Now completely relying on the taxpayers, he will in a few short months. Only biding time until the $6 million renovation of the Governor’s Mansion is complete.

MNGOP Email Calls for 'Unified Front' Around Incumbents; Discourages Challenges

The Minnesota Republican Party sent out an email to statewide activists, lecturing them that the "time for infighting is over" and how they must join them in a "unified front" to support Republican incumbents. While there's no doubt the Democrats are showing how bad their agenda is and why they need to suffer at election time, there are plenty of RINOs, or liberal Republicans, who are also advancing the leftist agenda. According to the "geniuses" at the MNGOP, you and I should turn a blind eye.

After 16 years of failing to elect a statewide candidate and a recent election where Republicans lost all branches of government, they are in no position to lecture anyone. Especially when it comes to calling for supporting the same incumbents who continue to FAIL at advancing conservative principles in this state. More importantly, the Party desperately needs NEW PEOPLE and better marketing to be effective in future elections.

No one ever accused MNGOP "leadership" of being smart. Corrupt Chair David Hann has shown he's willing to do what it takes to help the incumbent reelection racket for the Swamp - even if it means the Party remains the status quo. Just last year, he cut off data access for a handful of Republican endorsed, conservative candidates who were primaried by establishment backed challengers.

The call for unity from Establishment Republicans is always a one way street. We either "unify" with their failed policies and failed tactics, or we're the ones creating division. It's never the other way around for them. But that's what is desperately needed - unity around a new, fresh conservative, grassroots movement.

Senate Democrats Pass 'Sanctuary Bill for Genital Mutilation'; 3 Republicans Didn't Vote

Today’s votes in the State Senate displayed how weak the Senate GOP is and how evil the Senate Democrats are. HF146, the transgender sanctuary state bill that legalizes child abuse and child genital mutilation will be the law of the land as soon as Tim Walz signs it. Democrats voted in lockstep, see the vote above.

Action 4 Liberty fought for children and to stop this grooming legislation. We targeted swing district Democrats with door-knocking and phone-calling operations on this issue, but in the end, the Woke cult that has engulfed the modern Democrat Party permeated through the whole ranks of Senate Democrats.

20 Senators did not show up to the Capitol Building to debate this evil bill, preventing the GOP from properly delaying the votes. Of the 20 Senators, 13 are Republicans. 16 Senators who did not show up opted to vote remotely, however, in the end, three “Republicans” did not show up or call in their votes! Senators Carla Nelson, Rich Draheim, and Karin Housely are the three RINOs who are responsible for this dereliction of duty.

Senate GOP leader Mark Johnson has utterly failed in getting his caucus to do their jobs. The Senate has 34 Dems and 33 GOP which means that only one Democrat needed to flip on this crucial vote. However, the math changed once three Republicans failed to do their job today.

Senator Karin Housely posted on Twitter that she was attending a political conference where she can rub elbows with other Swamp creatures. See below:

Senator Carla Nelson posted on Facebook that she plans on having a town hall in Byron tomorrow morning! Maybe constituents will appear to give her an ear full! See below:

It was not simply the final passage of this bill that these RINOs screwed up, there was the A50 Amendment offered by Senator Jim Abeler which received support from Democratic Senator John Hoffman. If these Coleman, Draheim, Housley and Nelson were voting at that time, it would’ve passed! Additionally, it would have forced the bill to go back to the House! See Amendment and vote below:

As of the time when this was written, no excuse or reason was given for Senators Coleman, Draheim, and Nelson.

The GOP has proven themselves to be weak, pathetic, and spineless. We had a real opportunity to stop the worst bill in Minnesota’s history but four RINOs have destroyed all hope. Patriots like us need to continue to fight the Swamp, which includes Republicans and Democrats, if we want to save our liberty. Our state is going down the drain and we need to act fast. Pressure your Legislators to never screw you over like Coleman, Draheim, Housely, and Nelson did!

Senate Democrats Pass 'Conversion Therapy' Ban with Republican Votes

Minnesota Senate Republicans were a huge disappointment on Friday. Not only did 4 members of their caucus fail to show up, but two of them voted for the Democrat's "conversion therapy" ban.

Senators Coleman, Draheim, Housely, and Nelson were absent on Friday. Giving vulnerable Democrat Senators a free pass to vote however they want, while still letting radical legislation pass through. Worse yet, Senators Miller and Duckworth voted for the legislation!

This bill would revoke licensure from professionals who even question notions like gender identity for children. Far more than the "loving and caring" legislation that Democrats pretend that it is.

Senate to Vote on Trans Sanctuary Bill This Friday

Multiple outlets have received confirmation that the Minnesota Democrats plan to bring the “Transgender Sanctuary State” bill to the floor of the Senate this Friday.

This is Representative Leigh Finke’s bill, which passed through the House in March. If signed into law, this legislation would allow a deranged parent to bring their children to Minnesota for “gender-affirming” care, AKA genital-mutilation surgery.

Worse yet, this legislation would allow the state to ignore court orders or requests from a parent in another state to prohibit the youth-surgery.

The Minnesota Senate is controlled by Democrats, but only by one Senate seat. If any of these Democrats break ranks, this legislation is dead.

Contact the following vulnerable Democrats and demand they vote against this legislation.

Tyrannical Dems Propose only giving Taxpayers $275 of Surplus

Minnesota has a record-breaking Surplus that totals over $17 Billion. A Surplus is the result of over-taxation since the money was not appropriated in the previous biennial budget. When Surpluses occur, the only remedy is a total return of the funds to taxpayers.

The House Democrats unveiled their new tax and rebate check proposals. Included in this package are several tax increases, a new income tax tier, reporting requirements for businesses, and a reduction (not elimination) of seniors paying taxes on their social security benefits. To top off this crony bill, Democrats want to return a measly $275 of our own money! We are each owed thousands of dollars!

This proposal is a slap in the face to Minnesotans. Apparently, politicians think they know how to spend our money better than we do! Minnesotans have been struggling under high taxes, inflation, and socialist decrees made by our Legislature and Governor. More and more of our citizens are fleeing the state due to the unaffordability of daily life.

Tim Walz should be chastised and attacked over this move, he said the release of this plan is a “great sign” that they can negotiate for a final bill. Walz promised and campaigned on giving individuals $1000 and families $2000! He said this following the election as well, what changed?!?

A big issue with this proposal is that the language of the bill is not public! We are only to rely on the untrustworthy word of Democrats. This tax bill would destroy our state and waste our tax dollars. Contact your Legislators and demand that they oppose this bill and support a total refund of the Surplus! Pressure is the only tactic we can use to fight the crony system!

Senator Throws Out Teacher Who Supports Pornographic Child Material

On Wednesday, Senator Nathan Wesenberg briefly met with teachers from his district only to throw them out of his office minutes later. The teachers represented the local branch of Education Minnesota, the state's left-wing teacher's union.

Wesenberg openly opposes SF 1311, which includes gender propaganda and critical race theory. Here’s just a snippet of what this bill would require of schools and teachers:

When members of the teacher's union met with Wesenberg, he asked them about these proposals. More specifically, he asked them their opinion on the book It's Perfectly Normal, a kids book that includes images of sex (both homosexual and straight), masturbation, abortion, and more.

Many school districts have outright banned this book for its graphic imagery. When the teachers pushed back on Wesenberg’s criticisms, he invited them to leave.

“I threw them out because we were talking about the perverted book.” he said. “That’s not appropriate; we can’t have that in our schools.”

The conflict escalated when Wesenberg’s guests refused to leave his office. When legislative aides stepped in and asked the teachers to leave, the main spokesman yelled at Wesenberg, saying:

“You Christians are the problem!”

The teacher who took out his anger on Christians is a teacher at a public school in Milaca, who almost certainly teaches Christian students. If you had any doubts about the indoctrination machine being paid for by taxpayers, you can put those doubts to rest.

In public schools, there is a visible and real effort to indoctrinate your children. Parents are better off sending their kids to private schools, or homeschooling them.
